[Q] Can anyone port KITKAT from LAVA IRIS x5 for 504q??

Lava iris x5 has the exact same hardware (except for the selfie cam) as iris 504q, and that comes with Kitkat, can any porter port it to our device???
Please i am dying for a stock pure kitkat experience for our device!!!!

It's chipset is different so we can't port..

Ok fine that's got a videocore, but what about some lenovo phones which have exact same specs as our phone, they have kitkat, why cant the porters port that to ours?

We don't have kernel source code for our device.. and for kitkat to boot we need kitkat boot.img and modules(Kernel), which can only be made when we get source code.. [emoji13]

I'm a noob, forgive me if I'm asking all the wrong stuff. Won't we get the kernel source anywhere ? and there is a CM 11 kitkat for wiko and Mr. @kashifmin has ported it to micromax canvas HD ... so my question is how could he do that ? Also people in the wiko thread mentioned that the CM 11 rom for wiko worked without any modifications for Canvas HD, as it's a clone of wiko, which is also a mtk6589 device. I tried to search similar devices with same specifications as Lava Iris 504q, but I couldn't find any.
I tried to port the CM11 to our device using android Kitchen and it was a failure, which is obvious.

when does yu yureka is getting an offical lollipop update and is there any stable unoffical rom cm12 rom available for yu yureka ?? if available plzz pm me the download link and rooting guide !!

RR kernel seems to be working really well. I am using it on MIUI 7 rom

Im on stock rom 5.0.2..pls suggest me best kernal with link so that i can fully acess my 64GB card as default memory..

please provide the latest kernal link for yureka cm 14.1

Hi... all cm13 marshmallow.roms have bugs & also camera problem. Is there any.porterr devs means please port this vibeui 3.5 from k3 note to our device. Already vibeui 2.5 & 2.9 are success. If dis rom was ported successfully means, this is best marshmallow rom guys...

Me too want anyone to ported vibeui 3.5 for our models.

I think ED300 is going to release CM 13 on 1/08/2016

Alredy cm13 is well working in a6000plus. See xda for mshoiab roms. All workng gud. Nearly no bugs at all....check it out

You can't port it from k3 note,it has mediatek cpu and our device is snapdragon.Has the marshmallow update for A6020 K5 came out?Since its snapdragon 415 based its possible to crossport from it,I guess.

You don't need to. Reverting to lower versions of Android from a higher one doesn't need that. However, from KitKat to - MM, NN, or Oreo, you will need to be on Lollipop first.
