*First of all, i have a XZ c6603 but i flashed a c6602 FW then got OTA update to lollipop (c6602 doesn't have LTE!!)
**Secondly, i tried to make a ftf for you guys, but pc companion gives me this error when i try "repair my phone":

To get lollipop, i decided to make this tutorial, until someone gets pass the error and makes the ftf.
So let's get to it:
1. Download this ftf and flash it :http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/stock-rom-xperia-z-c6602-10-5-0-230-t2763711
2. LOCk YOUR BOOTLOADER IF YOU HAVE IT UNLOCKED. (so the sony update service will work)
3. Update to .283 via Update Center.
4. After rebooting, check the Upade Center again. It should tell you there's an update to .454
5. Wait for it download and update, and you're done.
This is how i did it...Many of you probably did this already but i made this to make everything clear. Cheers

about the new update you can toogle/change notification, have nfc file exchange and the wifi is ok no problem before and after this update but somehow the camera errr.. if you quickly take a picture and you'll get the exact color but if you wait for a seconds before taking a picture it change its color something like yellowish. i noticed that its affecting the light. if the light is direct to the screen you'll get the exact color. i didn't encountered this before the update.
before and after the update I did factory reset but my camera prob is still the same.
I already reinstalled it via PCC but no change my last resort is the SUS

Anyone from india getting this update, i am still in the process of updating.
Just to let everyone know from the information on xperiablog it is still 4.1.2. But it looks like we have the ability to add more toggles in the notification drawer and the navbar is semi-transparent when on the homescreen.
from the features it looks like the same stuff you get in the 4.2.2 update but we are staying on 4.1.2, i guess we are going straight to 4.3.
about the update
what i need to know is
1. will root still be there after update
2. if not will doomlord's exploit able to root it back again?

Yes. You won't find software for a prototype device on PCC.
Flashtool has just been updated to support Z2 - and you will find some .ftf files in the development section of this forum.

I think Sony just list XZ2 in SUS and thr s no actual support for it yet.
cause they make update OTA, through PCC or SUS sometimes for specific users like commercials and journalists & etc.

full wipes are recommended for clean install and it takes some time for new firmware to settle down, it will be smoother.

seems to be a minor bugfix over .283.

I've done it based on creating pre-rooted 4.4.4.
It seems that it has worked so far.

Z3 users said it worked for their lollipop ftf so i bet itll work here.
If we face issues, we could see what they did to fix it since it'll probably require the same actions here.
