Looked at the pdf and (unless I missed it) there is no date availability indicated.
Just tried my update feature and it says my software is currently up-to-date with 24A!
Obviously verizon will do their usual "it will come when it comes"!

It's common for KDZs of official releases to be available before the OTAs get sent out. First they create the KDZ, and then they create the "diff" files necessary to OTA from the last official update (24A_00) to the newest official update. That said, I never believe that a release is official and final until everything else arrives, but that doesn't keep me from flashing it. The presence of the KDZ and of the PDF give good evidence this is final official. On the VS985 G3, we had three leaks of lollipop, 23A, 23B and 23C_00. Then the official release was 23C_01. Sometimes someone is able to get a hold of a leak's OTA file, but not for more than a few users here and there, as what happened on the VS985.
Even once the OTA is made it's very often not rolled out to everyone at once, it's staggered. So while your IMEI (and mine) might say no update, there may be other IMEIs of VK810.4Gs which do report 35A_08 as an available update. I don't think we're sure if they go in numerical order of IMEI or what determines what order they go in.
We might not see the OTA for weeks. Who knows.
You can use LG Mobile Tool 2014 (not the official LG/Verizon flash tool) on a Windows PC to flash this 35A_08 KDZ. You can try "Normal" mode which will keep your data, or "CSE" mode which will wipe everything including internal storage (not the additional Micro SD card).

It amazes me that the Verizon VK810 got this update before the V500. Although thinking back on it we did get a Korean "leak" as well...

Is anyone "concerned" over the wifi issue with the LG G3 update (5.01) that may or may not impact the gPad?
I have kept both my Lg G3 and gPad "stock" this time around and when the G3 updated a short time ago, I could connect with but no longer utilize my home wifi. I have to connect to another close by xfinity wifi in our condo unit that is open and it works fine!
There is a supposed work around that I am just too stubborn to do it as I wish to remain stock with these two units. Those of us impacted by the Verizon/LG issue (apparently "legions") are still waiting for a fix to be uploaded which as of today is still not forthcoming.
However, this experience concerns me regarding this update for the gPad unless the 5.02 has taken care of the 5.01 issue.

I just wanted to chime in that I likely won't be able to test whether this too will have the WIFI issue since I haven't had the issue on my Verizon G3 at home, work or elsewhere. I know it's real, I've just been lucky. Someone else will have to let us know.
You can always roll back to 24A_00 or any other KDZ though, just as on the G3.

I have been unable to have my Verizon G3 at home reproduce this issue either. I do not doubt that the problem exists, unfortunately I am unable to determine if the problem also occurs on a G-Pad (V500). I have a V500 with the Korean lollipop release installed and am testing it currently, trying to see if I am going to run the US Image stock when it is released. The wifi issue as I have read about in the Verizon G3 forums does not appear to occur for me on my wifi access points.

If you want root on 35A_08, you can roll back to (flash) the 24A KDZ, re-root with Stump, go through the brief hoopla to get TWRP installed (I've done it so many times I don't know it like the back of my hand but I'm very comfortable with it), and flash my completely stock ROM that's almost done uploading in the Development section. You WILL have to separately flash the latest SuperSU.zip by @Chainfire (detailed and links in my ROM OP) to have root before you leave your custom recovery.
I saw yesterday that the update was rolling out. Manually checked on the tablet twice this morning and it said no update available. Then, not a half an hour later I got the OTA notification. Just finished downloading and updating itself - took about 40 minutes. I did lose Root.
After I finished downloading the kdz file and checked again then I got the OTA version. It took 2-3 reboots after I finished installing before the lag went away. Now it is faster than ever.

My update came through this (5/21) afternoon.
Absolutely no problems or issues with the download or install.
Running smoothly with v 5.02 and with absolutely NO issues with my home wifi!
Now if only Verizon and LG would pull their collective heads for their collective orifices and put out a v. 5.02 for the LG G3 to correct the wifi issues with 5.01, I would feel my life had been fulfilled!
Absolutely no WiFi issues with the gPad update so "go figure"!
Running nicely, but work to get installed
Got it installed and it appears to be running well. I will post more when I have had some more time with it and tested more features.
I did have a tough time getting it installed, probably because I was rooted. I was getting "Err 0x13e" on the updater screen and then error 402 when it rebooted into KK and said it failed.
What I did to get it installed:
- Unrooted - still errors
- Used Verizon upgrade software to "repair" the tablet
- download LG drivers and install
- connect tablet and run installer that is mounted on Windows
- Repair stated that it would preserve data, etc., then said that method failed and it would need to erase data to repair
- Chugged for a while repairing and succeeded
- On reboot, it was still running KK and all of my data was still intact (hmmm...but good)
- Then, updated to LP with the OTA
The Verizon tool doesn't even install for me. It says installing, then it disappears.
Edit: Never mind, Lollipop's up and booting

reckon its best to make a backup of your apps with TB or any similar program when the official update is available, then flash back stock (no root) and update, afterwards simply restore your normal (non-system) apps and your ready

To answer you and the gentleman above... Australia will probably be the last country on earth to get the update as usual. So we might have to reside to getting it of some kind developer who uploads it here somewhere.
If you do wish to get updates you should go back to stock firmware (probably the first backup you made for your telstra 4.1.2) doesn't matter if it's rooted. Connect your phone to the PC and have KIES installed. Click update firmware and update (done, it will automatically unroot your phone and put back the stock recovery). You can easily update after that.
If anyone finds any android 4.3 working please update us here as soon as you can with a link to the page. If I find a working ROM for the official android 4.3 TW ROM I'll post it here too.

Well now...I've been holding off playing with rooting my phone (as I'm new to 'droid and have an awful lot to learn, but have come a LONG way in 2 weeks) as I was expecting Telstra to release an update. Since that appears NOT to be forthcoming, Ill consider the various root options, none of which are particularly appealing at the moment mainly as it seems no-one has a stock ROM for this phone online and I can't backup mine without root. Catch 22 it seems. Information on locked bootloaders, Telstra ROM mods, rooting the 7105 "T" version is VERY limited
So...if anyone happens to have a link for a ROM copy please let me know.
(Or info on a rooting technique that works)
Ultimately every one on xda will be using the custom 4.3 rom for the note 3 goodies because Samsung will not be releasing those features in it's official release

Okay I will explain what I done for you...
When I first rooted my Galaxy Note 2 in May, I was a new-comer to android, I had an iPhone for a long time. What I done was root my phone, I Odin installed TWRP after rooting because I really don't like CWM (those are the names of the 'recoveries' available), they will replace the default Samsung recovery. Just make sure you get TWRP. I think it's up to TWRP 2.6.3
Well yeah let's get back to the topic, as soon as I rooted I used TWRP to make a backup of my default Telstra ROM (completely with EFS, MODEM, basically tick everything you can possibly backup).
I took that backup and put it on my laptop and on my PC and I kept a copy on my external card the whole time. That was the best idea, any time I ever had any problems with my phone I went back to that backup. I even soft bricked my phone once and after hours of panicking I realised I can just Re-install the default backup, and it fixed my phone.
Oh and I just recently un-rooted my phone to check for updates. All I done was use SuperSU to do an UNROOT. Then went into recover, restored the original backup I made of the Telstra ROM. Plugged my phone into the PC, and used Samsung KIES to check for firmware update. It just restarted my phone, removed TWRP recovery, re-installed the samsung one, and it removed the root completely and I'm basically went back to my original telstra ROM. I can go into settings and check for updates and everything. (I can confirm there is no update as of yet).
AS for your other QUESTION.
ALL THE ROMS in the N7105 Section will WORK with your N7105T Model. It's the same thing. JUST WATCH OUT and make sure you never install N7100 ROMS (They will soft-brick and could hard-brick your phone).
Thanks for the input.
I've been considering between 3, namely CF AutoRoot, Galaxy Note Toolkit And (exploit based) Framaroot, with a bias towards Toolkit so far ( as it specifies the 7105 "T" variant).
But if you've actually ODINed a GT-7105T (Telstra) with CWP without issues, I'll certainly consider that.
Any one else care to chime in on this (if you've done the same phone/telco only though !)
I've come far enough to understand rooting, boot processes, CWM/TWRP, exploits AND the importance of picking the exact model !
I'll take the plunge when I get enough input to decide.

It's not that hard really, you can't really mess it up if you follow the instructions... Hey root it whichever way you see fit, whatever you think is easier for you, don't listen to me. But I do highly recommend you get TWRP for backing up and formatting and installing your ROMS. Also I recommend PAC-MAN it's a good ROM, but it's not very stable at the moment (kind of).

Is the ATT OTA any good or provide significant improvements? My phone is currently running pretty flawlessly with Grevious ROM and I'm kind scared to brick it following the Flash to stock thread instructions lol. I've read the instructions several times and I'm confident in following them, but I really don't want to somehow brick it or get into bootloops and be out a phone for any period of time.

You're not missing anything, if anything you're saving yourself aggravation. There's not a single improvement that I can see with the phone yet it's introduced a nice battery drain by the name of "Android System" once you update to the new firmware. Happened to my original G2, and last night on my 2nd G2 when it auto updated as I was sleeping. You'll notice "Android System" now taking up about 50% of your battery usage. I don't even know how it automatically updated last night as I was sleeping, must have been like that Windows auto update thing where it tells you it's gonna do it in 15 minutes unless you intervene or something. I'm really debating if I should try to flash it back to stock because it's that bad, this coming from a person running it stock this entire time without even rooting.
Are you bricked after the OTA? Here's how to unbrick it, locked or unlocked.
One other note: this is NOT an official 183 FXZ, so if this doesn't work, it won't make things worse, but you'll just have to wait for the "official" 183 FXZ.
Thanks go to stras1234 for providing a KK FXZ for those that needed it to unbrick their phone.
Another big thanks goes to SamuriHL for providing a tool to use the FXZ provided by stras1234 to make your job easier to unbrick your phone and get you running with KK.
Go here to get the FXZ and tool to help you profit in the glory that is Kit Kat on the XT926 Droid RAZR HD -> http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/45494-how-to-xt926-upgrade-to-kitkat-ota/
I have removed all my instructions as they are useless and no longer necessary with the FXZ being released.

If you're already on stock 9.30, then it should work. I think the hang-ups for many who are manually loading it themselves via taking the OTA directly, were where if you were pushed the OTA and immediately accepted it and allowed it to go through and update it, it might have worked as long as you were unrooted on stock 9.30.
However, I chose to save the OTA off to the side (from the /cache directory) and hence, booted into the recovery manually, not realising that it installs a newer stock recovery and that's where I got hung up at. I thought the install failed, when in reality, I had to go back into the recovery and install it again. Of course, I tried using vol-down + vol-up and it wouldn't work.
If you currently have root though under 9.30, you might want to hold off until someone verifies if root can be obtained again. Because, without an unlocked boot loader, you will more than likely lose your access to root, especially if the latest "exploit" for 9.30 doesn't work under KK.
Your mileage may vary, but I don't have a locked bootloader phone to test this out on, so please, I do not accept any responsibility for what may happen if you try it, whether you have a locked or unlocked bootloader.
Thanks!
Just what I was needing to hear! I am currently rooted so I'll probably hold off. I've got a used Moto X on order though, should get it in today. After I test it out and verify that I can tolerate it and the smaller battery, then I might do some experimenting with the xt926 model I have and report back. Though, as anticipated as this update is, I'm sure someone will have already beat me to all the testing within a few hours from now lol
I'm on 9.30 with locked bootloader. I've tried your method but can't get pass signature verification. It just won't be installed on 9.30 firmware. There must be anything can be mess in updater script to avoid error signature.

the problem some people are having is, they flashed to 9.30 but the correct version they should be on is 9.18 and this post http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/topic/44920-xt926-update-1824610-update/?p=431391 explains why thats a problem.

For all my 9.30.1 people, I love you guys too.http://pan.baidu.com/s/1eQimdea
Enjoy that official KK ota for 9.30.1 over that slow ass chinese server and stop trying to get the 9.18.94 to work.

I flashed to 9.30. When I received the OTA from the soak push, I saved the OTA off to the side and didn't apply it immediately. Then, when I attempted to apply it (after using House of Moto to fastboot it back to 9.30 stock), it rebooted after it started applying and then went back to the recovery screen, but at that point, they had changed how you get into it. It's now volume-up + power, not volume-down + volume-up.
In any case, that second step needs to happen where you go back and re-apply the OTA.
I'm thinking if I would have taken the OTA automatically right after it downloaded, it was probably automated. That, or maybe Motorola/Verizon decided to make it a game and see if people could figure it out? :silly:
Safe root for me was a no go. But kitkat is pretty nice!

Thanks for all the info. Got KK up and running
I used these instructions - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52602576&postcount=1
and I used this file - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52610188&postcount=11
All last night I tried using the leaked file someone put up from that "slow ass Chinese server" haha. Long story short, it didn't work at all.
This morning I tried again, and nothing. So I tried this file (the one I linked up top) and it worked like a charm. I installed it via recovery, phone rebooted, used vol up + power to get into new KK recovery, applied leaked file again, and boom I got KK.
As someone in another thread said, during the update it does say "Phase 1 possibly complete". WTF is that all about?
I've flashed my Razr Maxx HD to Kitkat using that slow Chinese server. I'm so happy it runs much smoother than JB. Everything seems fast and smooth. The new aosp lockscreen is much better than blur lockscreen. The aosp messaging is also nice. I can live without root for a while coz I already have a Photon Q modding to max. The only thing I dislike is the stock launcher which is not transparent anymore. So,I replace it with Nova Launcher Prime. It looks better now. Btw,I'm using GSM network and I notice signal is better than previous JB.

Glad it's all working for you now. It definitely performs better than JB ever did.
LS980 = Major Pain. I've rooted and flashed over 20 phones/tabs and I think it may be worst.
Thanks for any help !
I have bone stock Sprint 4.4.2 Kitkat ZVC LS980, then rooted and w/ TWRP 2.7.0.
I get bootloop after flashing CM11 or Slimkat and wiping.
I can get back to stock KK if I spend 5+ minutes mashing the buttons in different combos w/ different timing and USB inserted or not, and getting to recovery. Then I restore the stock backup I made.
I previously flashed many different ROMs and kernels OK.
All this recent grief was preceded by flashing the wrong KK modem, then trying to load Mahdi ROM, having CM installed at that point. That gave me bootloop.
From recovery I used dd to flash ZVC partitions. Recovery stopped working and I got fastboot. I tried using fastboot to flash all partitions, then I got Security Error.
I fixed Security Error by spending 3 hours messing with a Windows 7 PC again, using flashtool to flash ZV8 that worked before. (This time I wrote down steps, for next time, LOL.)
So ZV8 worked, and I OTA'd to ZVA. That worked and I OTA'd to ZVC.
That's when I used ioroot25r1 to root succesful. And LS980_AutoRec to flash TWRP 2.7.0.
I've never used this phone as a phone or had any dealings with Sprint; not sure about it's previous history, I bought it on EBay.
BB seems to be M8974A-AAAANAZM-2.0.20046, I presume automatically updated w/ OTAs before root and recovery flash.
I swear I must have spent at least 8 hours on this "adventure". And I'm a dev who's been doing low level Android for 3.5 years and low level Linux stuff since 1996 and built various CPU and computer projects starting in the late 1970's...
So what the heck am I missing here ?
Thanks for any help !
I don´t know if it could be helpful, but I use to flash my LG G2 D802 with a stock rom JB not KK, and I use too CWM not TWRP and I´ve never had a problem flashing.
I have Slimkat in my device, although I had CM11 and stock roms modified without any problem with them.
Anyway, good luck

Yeah, it should be easy enough to try CWM.
Some carrier variants, like my Sprint, often have issues the International models don't.

Flashing CWM didn't help.
What worked was LG Flashtooling back to ZV8, and rooting and recovery installing from there, as I did many months ago.
I dunno why. But I'm happy for now, until next bootloop at least.
Finally, great news

Only for a little while.
Flashed CM11. Good.
Flashed SlimROM. Good.
Flashed Mahdi and LS980 Patch. Good-ish for a while, then the kernel went crazy with audio devices disappearing.
Try to re-flash CM11. Bad.
Try to restore stock. Bad.
Grrr... Back to LG Flashtool ZV8. OTA to ZVA. Re-root.
Not sure about next step.
Time for me to learn about Loki I guess.

These days, all phones for CDMA networks are going to have more issues than those for GSM networks. Really best to go with a GSM network if possible. But Verizon's network definitely beats AT&T's (and especially T-Mo). Not worth the price, IMO, but I'd say only use Verizon if you're in an area that only Verizon works well. Sprint is useless.
It´s a pity hear that, I wish you the less possible problems with it, and a soon solution

This is a phone I bought only for testing of my FM apps. I think there's a place for a GSM SIM in it, but I still don't know and don't care too much right now.
EDIT: Hmmm, under System updates I've never been able to do "Update PRL", "Update profile" or "UICC Unlock" I think due to authentication issues. But I can "Update Firmware" and I think "Update LG Software".
I went with Sprint instead of D802 because they were cheap on EBay, as low as $200-250. Possibly a banned ESN (despite the EBay listing), but again that doesn't affect me.
But if I could do over, I might go for d802; as you say less troubles, and many more people have d802s than Sprint.
Hi all,
For those with the AT&T version of the LG G Pad 7 the Android 5.0.2 update is here. Looks to have been released 2 days ago actually. See http://www.att.com/esupport/softwareUpdateArticle.jsp?sid=KB425003&cv=820
My tablet is not rooted or modified in any way. I checked for updates, says none available so no upgrade for me yet. Will post back once I get it. I've upgraded other devices from KitKat to Lollipop and they are always laggy after the upgrade. I plan to upgrade then factory reset the tablet as that seems to work out much better.
Finally received the update. All went well since I as not rooted or anything like that. Not used it for long but seems a bit more responsive. I did factory reset and set up as new after doing the Lollipop upgrade.
Does anyone know a successful root method. I've tried everything with no luck. There's got to be some way.

hi, were you connected to att network when recieved the update?
Yes my G Pad 7 has a valid/active AT&T Sim card in it. I have it on my mobile share value plan.
Is there a way to root 5.0.2? Everything I have tried seems to fail.

No way to root lollipop. I'm back on KK and working on PAC Rom build.

I have the KK source code for the v410. Is there no way to build a KDZ from it? I am guessing there is not because someone would have though of this by now.
I still don't see this update available. Im using it on wifi only, with no sim card. Can this be the issue?
The mobile(SIM) network is used to access protocols(most common is time/date and OTA) that routers ignore. To update go to AT&T and ask for a new SIM or root; custom recovery; flash update.

Hi, dear, I have been looking for that zip for a long time, can you please give me a link of that as you have said there's a zip with the update, But you didn't share the link of that update kindly do please.
As far as i don't have an AT&T SIM and if i would have one i don't live in the US of America so the OTA on the SIM card is impossible, that way i have asked you guys to share a link you have or someone might have seen it somewhere around the world.

I downloaded KingRoot from app store and that does the trick.
Is there a manual zip file or something for lollipop? Att with no sim. No OTA available
KingRoot APK worked for me..took two tries..then I replaced their flavor of SU with SuperSU....I still have not been able to custom recovery the beast tho.. Lollipop 5.0.2..tried to Flashify with TWRP 3.0.0.0 Bumped..I get boot certification error when I try to go into recovery.. But I can reboot back into Stock ROM..kinda got cold feet..don't want to hose the device!

Memory woes
I've been running my v410 with lollipop for a while now and was getting pretty discouraged that apps keep crashing. Large apps like games will crash when a calendar notification pops up, etc.
I used KingRoot to gain root and then SuperSUme to replace SU and remove KingRoot bloat. Mostly to kill ads since I'm running stock with no custom recovery (there are only about 6 apps I use that require SU)
So anyway, I recently installed Kernel Adiutor to take a peek at some kernel tweaks. Low and behold, the default low memory killer settings are set super aggressive! The most aggressive preset available in Kernel Adiutor is still only half of the default values. I knocked it down to "moderately aggressive" and my memory problems are gone (mostly). I'm now playing with the Z-RAM settings to try and get my memory usage to be more efficient.
I was afraid I would have to downgrade to KK to get this thing back to usable. Perhaps not...
