Reception (in the house) for one is great. Full speed LTE (relative of course, depending on your subscription), full bars reception, very happy with it :good:
Using the previous modem usually the speed was around 25Mbit max. Now let's see if there are also some battery improvements (better signal means less battery use)

The zip files are compressed. It reduces the total size.

It is not a kernel. This thread is about the radio/baseband.

I've updated OP with more modems and a note if its a leaked or official version.

CleanSlate ROM for HTC M9+ (not for supreme camera edition!)Hit the Thanks button if you like the work being done, or donate to the dev:
DONATION HERE
The authentic stock Sense 7.0 experience with best from both worlds: carrier free blinkfeed, adblocking, rooted and ChinaSense Home tweaks (read below) make it the best combination to enjoy all possible features of the M9+ software and hardware with international World Wide Edition defaults.
About the ROM:
- Android 5.0.2 Lollipop
- NOT for the supreme camera edition!!
- Base: 1.90.401.3 Europe and 1.88.707.1 Asia-WWE editions
- Left fully Odexed, fast application loading
- HTC Sense 7.0, Stock as HTC intended on Europe/WWE bases
- Stock Kernel
- WWE/Europe applications
- Comes in two parts:
-- 1. base ROM installer (almost untouched Sense 7 ROM + stock boot image) for Asia-WWE and Europe separated (check locales here) and
-- 2. Additions package installer for
---- Google apps
---- other apps (Twitter, Facebook and more),
---- International Sense Home BlinkFeed news editions (carrier free)
---- Addition of many many locales that are not in the base installment (NEEDS FULL WIPE/FRESH SETUP TO WORK!)
---- ChinaSense Sense Home tweaks on/off (brightness slider, Clear all apps on Recent Apps, swipe over home for Notification pull down)
---- SuperSU rooting
---- AppOps for managing application permissions
---- Ad blocking
- Installable from custom recovery (e.g. TWRP)
Credits & Thanks:
- HTC for the great ROM base and phone
- Flemmard for helping out as always with some ROM questions
- HTC-G11-Black for the E9+ scripts
- amarullz for his fantastic Aroma installer
- ChainFire for SuperSU and its installer
- mike1986. for his aroma installer example so I could quickly assemble things
Needed:
- HTC One M9+ (m9pw) Unlocked (S-On or S-Off)
- Custom Recovery (e.g. TWRP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/one-m9-general/recovery-twrp-2-8-6-0-english-m9pw-t3116099)
Installation:
1- Make sure your phone is unlocked and with custom recovery
1.1 - Make a full backup in Recovery just in case
2- Download the ROM and the additional package and copy them to your M9+ phone through MTP, or download them on your phone
3- Boot your phone to recovery mode (Power off the phone, then long Vol down + Power, select Boot to Bootloader, there: select Boot to Recovery)
4- In TWRP (or other custom recovery) select Install --> if you're using my TWRP version from here on XDA, make sure you install FROM THE INTERNAL MEMORY, external Sdcard doesn't work in that TWRP, and ruins your system partition!!!
5- Browse CleanSlate-europe-full-odexed-x.y.zip, select it, install it.
---- If you don't want to install CleanSlate Additions you should do a Wipe in the Recovery, but you will need to install some Google Apps and the other apps from Play Store when the ROM started and was set up. If you plan to install Additions, don't reboot after installation of the zip yet!
6- When it finished with installing the package, don't leave Recovery/don't reboot, instead go back in Recovery, select Install again
7- Browse CleanSlate-additions-x.y.zip, start installing it
8- Select 'Wipe data' if coming from other region's ROM like China or from an old base, only select 'Don't wipe' if reinstalling the ROM zip.
9- Then proceed with the installer to your needs (select Google apps, other apps)
10- After both installers went successfully, reboot the device - it will start to boot and you'll have to wait a long time when it is updating all the applications cache at first boot
11- Setup will start with English (United States), select from the available locales whichever you prefer
12- If the Additions's BlinkFeed patch didn't work out and you only have e.g. Chinese news editions, make sure to wipe cache/app data in Settings/Apps/All/Sense Home and/or install this mod, and switch off Auto update for the app in Google Play
12.1 - Check XPosed installation guide if interested in further Sense customization with the famous Sense Toolbox
13- Enjoy, share your experience, hit the Thanks button, rate the thread and if you find it worthy, buy me a beer donating
ROM installer (CleanSlate-(region)-full-odexed-x.y.zip)
- Base installer without most of the Google applications and some third party apps removed
(needed to trim them down a bit and move them to the Additions installer to fit into the 2GB max installer size TWRP can handle)
Additions (CleanSlate-additions-(region)-x.y.zip)
- Root with SuperSU
- Google applications (optional)
- International Sense Home BlinkFeed news editions (carrier free) (optional)
- Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, File Explorer, Flash, Adobe Reader (optional)
- Addition of many many locales that are not in the base installment (NEEDS FULL WIPE/FRESH SETUP TO WORK!)
- AdWay ad blocker and set up default ad blocking (optional)
- ChinaSense Sense Home tweaks (brightness slider, Clear all on Recent Apps, swipe down on home for Notification pull down)
DISCLAIMER
As usual, use it at your own risk! This comes without any warranties, by downloading and using it you are taking all responsibilities on yourself.

KNOWN ISSUES
- in China internet region there's an issue with set up being stuck, probably some site the setup would try to use is blocked in China? Workaround: Switch off Wi-Fi and Mobile data too, then go through setup wizard, and then access internet through your arbitrary VPN that works in the region to set up accounts.
CHANGELOGS
CleanSlate-additions 1.0.1 (2015-05-31):
- added 'Carrier free BlinkFeed in Sense Home' modification
CleanSlate-europe-full and CleanSlate-additions 1.1 (2015-06-05):
- rebased to Europe 1.61 maintenance release (many changes in ROM base, new radio/kernel/camera libs updated and many more by HTC)
CleanSlate-additions 1.1.1 (2015-06-06):
- Added optional ChinaSense tweak On/Off into CleanSlate-Additions-1.1.1
--- if you reflash Additions you can now select ChinaSense tweak, which adds these options in one step: Brightness slider in Notification Area settings / Swipe down on Home screen for Notification pull down / Clear all apps in Recent Apps
- no need for wipe
CleanSlate-additions 1.1.2 (2015-06-11):
- Only CleanSlate additions updated to contain the latest HTC Sense Home (7.12.560895) from Google Play Store, with mod of International News Editions for Blinkfeed
(- removed some duplication of files in the zip to lower the size of additions zip).
CleanSlate-Asia-WWE-full-odexed 1.1 (2015-06-16):
- Upgrading Asia WWE edition to 1.61.707.4 base from 1.08 old base. Plan is to keep an Asia-WWE and Europe base parallel.
CleanSlate-Additions Europe / Asia-WWE 1.1.3 (2015-06-19):
- Updated to latest HTC Sense Home from Google Play Store (7.12.563037)
- added AppOps installation (optional) for managing Application permissions
CleanSlate-Additions Europe / Asia-WWE 1.1.4 (2015-07-17):
- Added a zillion locales to Additions installer, and you can install this separately over an existing installation of CleanSlate 1.1, but you'll need a FULL DATA WIPE and fresh setup for this to let them show up in Locales settings
CleanSlate-Europe-full-odexed 1.2 (2015-07-27):
- Upgrading Europe edition to 1.85.401.5 base from 1.61 old base. Plan is to keep an Asia-WWE and Europe base parallel, but no Asia firmware yet on 1.85.
- with official HTC base came more fluid UI experience, quicker multitask swaps, updated video encoding libraries
CleanSlate-Europe-full-odexed 1.2.1 and CleanSlate-AsiaWWE-full-odexed 1.2.0 (2015-08-23):
- Upgrading Europe edition to 1.85.401.6 base from 1.85.401.5 (mainly StageFright vulnerability fix).
- Upgrading Asia WWE to 1.88 base. Keep in mind it doesn't work with CleanSlate kernel (htc has not yet released kernel source for kernel coming with 1.88 base, and 1.85 kernel source hangs)
CleanSlate-Europe-full-odexed 1.2.2 (2015-11-01):
- Upgrading Europe edition to 1.86.401.7
- No wipe needed to flash, and you can use CleanSlate-additions-Europe 1.2.1 and CleanSlate-kernel 1.0.2 over Europe edition. Also if you flash the ROM, don't forget to flash the additions and kernel if you need them, as many elements are overwritten by the CleanSlate-Europe-full-odexed zip!
CleanSlate-Europe-full-odexed 1.2.3 (2016-01-30):
- Upgrading Europe edition to 1.90.401.3 - BREAKS CLEANSLATE CUSTOMER KERNEL COMPATIBILITY!
- No wipe needed to flash, and you can use CleanSlate-additions-Europe 1.2.3 over Europe edition. Also if you re-flash/update to the ROM, don't forget to flash the additions if you need them, as many elements are overwritten by the CleanSlate-Europe-full-odexed zip! CleanSlate kernel is not compatible. Use older version if you need CleanSlate kernel mod

That's a good question. and luckily it is possible .
I'll get hold of some of the stock recovery I can (Asia,Tw, China) and post a new thread for a collection.
My question is, what would you like to use it for? Receiving OTAs? I think it would be blocked by your carrier ID in ABoot, if you're not S-Off.
Although If only for the possibility of going back to stock recovery that's fine.
thanks for your ROM , now i can use google Apps

First, hTC will release OTAs step by step for different regions and different carrier ID.
I would like to receive OTAs in very first time and I must restore to stock to receive the OTA including firmware update.
Test the stock one some time and then flash custom ROM again......
Second, if...if you damaged your phone,we would backup our own data and usually restore to stock, then send to repair hub on hTC. No private data on it...
Got the stock recovery image.....thanks again.

I see. But you confused me a bit, because you uploaded a Taiwanese cid system dump, so you will need the Taiwanese stock recovery for that. Luckily I could already upload that to the same thread.

Thats surprising given the fact that M9+ is not officially available in Europe and they come up with an update :silly: Anyways, keep us posted on the changes you notice, specially regarding the camera.

Ok guys if you have had a Note 1, 2, 3 or 4 you may be familiar with my Sweet ROM series. Sweet ROM was the very first Note 4 custom rom released on either platform.
Those of you that know my Sweet ROM's from the Galaxy Notes will know I generally build a full ROM. I like to keep all the Samsung apps etc in though I do a light de-bloat of some apps available on Play Store. Users can delete what they want to lighten the ROM if they wish and know what they are doing.
ENJOY

This is a T805Y Exynos ROM. It should work on T805 but you will need to flash a T805 kernel for everything to work.
This rom is built for standard dpi. If you wish to change it that is fine but I don’t take requests to fix dpi issues
I cooked this ROM for my own personal enjoyment and it works for me. *What works for me may not work for you. I merely put together what I like and use. If you don't like it then please don't flash it or even download it as it costs me personally for file hosting.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DEVICE. IF YOU CHOOSE TO FLASH THIS ROM OR ANY OF THE ATTACHED MODS THEN THAT IS ENTIRELY YOUR CHOICE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG.

Either there is not much interest in the Tab S development or it seems I have a variant (T805Y) that not many people have. Anyway its just a little something I cooked up for myself and thought I'd share in case there was any 805Y users out there, apparently not, ha ha

Well I have a Galaxy Tab S 10.5 T800. Not sure if this would work or not on mine. I may get brave and try it someday.
I installed it last night. Thank you not-i, all working well so far but wont have much chance to play with it until next week now. Also installed your modem and kernel but not 3Minit battery yet.
If it possible please cook sweet rom for SM-T705, too. Thanks very much in advance for your kindness

I can but I would need a tester as I don't have the device. I might give it a go on my days off if there is further interest in it as I support 2 variants of Note 4 that I don't own too.
The testers would need to be willing to test pretty quickly after I upload though so if that's you or someone else can let me know

So, could you please include the flashable modem for T705 like your sweet rom v.14 on note 4, too.
And let I inform about some bug on the lastest sweet rom 910C/H as I found which it may occur on T705. I installed the rom for 4 days I found sometimes screen error. The screen displayed wierd icon on touch whiz. It haven't offen occured. Sometimes while turn on my device from stand by. Sometimes while I closed app and back to home screen. So, Please check this issued. Thank you very much.
Hey Boss, can this be installed on SM-T805 ? Would really love to, by the way your note series were really the bomb.

If you are already on lollipop it should install and I don't include modem so you will keep your 805 modem.
Do a nandroid backup first then try and let me know how you go. I have heard some people with T805Y have flashed T805 roms with no issues

If you enjoy nightly builds but find all the steps necessary to flash a burden like me, you would be glad that I have achieved OTA updates for UNOFFICIAL builds. I have put together an OTA script that checks every hour for latest build and passes that download link as JSON response to CM Updater OTA app in settings. Example response:
Code:
{"id":null,"result":[{"incremental":null,"api_level":"23","url":"https:\\...\cm-12.1-20150603-UNOFFICIAL serranodsxx.zip","timestamp":"1433289600","mdsum":"23dcbc0c2ba6474f64566adde9d1f6d5","changes":null,"channel":"nightly","filename":"cm-12.1-20150603-UNOFFICIAL-serranodsxx.zip"}],"error":null}
The server :
Supports basketbuild and androidfilehost hosted builds.
Is a free host, with 87% uptime.
Does not host builds
Does not build deltas
Builds flashable zip for every ota supported
You must have TWRP recovery for ota's to work. If you don't have it, you can get it from HERE.
If you don't want TWRP on your device, you can manual flash updates from sdcard0/cmupdater with CWM or Philz.

Flash OTA zip for your device and build from http://ota.heliohost.org/zips/, you don't need to flash the zip again after an ota update as it is included in addon.d so it is restored after flash.
*files with _launcher add Updater to appdrawer (useful for non CM builds that don't have Updates in settings>About)
*files with _settings are CM stock
Server changelog:
new script. Once every 2 hours, generates response and zip for 10 builds in less than 30 seconds.
removed ota limit.
changed host.
set androidfilehost.com link limit to 5. [1/5 used]
added androidfilehost.com support.
changed build limit from 2 to 30. [7/30 used]
more optimization.
initial release.
If you want to host your own server [only one build supported], you can find the lite script for basketbuild and androidfilehost in attachments. Just add at first line $raw_url="your build's folder url" . I've added all functions in one file to be easy to set up. Just upload index.php to a folder in your host and set the link to that folder with the options bellow.
There are two ways to route OTA app to your server.
Open CMupdater.apk with hexeditor, search for https://download.cyanogenmod.org/api and replace it with the link to your server(Use Paste-Replace not Paste-Insert), then add that apk to OTA_template.zip from attachments in system/priv-app/CMUpdater.

Add cm.updater.uri= 'your server link' on your own build.prop file.
Thank you:
CyanogenMod for their work on OTA app.
k2wl for integrating my server link in your source.
All devs for keeping our devices updated.
julianxhokaxhiu for the insight on how the CMUpdater works.
Internet for php knowledge.
If you like my work, please consider donating.
Cheers !
To do:
Will update zip with addon.d to backup CMUpdater.apk at ota flash so that there will be no need to flash updater again. DONE!
If you want more features, post.
For security and performance concern, I decided not to add control panel for users to freely add builds to server. Just ask and if possible I will add the requested build to server.
Info:
This method can be used by any device or android version. Current zip builder makes zip only for lollipop, but if requested, I can add support for KitKat as well.

will you try to add basketbuild links to OTA script???
that way we can add aicp /cm to this script
Hey @BioGenX Thanks for your effort. I have few queries.
I am on F4K latest 12.1 CM for DUOS(9192) version with F4K kernel and I have flashed your OTA ZIP and now updates menu on setting options work, though no updates are shown as there is no update now.
What is the script for for? Is it of any interest of normal use or only for Devs?
Secondly on updates being available will the entire ROM get downloaded or it will only be an incremental update.
Lastly for CWM recovery users, since you have told that only TWRP us supported, please tell is where the update zip will be stored so that we may manually flash it through C also.
Lastly thanks again.

!This acts as official but is not official. The builds are downloaded from basketbuild.
This will work only if builds are uploaded to basketbuild.com.
The way the script works:
1. You give it basketbuild link ('https://basketbuild.com/devs/k2wl/cm12.1_i9192')
2. Searches .html for latest build ('https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=k2wl&dl=k2wl/cm12.1_i9192/cm-12.1-20150601-UNOFFICIAL-serranodsdd.zip')
3. Provides direct download link (''https://basketbuild.com/dl/devs?dev=k2wl&dl=k2wl/cm12.1_i9192/cm-12.1-20150601-UNOFFICIAL-serranodsdd.zip) (replaces 'filedl' in link with 'dl')
3. Searches MD5 from .html
4. Passes MD5
5. Converts date from filename to unix time to get build time (This is what tells the OTA app if it's a new update)
To get any build you like you just change first link in script.
If you upload AICP to basketbuild I can add a script for it as well and make apk for it

The server script can be used for personal use. First time I used it was on my OPENWRT router. After 2-3 week test I decided to share as it is stable.
The OTA app download entire rom. For incremental it's more complicated and and you need builds on server.
For this you need to implement a REST server. Can find more details here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2636334
The files downloaded by CMUpdated are stored in Internal Storage/cmupdater/

This script only works with basketbuild.com. But if K2WL uploads AICP on basketbuild in the future, i can make a script for it too.
Also please don't ask to implement it for Androidfilehost.com as it doesn't provide MD5. Without MD5 you can't flash OTA.

Just installed TWRP and your 1.1 mod.
Using i9195 (s4 mini LTE).
If I'll manually check for updates, Will it show the update that is specifically to my rom (F4k cm12.1) ?
Although my rom is based on latest june 3rd 2015, I see there's an update cm-12.1-20150603-unofficial , And I don't know if I should flash it because it's same date of rom i'm currently using....

Did you flash v1.1_OTA_CM12.1_F4k_serranotexx.zip ?
It shows that you have connection with the server. If there is a check mark next to the available update you can't/ don't need to download/flash as you already have the latest version. If you have something like a rectangle with an arrow, I think you flashed the zip for DUOS version.

oops....I prob. did Thank you for the explanantion.
I think I'll need to go back to an earlier rom, Since I see some functionality problems are still in Cm12.1 (Suddenly back and options front led key does not respond.....Happend to me before on cm 12/12.1 roms......
If devs would add their name in ro.cm.version in build.prop (ex. from: 12.1-20150603-UNOFFICIAL-serranodsxx to 12.1-20150603-UNOFFICIAL-serranodsxx-BioGenX) there will only be one zip needed for all devices and builds as the server would identify your device and build when you request a check for updates.

I had this problem a wile back. The way I clean install is by cleaning /system, /cache, /data and internal storage. This did fix it for me. Also if you flash an older version and use OTA to update, please post if it worked for you as maybe all the users that used this already have the latest version and I only checked it for DUOS, but there is no reason for it not to work. all i did was change the link to server and add basketbuild links for your device in to the server
I freshly installed about 20 times different roms for the past 2 weeks and even clean installed as you did,But it didn't solve it (I did most installed because of some shut down battery issues i have - But it's prob. the battery itself....)
It's ok, I'll use 10.2 for a while until cm12.1 will get some of the bugs gone.
Thank you very much Bio-G for the help you provided

OTA for androidfilehost.com
Good news!
I did some research on androidfilehost.com. It seems they provide an api for direct download and they do generate MD5.
At the time of my post the site is offline, but once it's online I can begin work on my script to support androidfilehost.com as well.
Will update until today/tomorrow OTA's all the UNOFFICIAL lollipop builds for our device if all goes well.
Cheers !
Server may be buggy/offline for today as I am working to optimize the code even more and try to implement androidfilehost.ro in the script
Cheers!

This is an All-in-one zip thread with all the modem/firmware(s) for our beloved OnePlus One.
First off, I'd like to thank @zephiK and @mr.shme. But it looks like they both have moved on to different devices. This is an up-to-date thread with all the firmwares and modems, and is constantly being updated.
Here is All-in-one zip : Click here

What all is included?
CM11 era/ ColorOS
XNPH44S (11/07/14)
XNPH33R (08/20/14)
XNPH30O (08/10/14)
XNPH25R(07/02/14) + XNPH22R (06/05/14) [same modem]
CyanogenMod 11 Snapshot M11(10/07/14): Same radio as ColorOS 09/18/14
CyanogenMod 11 Snapshot M9 (08/05/14): Same radio as XNPH30O
CyanogenMod 11 Snapshot M8 (07/09/14)
ColorOS 09/18/14: This is the same radio as the ones provided in the latest CM11 Nightlies
To get an idea of what modems are identical and what are not
For these older modems, It should also be noted that in Settings -> About Phone, all the versions are listed as MPSS.DI.2.0.1.c7-00020-M8974AAAAANPZM-1.
>But, there are indeed many differences in the binary files, they just never changed the baseband version.
You can look for the baseband version yourself by searching the following string:
4d 50 53 53 2e 44 49 2e 32 2e 30 2e 31 2e 63 37 2d 30 30 30 32 30 2d 4d 38 39 37 34 41 41 41 41 41 4e 50 5a 4d 2d 31
You will even see that the baseband version is in different lines in each binary.
So even though we don't have changelogs for it, there were definitely changes to the files.

Basically, I created this thread for those people who want to test all the firmwares present for our device and pick the one they find the most suitable for them. Because, as a user, I had to download all of them from androidfilehost and wait 8s for each download. I know it's not the most difficult task in the world, but still, it would be much easier if all of them were present in one zip. So here it is!
The zip is uploaded to Google Drive
INSTRUCTIONS
Open/extract the .zip that you just downloaded [Warning: Don't flash the whole zip file]
You'll see a list of firmwares
Flash any of the firmware in the recovery (I highly recommend @Kutep0v's TWRP 3.1.0-xx)
Voila!
OR
You can flash the firmware via Fastboot
You just unpack the zip to your fastboot folder (you need to put the device in Fastboot mode obviously) and run these commands:
Code:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
fastboot flash oppostanvbk static_nvbk.bin
For some radio(s) from CM11 era, extract the .bin file out of the .zip file and flash it by typing,
Code:
fastboot flash modem <name-of-modem>.bin
Repeat the above process till you've found the perfect firmware for your device.
Some basic information/ FAQ
What is a Firmware? What is Modem?
- Firmware is the whole package of proprietary partitions of your device, modem itself is a NON-HLOS file responsible for your device's communications over Wi-Fi, Mobile Networks and other such stuff.
So what is the difference between firmware and ROM then?
- Firmware is the responsible partition for IMEIs, the modemst partitions hold your IMEI, persist holds your Mac addresses etc.
ROM is only a combination of system.img and boot.img (kernel)
What to restore if I loose my IMEI?
- Both the modemst partitions (IMP: considering you took a backup of them before)
What is the default firmware? (default= firmware which comes with the latest CM/ LineageOS 14.1 weeklies)
- c6-00241
Which firmware am I using?
- Recommended firmware by @idprophecy works the best for me (firmware_fixed: firmware_0_1_c1_11_00006_bacon.zip)
What is "firmware_fixed.zip"?
- "firmware_fixed.zip" is just the combination of the latest h2os firmware with the previous one (since the newest doesn't have a few parts). Basically, it's just named that way.
Background
Radios are independent of Android version (just don't flash Oxygen Firmwares on any CM11/ 11S ROM, it'll most probably brick your device. Be cautious), use the radio that provides you the best signal. It varies from user to user, there is no best radio/ modem. Why? Different carriers, different locations, and more. There are so many factors that play into cellular signal so just because a particular radio is the best for someone doesn't mean its the best for you.
Interesting fact, Find7 modem works on our OnePlus One, recovery flashable zip here (Not including it in All-in-one zip since it's not for our device, officially)
Check out @Vonnegut's experiences here on modems.
Help out each other, it's a good deed!
Any suggestions? Feel free to reply in this thread.
Thank-you for reading. I would be glad if people find this helpful.

I've been using 'bacon_firmware_update_2016_1-25_.4.0.1.c7-00011'. It works the best for me, better signal and less radio drain. Although this may/ or may not work well for you. I suggest you to try all of them and stick with the one you're most satisfied with.

This is very interesting... I begin to suspect, since of some reports, that Motorola has developed an "adaptive to (different) hardware" firmware, so they have to modify a single firmware on updates...
This would be great, because this way every Griffin owner could try to use different countries firmwares and even the development of new ROMs would be faster...
But we need more confirms on this...
