Hi,
I am not able to move apps to Internal Storage card from /system. Alwasy it says can't move apps not enough storage space but I am having 900 MB left.
Having /system memory of about 65 MB
Having internal memory of about 900 MB.
Even when I have 900 MB of internal storage I can't move apps to Internal storage.
Why so? Can't I move apps to internal storage and can only be movable to External storage?
Tried Link2sd, Mount2sd and also some other apps but all waste. Also tried wipe cache but nothing happened.
I am on Stock ROM YNG1TAS1K0, Thunderzap Kernel 4.1r2 and CWM recovery.
Anyone please help.
Also tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/help/apps-writing-to-sd-card-fixed-root-t3109114 but not working.

Because there are some apps that you cant simply move to the ext partition and have to be installed on internal memory i.e. gmail, youtube and updates!
yes I know that! thank you ...but I hade all that apps when installed new rom...3days internal phone memoty was 161mb and after that installed only games (apps 2 sd always aksked me to move to sd and succesfully moved them)..on phone list apps is onlu market and 3gwatchdog...on SD apps list is everything i downloaded but still dont have 161mb ...now there is 142mb and still shrinking!!! How about now???
app2sd or similar isn't moving all app-data to sd I think

Yes,but moveSD enabler does. App2SD only ask for some app's
the "problem" is, move2sd creates a sort of "link" to the data on the SD card. Thus, when you install lets say an app of 15MB, 14MB goes to the SD card, but 1MB of data (files that can't be run of the SD card + link to SD card) stays on your internal phone memory.
So when you install lets say 100 apps, that all have 1MB of essential data and 14 MB of move-to-sd-able data your internal storage shrinks by 100MB and your SD cards' storage shrinks by 1400MB.
Its shrinking because app data is still stored on internal memory.
Please post in correct section. This has nothing to do with development.

Finally wright answer . . .
Hi,
I have a NAND ROM (EnergyROM) flashed to my EU-HD2.
In this the /data is mountet to internal Mem and /sd-ext is mountet to the ext3 partition on my SD-Card.
in /data there is a symlink app->/sd-ext/app. So i mean the internal memory is not used for installed apps because of the symlink. Apps should installed directly to SD-Card.
The total memory of /data is ~212MB
Now my question:
1) why show me the GUI an free internal memory of 99MB after install some apps, even through stored on /sd-ext/app.
Ryker
reboot teh device, check again. when u install,. it knocks the space off teh internal mem, then adds it again after a reboot.
Now, after one day, the free space is at 119MB. I have nothing changed or rebootet.
Sometimes is waiting the best resolution

Hi Iknow plenty has been said about this subject but I have completed the following but still get message not enough space:
Partitioned SDcard
Downloaded both link2sd and Titanium backup
Moved and lnked all apps to sd
LINK2SD tells me only link2sd on internal
Power tuner working
Storage info as follows
INTERNAL total 146MB! used 128MB! Free 19MB
SD card 81% free
Sd partition 98% free
System 0% free, ROM takes this
Why have I only 19MB free on internal, does not make sense:
Total internal only includes the data partition, so let's say youflash a 300 mb system partition, that leaves 212 for the boot and recovery and cache and data partitions, meaning around 190 total internal storage.
Hi guys.
I have a LG Optimus L3, original ROM, but rooted. I used Link2SD to move the applications from the 160MB system memory to the 1 GB emulated SD Card. Most of my applications are now in the "SD", but their data and cache still being saved on the 160 MB system memory, and this is making full storage warnings.
I ever installed CM9, but due to graphics problem I had to go back to the original ROM.
There are some way to move all the application, including its data and cache, to the SD card (or emulated SD)?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Xolo q700 has 4GB internal memory bifurcated as ROM+Internal Storage+Phone Storage, with Internal Storage ~1GB and Phone Storage ~2GB
Most of the time, I use SD card instead of Phone Storage and I am finding that the free Internal Storage has come down to ~60 MB. I can't install many apps because of this.
I was trying to see if we can re-partition the Internal Memory to have more Internal Storage by getting space from Phone Storage. I don't want to use Link2SD because I can't run most apps if I remove the SD card. Also don't want to keep apps data on SD card.
I came across many threads, but by far [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240954] looks the simplest.
Anyone else has done something similar to their q700/q700i?
Admin/Devs, can you help us?
Thanks,
