Hello guys, I have a D802 phone and I was on Ressurection Remix 5.0 but since the official lollipop update was made avalaible, I wanted to return to stock and unroot so I could again use my warranty(for some weird reason they couldn't tell last time I took it there that it was rooted). Basically my problem is that every guide for going back to stock has the phone connected to the PC and use the flash tool. Well, I did that but when the mobile support tool opened for the upgrade, it couldn't find my phone. So I found a guide that showed you how to extract and rebuild a kdz file into a .zip. I tried that, used the UK d8023b rom ( A friend of mine who has a d802 as well, though unrooted, got the prompt to update through the pc suite and it updated his phone to d8023b, thats why i used that version), flashed it and I am now stuck in a bootloop. I have full access of recovery and adb but the phone isn't recognised by LG software. Can you please help me use my phone again? Going into download mode didn't work with the flash tool.

Hello
I'm having troubles with my new LG Optmus L5 e610. It comes oot with 4.1.2 and the LG mod v20b.
I rooted it with the v20d_root.kdz and now i've installed an unlocked bootloader, CWR, CM10 and Gapps. I have now a problem: the IMEI inside the information menĂ¹ is empty and every SIM card is not recognized.
What should I do? I tryed going back to the stock the reflashig all, but nothing. By the way the stock ROM works fine.
Investigating around i discovered the same problem over many Samsung devices, with following solutions talking about this EFS folder that needs to be backed up. Googling around i found that LG don't need to back up this folder. Am i wrong?
EDIT:
Googling around i discovered that flashing a rom fro the v20_root may cause this issue, so it is advised to downgrade to the v10. But how i do it without making the kdz flasher give me errors? And which one of the v10 kdz i have to flash?
Hello,
You must install v10 baseband.I'n on mobile now and u can't help you but serch on google for it.

I can get into download mode, but have a secure boot error and cant use ADB or fastboot. I've been reading every thread I can find.
I tried the LG tool, it never downloads the firmware, just hangs at 12%. Tried different drivers etc. Let it run overnight just in case it was a slow download - nada.
Tried the LG tool by entering the imei number first, but the tool reports a low battery and won't load the firmware. Phone is fully charged, i assume that battery level reporting is not working correctly.
Tried to load the kdz with the R&D tool, it errors out at 49%.
Tried to do the offline process with shttp from the unbrick any phone thread. It uses an older version of the LG tool and won't recognize that the phone is plugged in. If i install the newer tool that sees the phone, the process crashes the tool.
it all started when i tried to flash twrp and used the one for a different model g2. Dumb, I know. this is my first time soft-bricking a device.
Can anyone please point me in another direction?
UPDATE: phone was reporting that it was an 802. Downloaded and flashed an 802 kdz file and the phone booted! First time it was able to get past 49%. Nothing really works on the phone, but now i'm able to use the LG Mobile support tool to flash the correct firmware. The program is downloading the sofware now.
When you say LG tool I'm assuming you're talking about the official program you can download from their site?
I have the Verizon G2 and promptly erased everything on it the first night I got it.. Don't flash / wipe files at 4 AM when you've been up all day and night.
Anyway this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 really saved my rear. Maybe the T-Mobile version will work to get yours back to stock.

works at the start and hangs at 49%. There is one bit that needs to be switched and this would work.
okay, looks like the phone is reporting that it is a d802 from my first f'd up flash. I think this may be causing the problems with flashing the 801 kdz.
Can i flash an 802 kdz onto an 801? then possibly later go back to 801?
Hi Friends,
I am new to this Forum and Android as well. I recently bought unlocked LG G2 32 GB in India. It was:
Model - D802
Android version - 4.4.2
Software version D80220b
As it's wifi reception and network reception was not good, I thought of installing the ROM again. The biggest mistake that I did not install any recovery and didn't even rooted my device. I checked with root checker and it showed that your device is not rooted. Then I follow the method given on below link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
I took the firmware file named "India 32GB D80210C_00.kdz" and select type as "3GQCT" and performed the Normal Flash. It went well but after it booted up, my touch screen calibration was totally lost. I connected mouse using USB OTG cable and calibrated the device but it didn't work out. Calibration still seemed gone.
After all try, I couldn't do much and read of TOT method to go back on Jelly Bean. I did that as well using "BIN_LGD802AT-00-V10b-SEA-XX-SEP-04-2013-32G+0.exe" from which I extracted the TOT file and performed the flashing again by coming in "Download mode".
After that my phone is in boot loop and same issue of lost screen calibration. If I try to go into recovery it gives me option only to factory reset the phone which does not help out at all. I guess it's because i didn't root my phone and didn't even installed any recovery.
I know I have done a lot of mess with no knowledge but please help me out as its my new phone and I have hardly used it for 1 month and it's not even under warranty.
Thanks.

There might have been a problem with the firmware that you used and the flash method. Use this to find your firmware and pick cse flash this might solve it.
I searched the firmware in your given link by my IMEI number, but I have a problem. After I click on "Upgrade start" in "Normal web test upgrade", it does not give me country select option. Instead it open LG Mobile support tool which just keeps on showing "Waiting for Connection".
If I click start upgrade without selecting "normal web upgrade test", it gives me country selection window.
What should I do? Can I directly click on "Start upgrade" ?

OP I have the same problem, see my recent posts. Let me know if you found a fix.
I have only used stock roms on this phone. I originally upgraded my phone from a UK carphone warehouse rom 6.1 (B2017G UKV1.0.0B01)? I think?? That was a few years ago and upgraded to Nougat using the methods used in this forum.
I found that the wifi would sometimes disappear from the phone and you would have to reboot the phone to get wifi working again. That is ok but after about 3 times of having to do this over a period of a few months it would go again BUT then would then need a factory reset to get the wifi going again! After a year of doing three factory resets
i tried to revert to the older MM 6.1.
I used a ROM that i downloaded from here when i first done upgraded
anyhow i placed ROM in SD and proceeded with the downgrade it went fine up to 81% then got stuck then i restarted the phone again and it got stuck again, so i tried to flash from the SD in recovery mode instead and it says "sorry you can`t sdcard upgrade" so i then pressed reboot system and then it just hangs a the logo.!!
I have rooted phones in the past my last was an LGG2, and a brilliant tool was available so you could flash any stock rom back onto the phone if you had any trouble with custom or stock roms. but there does not seem to be any such tool from ZTE.
If you can help in any way?, i would be delighted!!
THANKS!!
(Soz if i posted in wrong area!)
I got the phone booted through EDL and EDL tool & backup files provided by this site. It took me a while to find all the info i needed.
Also renaming the files from boot to boot.img etc in the edl folder took a bit to work out as the tool kept telling me the files were insufficient!
All good now managed to downgrade to 6.1 UK ...Thanks XDA!!
I have an H872 on Havoc 4.4. I have upgraded to a Pixel and will be giving the H872 to my father-in-law. He will only be using it for phone calls - very unlikely he will text, and definitely won't use data. It will also be his first smart phone. Since the H872 is rooted, when it boots up it gives the warning display that the phone may be "Corrupted". I don't want to have to explain all that "root" stuff to him, etc... I want the phone as basic and simple as can be, hence , I want to reflash the stock firmware.
I am having troubles though. Booting the phone into download mode and starting LGUP fails to recognize the phone. I've tried with Uppercut as well and it says I'm missing a file in Apps/Roaming, etc...
Not sure the problem because I have reflashed stock many times with LGUP. Could it be that Havoc has changed the "identity" of the phone, or that it's on Android 11?
Any help to get this back to stock is much appreciated!
Got it figured out. Flashed back to an older TWRP (was on Orange Fox), flashed an old stock Oreo ROM, and then was able to flash kdz with LGUP.
