[Q] (SOLVED) Home and notification panel not working

I tried installing this mod:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789666&page=97
But my phone got a bootloop, so i flashed the stock firmware 4.4.2 Gt-i9505 via odin and it worked..sort of.
Now the home button, notification center, the settings icon in the pulldown menu, the button next to it,my lockscreen and long pressing the wifi to the multiwindow button doesn't work. Power menu only contains reboot and power off, used to have airplane mode and volume buttons.
Menu, back, volume keys and power button are working. And home button wakes the screen if its of.
Please help :crying::crying::crying:
PS I don't like to do a full wipe
Also tried replacing framework-res.apk with another one, another bootloop, so reflashed the same rom again.
Do a full wipe
There is nothing like I dont want to

So, I guess question solved.

[Q] Back, Menu ja Power keys not working

I was trying to get the menu key to work as app switcher (did it) and was trying to find out a way to have menu key long press act as menu. At some point the menu, back and power keys stopped working. I did have backup of the Generic.kl and I restored the original but the keys still aren't working (I've rebooted twice). Any ideas what to do other than reflash the phone and pop the knox?
EDIT: I copied the original build.prop and Generic.kl from backup and now the phone doesn't go past the first Galaxy S4 screen. It does boot to recovery when I remove sim-card but I'm not keen on losing my warranty yet so I think I have to take it to the shop :/

Lost home touch buttons

Hi. Well, I have screwed up my phone. I'm on the VS980. I went into the verizon hidden menu to fix my iffy knock on ( knock off good). I already did the update touch firmware thing but knock on still iffy. I had read doing an aat partial test helped someone so I went through the hidden menu looking for that option. I remember tapping device test( which asked me to reboot), elt test, settings, and enable/disable under the knock on option. I lost the home touch buttons after that. There is no option for home touch in the settings menu anymore. I have restored nandroid, wiped dalvik, system, data, cache and reinstalled Optimus rom, and I restored an old backup of Home. But the home touch buttons never come back. Help!!?
Yes, I solved the problem!! It's a Christmas miracle. I clean installed CloudyStock. The phone booted into the home screen then went directly to the AAT test. I held down the power button while choosing the normal boot option in service menu. The new install wizard opened up after reboot with the option for the home touch buttons back. :good: So I guess I was stuck in the hidden menu. I went on to clean install my usual rom. So happy now!

Back button softkey broken after Odin flash

Has this ever happened to anybody before?
I performed a clean flash of N900W8VLU2DOD1 through Odin (pulled battery, booted straight into Download mode).
The menu softkey works, but seems to register as hitting/long pressing the menu button, so S Finder opens.
The Back button does not respond to touch, but will light up when the Menu button is pressed.
All of my softkeys are working just fine when I am running a custom Touchwiz ROM, or Temasek's CM12.1...
Does anybody know how to fix this?!

Knock on not working after "Device test" in hidden menu [D802]

It's been always like that.
Whenever I press "Device test" in the hidden menu, the device gets semi-stuck (not really.. because when I press the home button it exits) and I lose my knock on (both when screen on and off).
I forgot about it and pressed on it again.
My last nandroid backup is pretty old...
What should I try?
Ofc I tried the hidden menu touch firmware upgrade.. Didn't work.
CloudyG3 2.0 + Dorimanx 9.5
I know its such a common question that had already became annoying to answer, but please. I would really appriciate it.
To what is the knock on feature related to?
I tried flashing a newer Dorimanx kernel, it didn't work.
Knockcode works fine.
Even the G3tweakbox "doubletap the navbar to lock" works.
What should I try next to make the KnockOn work?
Might it be off for some reason? Where can I find it to turn it on if so? I searced all the menus and did a web search. I dont have it under "gestures".
