Hello guys,
Question, I remembered that on my G1, anything I downloaded went straight to my SD card. I would assume because there was no internal storage.
But on the Vibrant it saves it to the download folder in the internal storage. Is there a way to save media downloaded from my phone to the external SD? For example, pics attached to emails are automatically saved to the internal storage.

i installed Android version 2.2 everything working fine except internal memory i can't use internal memory in settings its show Available internal storage space 614MB.when i transfer any photos r mp3 via blue-tooth it asking memory card. where is my internal memory gone

My Problem is there are some folders and files are on Internal storage which are not geting deleted, if i do hard reset and reboot my phone i can have all those folders and files are back, even i have attached my phone with Mini Partition Tool and format with 0 level but still files and folder same on internal memory even if i add any Memory card it won't mount and can not acessable from any file manager, even if i copied to internal memory it copied successfully but again when i check with file manager or reconnet to PC and check my copied files are not there on internal memory
i want to format my phone with all data loss on my internal memory and install stock or other CWM based ROM
please help me out i am in big critical condition.
What files/folders are those exactly that won't get deleted?
have you tried to format from android?
And depend of which folders, there are some special folders that the system will recreate after delete..

there 5 to 6 folders

and some indian people name and songs in it.
Okay, well that is really weird. Is that on internal storage or on the external SD card? Try formating both to be sure, preferrably in the phone itself.

its on internal storage, and when ever i try to use memory card it won't mount and invisible on phone and pc
i have try to format internal momory from phone, internal memory format successfully but again in few second all files and folder back
Hi, friends please can anyone guide me how can I swap internal and external storage on YU. Currently all the data like games data, WhatsApp data are saved in internal memory and are lost with phone format.
u can take backup of the obbs & other data via MTP. If rooted, use titanium backup to save game & apps data of the current state which u can later restore after formatting. Save the backups on ext. SDcard or a PC for safety reasons.
Honestly, i have no idea, whether u can swap internal & external storage.

You can try this app (requires root access)
Root External to Internal

Works on Samsung devices, haven't tried it on Yureka yet.
Look for the port number of mmc in settings.
Fill up proper paths for swapping (use root explorer for finding paths)
& swap it.
If it works fine, then only tick on [on boot] option.

I have formated the SD Card as internal storage
The storage settings showns me that the "device storage" (don't know the exact english wording, have a german phone) has 2 parts... Internal Storage & SD-Card
This looks great... But the phone is just using the internal storage. So Pictures, Whatsapp, Apps, etc. will be stored there instead of at the als internal formated SD-Card. The result is a storage warning that my phone is while the SD-Card is empty.
So what do I have to do to get the phone storing everything on the internal SD-Card?
