Proximity sensor..prob during call

Hi guys..the above prob does not happen when during the call i use the slide dialpad..at that time screen gets locked!!
Is any settings that i have to change?

It keeps your face from inadvertently pressing the cancel/end call button. To unlock screen during call, double tap screen.

But when i dont use the slide dialpad the proximity sensor doesnt work..thats the problem..

Check the Android Dev section of this forum you might find some answers there... or...
Try flashing your phone again.
I'm not an expert so that's all I can tell you. Maybe others have better solutions.

I read other threads too..some guy is doing some kind of a experimnt..
Can u confirm if u r facing the same issue or not?

Got a task killer? If so, remove it and see what it does. Had something similar happen.

First step is to see if your proximity sensor works at all...
Go to the lock screen and press:
Menu Back Menu Back Back Menu Back Menu Menu Back
Find the proximity sensor test and press your finger against the phone just above the screen.

urgent help needed phone dialer contacts and s memo icon vanisded

i messed up something after installing aplication sorter and now my phone icon , contact icon and rest are missing from home screen only application shortcut is there
can anyone help me

First off, if you go to applications, can you see your dialer/phone app, contacts etc. listed?
If not, when you receive a call or make a call from shortcut in browser etc, does that open the call window or fc?

Great, glad you got it back. I did have same issue (I think) when trying a 3rd party dialer, and the only resurrection was to factory restore, but it's a pretty extreme solution.

[BUG] Google dialer

Bug in google dialer - white/blank screen after first click number pad. After second click it is OK... (build with Android 4.4.3).
11.jpg - first click.
22.jpg - second click (after back button).
That issue is in my phone from timeee ago (from 4.3). Fresh install ROM (with super/hiper full wipe). Before sync with google is OK, but after sync it is NOT OK.

I've found solution for that - change animator duration scale to 0.5 (do not turn it off).
After switch it OFF problem with google dialer apears.
Do You confirm that?

[Q] How to disable proximity sensor during calls?

Little question i have is can i disable the proximity sensor during calls because ive got a slight crack over it so it always thinks something is on it, leaving my screen black with me unable to do anything with the phone . ive checked in setting but cant find an option like that.
Rom: Resurrection Lollipop v5.4.5
The only roms that work properly for this is TW roms because i can press the home button and the screen comes alive.

In stock rom it's under: Settings --> my device --> call --> turn off screen during call
Don't know about resurection rom though :/

Screen getting off while using mobile

I recently updated my mobile to official update 5.1.1. It has been 1 month on 5.1.1 . When i use my device, the screen suddenly goes off for 5 secs (approx.) and lock is applied on it. And the wallpaper also changed to default. And i have to reopen my lock screen again again. Please give a favourable reply.

Listen bro u just simply first delete some heavy apps . It will work
If not then reset the phone . And installed only needed apps

Hey I have got a solution for this . Go to your device settings and then Privacy. Then go to privacy guard. There are three dots on upper right corner. CLICK ON THAT AND SELECT SHOW BUILT IN APPS. Now search for Google play services and hold on Google play services. Scroll downside and search for auto start and keep awake. Turn them off. But keep sure that (keep awake ) is enabled.
