Band usage effect on battery life - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i have searched for this alot online and havent found a clear answer. i am stuck between the two note 4 models (N910F and N910C). i have heard some rumors that if your phone doesnt support all the cell bands in your country it can result in battery drain. in my country (greece) the officially supported version is N910F (with the snapdragon) but i havent found which specific bands it supports. i know it will work cause some stores import it independantly and people have bought it but even if the difference will be 1 hour SoT i would like to know it. my countrys cell bands are 900, 1800 and 2100 Mhz. does anyone know which bands each model uses and whether picking the "wrong one" for my countrys network will result in a heaviest battery drain?

They have the same bands....

They support the same bands, the diff. is that the N910F supports Cat.6 LTE (300mbps download) while the N910C supports Cat.4 LTE (150mbps download).

Waste of a post .... None of the galaxy notes released worldwide has NFC or 4glte support.. so the Indian version won't have it too
This has already been discussed. Asian/European Editions will not have it.
The American model is said to not have it (or have an optional method to add on).
However as of now , I believe Asia-Europe were quoted not to have it since there was no real usage.
USA has around 20,000 shops or so to support it. Which honestly is not much.
Perhaps in Samsung Galaxy Note Plus ;-)

LTE: Snapdragon can work with every Band doesn't matter Model/Zone - tested

Few days ago i ask help for enable LTE on a G900L (korean) specific baseband in my zone Europe (italy)
Someone answer about an hardware frequency limit for specific geographic zone.
Well as i suppose every qualcomm snapdragon chip mount the same LTE modem and can connect to every LTE band if unlocked.
So that there is just a software limitation not hardware.
I did right after a lot of try i found a way for make my phone G900L able to connect on italian LTE frequency. This also mean every model with a qualcomm snapdragon are able to connect on LTE in every zone
Attach some screenshot of my device as proof: last one (debug menu LTE) show witch band im using (band 3 1800 Mhz italy) instead of band 5 (850 Mhz) and band 1 (2100 Mhz LG U+ provider)

[Q] D802 in South Korea, No LTE on KT

Hello everyone, I got a problem to ask. I've been visiting XDA ever since I use Galaxy ACE, so rooting, custom roms, etc. aren't a problem to me, but I'm NOT a developer.
I originally live in a country where there is no LTE and I'm now living in Korea for about 5 months, so this is the first time I got excited about experiencing LTE speed.
However, things didn't go well as I can't connect to the RAT: LTE network at all (it's connecting all well to WCDMA/GSM). I've been changing roms, trying several basebands, and editing build.prop (which soft-bricked my beast several days ago) and it's really frustrating. If I asked whether my SIM is LTE supported or not, I've got the "LTE WARP" edition or something-SIM, KT, prepaid. I didn't ask the details, though. I also searched beforehand which bands are provided by KT, which are 900 MHz (Band 8), and 1800 MHz (Band 3). Both are supported by D802.

Thank you,
shpend
Yes: your phone supports 4G/LTE
1. Do you have an U-SIM
2. Do you have 4G/LTE activated for your subscription
3. Do you have 4G/LTE coverage
4. Does your network support 4G/LTE

Hi,guys,I am user of RN4X 2016101 version and I recently found that some of Users of Indian redmi 3s(B3/B5/B40) version had successfully unlocked the Band 1 FDD2100 yet.so will it be possible band 1 and band 41/38 for Indian 2016100 variant as all of them had the same NV calibration parameters?

For band 4,up 1710-1780 ,down 2110-2180 covers by the Band 1 range,so it's possible for hardware to support that with B1/B3 band channel.
for band 1 ,i dont think factory willing to re-design the B1/B3/B7 classical triple band hardware design with different PAM and LNA used.
for band 41,in redmi note 3 global the PA and LNA for Band 41 was reduced although it's possible to receive very strong signal from the BS station(put your phone on the antenna),but due to lack of PA,PUSCH was limited to QPSK,so for RN4,just have try~
And DO NOT ask me about band 20,DD800 need specific hardware duplex that may be reduced for the costs,it's only availiable on the 2016102 GLobal version.
So,detailed guides should be there.
