Make a nandroid backup of the latest Firmware from your friend's device and Restore it.
If you get error than in advance restore restore everything except the 'boot' ie the first option in advance restore.
PS - The following steps are for CWM
For deodex just Google it.
Please use the search box before making threads
As per ur request..
Search for "samsung galaxy y stock odin packages"
Ull get to the thread with stockroms of all regions....

Trying to reset my rooted galaxy s3 neo gt i9301i to factory state and i need a stock revovery.I downloaded my firmware also extracted the recovery.img into desktop then tried to flash it to odin via pda but nothing happens....Can someone give a download link to their stock room similar to my model??(using cwm atm)

Yes, im aware of sammobile but it has a speed limit of 15kbps. Can someone please who has a premium account upload it on drive n send in a link?(note 3 sm-n900 india) I'd be really thankful to you.
