It's an rdf file. It's a file that describes the roms that have been built for testing purposes. It's not something we can use, but it does tell us that there is currently a new rom for our phone under development.

When I updated to 5.0.1, the bluetooth streaming audio started to hickup every couple minutes when streaming from any audio app. I've wiped and done a clean reinstall but it still glitches. It didn't happen under any older rom so I'm assuming it's a bug in OB7.

@poit It was good to have ya in the s3 forums. Glad to see you on the Note 4 realm.
Its probably just an update to enable the samsung factory reset protection feature. There was an update that came out last week for the S5 that did the same thing.

Just looked at the RDF and it's identified as "SoftwareNumberN910PVPU2COE3" so it's definitely newer than OE1.

Cant really tell from looking at the RDF. I'm guessing it just cut and paste, often it lists old information and old versions. It does mean they are working on a new rom.

Invites went out today. Finally, we're getting an official Jelly Bean update 10 months after WiFi. If anyone is participating in the soak test, could you pull the OTA URL? I wonder if this will be JZO54K like WiFi or if it'll be a newer build of 4.1.2. I guess we'll see!
Thanks!

This is excellent news of course, despite being ridiculously late arriving.
I have been running the leaked Motorola 4.1.1 JRO03H build since it dropped last June so I certainly hope its a newer build than that one.
It's actually quite stable despite some annoyances like limiting write access to the sdcard and keyboard misbehavior persisting.
The radios perform very well in this build so it will be interesting to see what changes, if any, appear assuming a new baseband is included.
How do you capture the URL?
I think it's a shame google stopped supporting the xoom. A google experience device and for a long time, the baby of android, always getting the OS updates first. Now it's just the red headed stepchild to the nexus 7 and 10. I would love to see google give us official 4.3 but that probably won't happen. If they did though, it would be really good PR and xoomers would rejoice.

When you get the OTA notification, but before applying the update, run adb logcat and output it to a text file. It'll be in there. The URL will be something like this: http://android.clients.google.com/p...signed-trygon-JZO54K-from-IMM76L.abcdef12.zip
Thanks!

There's no discussion. It'll be newer. It'll either be JZO54K like Wi-Fi or a newer build of 4.1.2 that we haven't seen yet (unlikely). I'm sure there will at least be a new CDMA baseband if not a new LTE baseband as well. I say this because the original leaker of that 4.1.1/JRO03H build had a newer CDMA baseband in his screenshot that no one had ever seen before (03.1A.66SP), but his LTE baseband was the same as the IMM76L ICS build.
Speaking of that leaked 4.1.1/JRO03H build, it looks like it was just the Wi-Fi build with the LTE drivers dropped in for testing.
The leaker claimed that Verizon had signed off on it but I don't buy it for two reasons. First, it was never released. Second, that build has a major DRM bug. Google Play Movies won't stream content when using that build because either the DRM keys are hosed or the build itself has something turned on that makes the app think the ROM is rooted.
As for how he got it, he said his own Xoom had the build installed by Motorola development. That much I do believe due to the fact that he had a CDMA baseband that no one else had ever seen.

Nope, your bootloader can remain unlocked. As long as you're running the stock ICS 4.0.4/IMM76L firmware, you'll get the update when they finally do roll the soak test out. Do you know how to pull an update URL, or do you need me to provide you some quick steps?

You have any proof of this??
From what I read on the VZW website:
"The Nexus 6 by Motorola will be available for ordering on the nation’s largest and most reliable 4G LTE network starting March 12 online and will be in stores starting March 19."
I thought that was to be expected?

I'm not allowed to take pictures of emails from the company, but if you check Android Central, I'm well respected and reliable for all info I have given. You don't have to believe me, but tomorrow is the 12th, So let's see what happens.
I wonder if that has to do with the issues of not being able to release 5.1 to nexus 6 users yet? I saw on another thread possible licensing issues with binaries could be the reason we do not have 5.1. This very well could be the phones delay if this is true.

It's not that I don't believe you - I'm saying the post saying it was available says it's not available until the 19th (but that it can be ORDERED on the 12th)... I'm confused on what is different between what you are saying and what the VZW update page has said all day.

AOSP is available, not a "stock" image. What is shipped with the N6 is definitely not AOSP.
We should still be able to order it online tomorrow. Obviously its gonna be available on the 19th in stores. They wouldn't make an announcement and just delay it again. Plus sprint is rolling out 5.1 today according to Androidpolice
As of right now, it's says it won't be available to order online tomorrow. The 19th is still an option for all channels.

Everything that google adds. In this case, all of the gapps as well as the blobs that get updated with the hardware. Also, whatever it is that makes voice detection when device is sleeping (even though that's listed as a function of AOSP). Nexus devices are more "stock Google" than "stock Android".
It is listed on the site now to purchase. It shows will ship by date of 3-18-15.

There was an April Security Patch Update as well. Since no one else can confirm a May Patch, it is most likely you gotten the April Patch within the recent download.
However please don't assume anything, because your post could mislead others to think there is a May Patch that they are not getting and will waste time looking for one because your post "assumed" that there is one out in the wild. Don't take it personal, there are a lot of other posts that don't provide any usable information either.

I got the notice but have not installed it yet.
I installed it earlier after seeing many on another site that did so. it's a little bit over 100 megabytes so it's probably not much more that the actual security update.
September Security Update haven't seen anything else yet.

You know what? I'm not sure now. I could've sworn I read an article saying there was, now the only reference I find is for T-Mobile S7's getting a performance update.
I was on rooted stock PI2 and accidentally said OK to the OTA and it sent my phone into bootloop. Had to start from scratch.
