And much more slower. I upgraded a friend's S4 to official lollipo last night. My god, was it laggy
@OP: You could also try a GPE rom. It was, for me, far more stablw than CM and faster than stock. Best of both worlds

Why not just flash a good custom rom on your wife's phone instead of a highly experimental?

Thank you, let me give that one a try. There aren't that many simple, clean, custom TW rom out there it seems. VirginROM might be my next stop.
hey guys, i wanna ask, i have a custom KK rom now, if i flash stock lollipop, then root and flash custom KK or lollipop rom, will i get the IMEI issues??
THANKS
Normally no.
But why would you flash stock, root, and re-flash custom roms?

The stock is not better because the custom roms are based on the stock.....that is if they are tw based.

Have you tried the GPE roms? It has been the most stable and hassle free rom I used so far.
Or try CM12.1. I use it currently in combination with Ktoonsez 5.1 kernel and it works with no problems. Also it is a lot smoother than 5.0.1

i have the i9500 variant, so GBE roms wont work, and CM12 or CM12.1 are good, but battery life is horrible, and the camera is s***....i tried cm12 couple weeks ago, its smooth enough but the camera i not good, AOSP roms have bad cameras....

So now that the Lollipop OTA has FINALLY been released for the SM-N900V, anyone have an idea how long until we can see a rooted version or a stable ROM?
I'd like just a stock rooted ROM like the one found in this thread:

Awesome man! What is the name of your ROM? Also, how will the kernel update / etc work? I take it I won't be able to use Safestrap for the ROM, and will probably lose any ability to go back 4.4 ROMs, correct?

DUDE!! I found that just before you sent this. SOOOOOOO EXCITING MAN!!!!!
I can't wait for multisystem. Could you tell me if FoxFi works in LP on the Samsung ROM?
IDK if it will or not. Also, I like all the little tweaks I can do with xposed, but there's no installing that for a while..... or bootloop city... and loss of ROOT!!! AAAHHHH!

Hello. What is the best ROM for S10+ Exynos SM-G975F? Please answer
Not sure, I have a snap dragon. Everyone seems to like Lineage OS though.
Stock ROM is the best ROM.
Stock rooted rom
If you are rooted I'd recommend Hades Rom. Otherwise don't root
