So I accidentally deleted my stock rom for my T-Mobile G2. Im running ParanoidAndroid just fine, but there are a few occasions when a quick restore to stock from TWRP is helpful. Does anyone have a TWRP flashable stock ROM? Id much rather not have to do the whole firmware restore and all that.
Thanks!
Hi there
I have a lg g2 802 from the UK. I upgraded to stock 4.4.2 OTA and then installed paranoid android ROM. I made a nandroid backup before this.
I now want to go back to stock. What is the best way? Can I just restore my backup from recovery?
Any advice appreciated!
Thanks!
i'm in lollipop stock and i would like to return to stock kitkat or cloudy g2, how should i do it? do i have to flash JB bootloader? waht else? i have a D806 variant.
Sorry if this is the wrong section but I'm new to this forum. I previously installed Cloudy 3.3, and then I installed MIUI7: to do it I did a backup of my whole rom and then flashed the KitKat baseband. If I want to flash a Lollipop rom, do I have to flash the Lollipop baseband? Or can i just restore my Cloudy rom?
You can restore Cloudy, it uses Kitkat kernel.
Okay, but let's pretend I wanted to install a Lollipop rom (like Cyanogenmod 12): can I keep the kitkat baseband or do I have to change it?
I am planning to revert my d800 G2 (running cloudyg2 3.3) back to stock lollipop to sell it. I tried this with another G2 and when I reverted to stock KitKat and took the lollipop OTA, the OTA bricked my phone. So obviously I'd like to avoid that this time. Do I need to flash a stock bootstack before reverting to stock or does flashing the tot revert everything anyway? Also I was coming from cm12 when the other G2 bricked, could that make a difference? Thanks guys!
If you revert to kitkat, stock bootstack must be flashed!
If u will flash tot then no need to flash any thing
