What is most appropriate method to invite developers to my Google dev console account and to market their products in a successive manner?
I am so much interested in android marketing.

Inspired by the fellow member on the wpcentral forum, I have started the online petitions to force the top developers to review their position on Windows Phone Platforms and consider bring their popular iOS and Android applications to the Windows Phone Platform.

Please support and spread the word on these petitions. If you would like to request an App and the Developer added to this petition, please review this post and post your preference. I will work with the post owner to gather your requests and post to the petition.
Here is the direct link to post your App requests.
Windows Phone 8 has the momentum at this time and only way we can force the developers to reconsider their position is talking to them directly and show that there is a good user base who will use their apps on WP platform. The petitions expire January 28.
Thanks everyone for your support.
Ahahaha this is the stupidiest thing I've ever seen in ages

You'll do better to petition microsoft to release sales numbers, and present that information to develoers as a possible user base. As is now, there are no official sales numbers, leading devs to believe sales are very weak. If/when microsoft posts a positive forecast, you'll get your apps. Until then, its pissing in the wind.

Sent from the fetal position using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
It would also be better to ask current devs invested in the platform to increase the quality of apps
Nonetheless I'll support

Zoltán Balogh, developer at Canonical, confirmed in an open email on Wednesday that the discussion about APIs was underway, and invited anyone interested in QML to participate. “Clearly a productive collaboration between communities and companies would be something revolutionary,” he wrote.
The proposed cooperation attempts to not only simplify UI development, but establish long-term links between Canonical, Jolla and KDE staff. “There are also discussions underway regarding other aspects of the bigger puzzle such as common package formats and delivery strategies,” wrote Aaron Seigo from KDE on his blog.
“We are poised, should we keep our heads straight and our feet moving, to evolve that holiest of grails in the mobile space: an open and vendor neutral application development strategy built around the commonality of QtQuick and Linux,” he added.

Hello XDA Developers Forum,
I'm new to this forum and will be glad to answer any questions you might have about Airpush.
Here is an announcement from Airpush. We are proud to announce that Airpush has acquired Hubbl, a leader in mobile native advertising. Our combined company will be the most profitable and accessible native advertising tool available to mainstream developers, and both TechCrunch and VentureBeat have taken note with articles they recently published.
For more information visit Airpush.com or private message me here.

UPDATE: Somebody just pointed me to a Jolla website that does what I had suggested here (sorry, I am not allowed to post URLs, yet):

Original post:
I am convinced that actively listening to customers is a key factor for a company's success. I love Jolla and want them to succeed. That is why I hope this suggestion will be heard.
What is needed is basically a public Scrum product backlog. This is a proven and useful tool in software development to make the most out of the available resources. But instead of using a product backlog internally only, it should be used as a public tool to find out what customers really want.
Main features:
There must be only one wish list and Jolla must support it officially. It would best ship with the Sailfish OS itself as a (removable) app or a link to a web application.
Registered users can post requests and vote for items on the list. Jolla developers try to work on the top items with priority. The wish list would also be a great source for 3rd parties who want to know what native apps or "other halves" are most wanted.
Bugs and requests for new features must go on the same list. The only thing that counts is whether customers demand it or not.
Human moderators are required to make sure that all requests on the wish list are unique, clear and tagged with the correct keywords. Rather than creating multiple similar items, it must be possible for users to add variations, comments or additions to existing items. Jolla could probably even find volunteer moderators in the community.
No language fragmentation: English as the main language, users may contribute translations to any number of languages.
No region fragmentation: Should Sailfish have more installations in China than elsewhere, then the Chinese wishes are served first. We trust in our Jolla friends from Asia
I think Jolla has the potential to become the best mobile OS. But I think they will depend on the help of a patient and friendly community. A customer-driven product backlog would practically guarantee that Sailfish evolves in the right direction and in the fastest possible way.
:highfive: If somebody has contacts to Jolla employees: Could you please call their attention to this idea? :highfive:
maybe you can: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=91721

Have you heard the news?
The e foundation, "" (according to https://e.foundation/):
/e/ is a non-profit project, in the public interest. We build open-source mobile operating systems that respect users’ data privacy. We’re an international core team of experienced entrepreneurs, developers and designers, with a growing community of contributors. ""
Has released their first beta of /e/ Rom for a few devices AND KIWI is one of them :victory: :victory::victory:
They have aimed at:
* Being free from Google (no Google services, no Google search, no Google Play store, etc.)
* Being far more respectful of user’s data privacy
* Being attractive enough so that Mom and Dad, children and friends would enjoy using it even if they aren’t technophiles or geeks
Their website stated that they welcome developers and are looking for enthusiastic people who can contribute to the project.
So Download and enjoy the awesome ROM and (if interested/capable) join the project, this seems to be an extremely promising project.
I hereby Thank the developers for caring about people's privacy and I wish them all the best in the world. :good:
