Hello people,
I have a problem. My bottle with proteine shake opened in my bag and my Note 4 was drowning into it for 30 mins or so. It had a case and everything is clean except that the volume down buttons hangs as soon as I press it once. The clickyness is also gone.
What can I do?
Kind regards ,

Hello all,
I've searched and can't seem to find anything on this.
My Nexus 4 seems to have some kind of glitch (or some kind of feature that I'm just not understanding). Normally I hold my volume button down to get to vibrate/silent. Now when I try to do that, it goes down to the first length but won't drop to vibrate. It simply won't let me. In addition, the phone's volume is really low, and google voice command doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong here? Or is there something wrong with my phone? Maybe some app is screwing with my volume?
hold power button to go silent/vibrate
Happened once on my roommate's. You have an app open that is also controlling the volume and won't let you turn it down. Force stop this app or reboot.

Ugh that's it. Problem went away as soon as I force-stopped the Netflix app. It's a wonderful concept but it's kind of a POS app.
On rooted stock, nova, and bloat disabled. TW Home disabled. Otterbox Defender. When I press the volume buttons it takes maybe 3 to 5 seconds before the volume will adjust. The volume display box will appear and the slider will not move until after maybe 3 to 5 seconds if the box does not time out. I will try to get a video. It is not just a lag it is just slow to respond.
Does anyone else have similar issues with the volume control? Know any fixes?

I have also just realized that sometimes when I do adjust the volume the volume adjusts then maybe 30 seconds later the dialog shows and will show the sliding then stay for another minute. Annoying. Anyone else have the issue? Maybe... The only lag on my phone.

Something strange is going on with my N4, every time I try to open my settings it just closes it again almost instantly. Also I've noticed that if I turn off wifi it turns itself back on straight away and then it goes into silent mode for a second (speaker symbol with dash through it) then back to full volume. I've tried restarting it and uninstalling recent apps. I am thinking about doing a factory reset but don't want to if I can help it... But I can't anyway because I can't get into settings! Nothing shows up in virus scans. Screen briefly flashes black regularly too. Any suggestions please? Thanks.

Try going to safe mode by press and holding the power button which will take you to the power menu, press and hold power off option and then you will get a safe mode popup, press Ok and after a reboot check if the settings open.

I can get the settings to stay open in safe mode but still same problem when I restart it again...

I put it on charging and when I woke up in the morning it won't turn on and was a little warm on back...
it's been more than 6 hours and its still nit turning on
EDIT: it still gets warm from back when I put on charging but screen remains off
just found out it was on the whole time but screen is off and I only hear touch sound when I press on the lower side of screen as if keyboard was on
Edit:it's working all fine but screen is off I can hear sounds I can unclock too
ALL I KNOW IS THAT ITS CAUSED BY MAGNET COVER OF MINE
Have you tried holding the power button for 20-30 seconds?

Hello,
Only had the phone a day and I don't know if it's just me but I've noticed that when I use the S-View case with my Note, if I am on a call the loudspeaker button doesn't actually put it on loudspeaker. It doesn't really matter in one way as i can open the cover and press the button but it's a shame it doesn't seem to work.
Is it just me.... what are other people's experience of it ?
I'm on Kit Kat.
