I just got my MX4 today, of course rooted it, and I can't find a custom recovery for this device.
Do you guys managed to install a custom recovery yet, or do some flashing?

Tudorlv, we not have any costum rom yet because meizu team not released the sources for flyme and kernel.
We can't unlock it and install any custom rom on it, and CWM.
Maybe one day they will release the sources.
There are one pepition on internet.

It is a recovery emulator. It simply translates Edify into Bash script.
Is the same as if you execute a script in a terminal emulator

I'm kind of dissapointed of the low activity here on XDA about the MX4 considerind it's a really great device, very well balanced (coming from an HTC M9)
Anyway, here is what I managed so far, working perfectly:
1. Nova launcher
2. Xposed, with:
- Amplify
- App Settings (mostly for immersive mode)
- Battery Stats Plus
- Enable Battery Stats
- Flyme tools, of course
- Greenify
- Immerse Me (disabled in xposed because also hides the statusbar in homescreen)
- Lucky Patcher
- Smooth System Progress
3) Super User (chainfire)
To do list:
1) gain acces to system files via File Manager
2) Most important ! : somehow get the Xperia Z(1,2,3) video recording stabilizer, it's great!
In my case I am doing some mods, this is the latest: MoreFlymeNotifications, each notification with his icon!! Not grouped in the same icon.

You should be talking this to SmartDroid developers. Or you may simply install Xposed framework (search on XDA) and WanamXposed (free on PlayStore) and there should be an option for center clock.

How to get themes installed?
I know we have to flash the zip file but after selecting the theme and icons and stuff when I reboot nothing changes.
For eg I selected the IOS status bar but it didnt changed.
Help appreciated.

U can try, but it will only change wallpaper and lockscreen image, none of the other assets will work unless u r rooted,deodexed and have a superuser mod..

Hi ! I purpuse my first custom rom for P7000.
Infortunatly, MtkDroidTool don't work with mt67xx socs, so you have to restore it with TWRP (2.7.8 actually)
Rom is based on the latest software update by Elephone, with many tweaks, tools, better launcher, rooted, Xposed...

Hello, can you tell me how to change the lockscreen wallpaper there ? Put it as wallpaper only change the main wallpaper and enable the lock screen destroy the flip cover function and my phone doesn't woke up... Thanks in advance !

I used my computer to unzip then I put it on the sd card without any problem with the given password... Maybe it's just the phone software that is glitchy ? or just the file that is indeed corrupted ? Also really use a computer, because you will have to move the files and the folders anyway...

Hard when you dont have a computer Stopped used computers when my bank made it possible to bay bills with the phone

@tikilou instead of MtkDroidTool you should use MTK Engineering Mode

You can. I use dolby atmos and Viper Arise. I tried them on many. Global stable, china, etc... It's working an all, just be sure to flash the proper version of sound mod.

Slightly Tweaked YotaPhone 2 RU1.1.47 ROM Based On Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
Good morning and good afternoon everyone, I'm surprised that there isn't any ROM for the YotaPhone 2 based on Android 6.0.1 available for download. So I decided to tweak for my own. This ROM is based on Russian Official YotaPhone 2 Android 6.0.1 ROM Version RU1.1.47, and I recompiled it into a ZIP which you can just flash in TWRP Recovery. I also tweaked SuperSU and Xposed Frameworks. I also compiled a much more stable version of TWRP which an work with this ROM. Happy Flashing!

The GPS is fine, no need to fix, and it's Marshmallow instead of Lollipop.

Marshmallow has the same gps config . Have you tried it? it is 10 times faster because the stock config doesn't use glonass...
Today I got randomly struck by the endless "optimizing apps" bootloop glitch of death, forcing me to do a factory reset.
I'm now free to install this ROM, but I would want to wait if you can add the gps fix.
Could you also add some minor instructions about how to install everything right? Thank you!

Installed it but very slow and keeps freezing the phone, tried resetting it but it doesn't do much help, I like the features though, it has a lot of nice features maximizing the use of dual display.
