I was wondering if someone can help me. The chinese handwriting using the samsung keyboard has worked perfectly fine for months then a few weeks ago it stopped.
I am unable to handwrite as writing on the screen does not register. I went to keyboards and noticed an update for the language. I updated the language but when i refresh the update is still present. How do i update the language ?
I had a problem with the english keyboard until i updated but this one seems broken.
ROM is X-Note 4 and i have tried resetting keyboard data

Hi,
I hope this wasn't asked before, but I couldn't find anything.
I am currently using CM11 (latest build) with minimal gapps installed and face two problems:
A few months ago, when it was released in the play store, I decided to install the Google keyboard. This app somehow replaced the AOSP keyboard on my phone. I wasn't to impressed with it and decided to uninstall it, leaving me without any keyboard at all! This hasn't changed since, no matter how often I upgraded the CM11 and gapps build. It's no big deal for me, because I use another keyboard app, but I find this behavior rather strange.
I seem to have a similar problem with the camera app. When the Google camera app was released recently, I tried installing it - this time it didn't work, it told me that the app was already installed. After that I found out that I suddenly had no camera on my phone at all! How is this possible?
Can someone tell me where these apps have gone and how to recover them?
Thanks in advance.
Hello guys,
I own a Nexus 4 on which I have installed the stock rom by Google, version 5.1, no root, only unlocked bootloader.
I found out that every alternative keyboard I try (I like Fleksy, Minuum and TouchPal over the others, but this happens with every keyboard I ever tried) lags after a while. I mean, the first 2 or 3 days it all works fine, then it starts to be slow on opening, and general lag occurs.
Except for Google Keyboard and Kii Keyboard (not available anymore), it happened with Fleksy, Minuum, TouchPal, SwiftKey, Swype, Go.... everyone.
Is there something I should do on my phone? Or maybe is there a keyboard that does not ship with this particular problem on my device?
Thank you for your kind help,
Ruben
So I've been studying linguistics and have been learning Arabic the last couple of weeks.
I installed this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hdictionary.ar
My LG G5 worked like a charm, I was able to go back and forth from Arabic and English and pronounce all texts from both languages using the "pronounce" button.
Well my V20 constantly throws an error saying, "Sorry, Arabic text to speech engine not found in your device"
I have Google text to speech installed, I don't know why it works on my G5 and not on my V20.
I haven't tried it on my G5 since I have Nougat. But there's no way to check anymore because I'm about to sell the device and flashed it to stock and everything.
But how do I get the text to speech engine to have Arabic or for the app to recognize I have it? I don't know what to do on this
Hello!
For quite some time now I can't find my emojis on my device. Emojis aren't showing on the keyboard and I can't find them in settings ( maybe they are just turned off or something...). I'm using default samsung keyboard and I won't change to any other keyboard from like google store or something. I already tried to delete CM security but it didn't solve the problem. I am using Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with currently still 6.0.1 android. I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks!
