Custom paranoid roms

Hi Guys. I am a small developer and am trying to make a group that can help me. my roms are based upon cm and paranoid. and i need help. i am looking for developers with knowledge of creating a rom and testers with different devices like lg g2 or samsung galaxy s4 or samsung galaxy tab and all that

currently i m porting PA to GT-i9003...
just tell me to which device u have ported PA...

hey dude ...
porting means creating roms for other devices eg...
suppose officially PA team makes rom for s3 ok then it doesnot make rom for s2..
then u can download PA source and u can manually build PA for s2 by adding kernel and device files...
this is called porting...

i really haven't ported anything. I have more like created using a paranoid rom

hey dude if u r looking to build from base rom then its a piece of cake for u,,,only u need members for testing your rom....

I'd like to porting PA too to my device
Hi I have a chinese tablet and I'd like to start porting paranoid android to this device, what do I need it for?
Tablet is onda v971t v7 dual core 1.5GHZ anlogic cortex a9 1gb 16gb, please someone to point me to download PA as my base, what I need else then to port the rom. it use a amlogic chipsex the mx I think. some help will be appreciated to this noob (very one indeed)

if u have the device specific code(like kernel source and it varies device to device) for your device then u can surely build rom for yourself..
first u need to download the PA source code ,,, just follow these steps to download from the below post

this post will also tell you how to add device specific stuff in the PA source code and compile it all together..

I would guess people become devs on XDA because they want what they produce, and trust me when I say that devs don't use the stock ROM because there are so many other feature rich custom ROMs out there. So it is logical to see so many non-Stock compatible kernels out there and no Stock compatible kernels, devs don't use stock ROMs

Definitely need a custom kernal with stock ROM support.
It's true that there are a lot of custom Roms out there. I've tried a lot of them too. But there are always some issues as all are in beta or nightly at the moment. Till stable ones come it would be nice to just have a custom kernel while using the stock ROM.

There is no Stock 5.0.2 kernel source as of yet sadly...
This is the repo containing all branches and source for Moto X, G & E devices:

4.4.4-titan is available, but not 5.0.2-titan , we need 5.0.2 titan to create a custom kernel...

We don't need "titan" specific branch, moto decided to unify it as https://github.com/MotorolaMobilityLLC/kernel-msm/tree/lollipop—5.0.2-release

I created custom kernel for stock rom using linro tool cabin added some features like gamepad support USB fast charging(personally I don't like it) some more governor but I thought no one interested in stock kernel so I don't release it and I also added s2w and dt2w and it work fine in compitable display version

@vikasb32 can you start a thread regarding the same ? May b they not said we need, but ppls like stock kernel with customization,governors etc., if u wish to share your work create an thread :thumbup:

T330 Rom

Does anyone know when there will be a CM ROM for the T330/T330NU, it seems every other platform of the Tab 4 has a custom rom but this platform

If you're feeling brave, help this awesome dev out and test his cm12.1 for T330

@moonbutt74 built cm11 for the t330nu and it runs flawlessly. So the cm12.1 isn't your only option if you don't want to install lollipop yet.

Hiii i wanted to know whats the most stable and daily driver lollipop ROM available for this device plus if it ain't that stable give the most stable kitkat ROM and if possible provide the links too.... Thanks anyway

Most stable lollipop rom is Cyanogenmod 12.1

[Request] Custom kernel for Kitkat roms

It will be great if we get custom kernel for kitkat roms.. Like miui/cm11 .. Kitkat roms are best in terms of stability. So I request devs to compile kernel for kk if possible

A request to your request.. build it your self, its faster than waiting for someone who is not gonna do it..

Its marshmallow time. Why you wanna go down to kitkat when the stable MM roms is available now? Its out date. As pirej said, build your own custom kernel if you really want it!!!

i don't know why? really like kitkat rom very much. i heavily use internet with both 3g and wifi for almost 15-18 HOURS per day. i know marshmallow is stable now but with heavy usage cpu temperature goes over 50 it makes phone very hot we can't touch it. in kitkat with same usage got temperature around 44-46 and never crosses 50. so i am staying with kitkat. he is just requesting u not forcing u to make a kernel

yeah like he just said, kitkat doesnt overheat like Lollipop and Marshmallow. Unfortunately building a kernel isnt as easy as flashing a Rom so many of us can't do it. I myself keep flashing over and over again, coz when im on M, my phone overheats and i miss MIUI interface. when im on kitkat, i feel outdated. i have an internal conflict (((

Could anyone tell me what's the best (most stable) kitkat rom for 2014818? All I can find are 2014813 roms

Yaah Kitkat is outdated but I like it more than MM and Lp and Its my personal wish that I want a Kitkat kernel.. I'm not forcing or ordering anyone to make a kernel for me.. I'm just requesting.. If I was able to make kernel then I would not ask others to make it.. Don't know whats your problem If I'm requesting

Hey yo, Just like him I am back with the MiUI KK.
Every MM rom I've tried I couldn't proper use the GPS and the adb.
So, if you know any MM rom that these 2 features are working fine, please tell me!

No gps and adb bug here on my 2014813. If you want install bugless mm rom, install cm13 rom. Just follow this instruction http://forum.xda-developers.com/red...ll-official-cyanogenmod-13-t3374589?nocache=1, and you will enjoy it. Happy flashing bro!!

I'll reveal the secret-CM does not need ... no one needs, in general

Thanks, it seems that everything is ok now.
I can use adb but only on PTP mode (which is not that bad anyway)
GPS seems ok too I thought it was device problem...
