NO ,
but for any android phone ver > ICS there is solution.
>> serch google > ext32formatter.exe > install on your PC > now format ur SD card as system ext32 , after formatting remove ur card and insert in any android phone, it will be recognized by phone.
PLZ don't format card in phone or any other system , or else it will again not be recognized. use it as any standard card.
Thanks,

It's not supposed to be that way by default. He must have used ext32 format.

Well I don't know that much I just searched and this result showed up..

It does support 64 GB mmc

No screenshot. But what company says in specs is the safe limit of expandable memory . But that doesn't mean it cannot detect mmc of more capacity. If you are going to buy then try inserting someone's 64gb mmc to confirm .

yes it does
Yes it does and by Default.
i am using it without any issues.
my memory card is Samsung microSDXC 64GB Class 10 UHS-I 48MB/s

Yup thanks @doctor92
I also got my SD card today and I also confirm this it supports 64 GB by default..

Its true!

HTC Snap MicroSD capacity?

Hello all
i have been told that the Snap can handle 2 GB MicroSD maximum?
could you please confirm that since i am buying MicroSD.
Thanks in Advance, great forum
I use a 8 GB San Disk Mobile Ultra MicroSD HC at the moment. No problem!
I believe its up to 8GB, but if it supports SDHC (4+ GB) then it should be able to support 16GB if u find one...

hey dude i'm using a microsd hc toshiba 4gb but i cant seem to locate it.. seems like it isn;t compatiable?
Backup All the Data on the card (to PC or similar) and use the format tool on the phone. If anything format the SD card on the PC...
Im more than postitive a 16GB (and anything below) card will work. The phone has specifications for SDHC, which is a "Standard". This standard is meant to work with ALL certified MicroSDHC cards (SD Cards over 4GB are SDCH which is backwards compatible with all regular SD Cards 4GB and below).
Your Toshiba 4GB irwinlee could be locked to a specific device, or improperly formatted.

It's a 2GB card mate. Get in touch with your supplier and send it back for a replacement.
No I got a 2gb card in the package like everyone, but I have buy another 16gb card to have more space. I am using the 16 gb card in my phone, not the 2 gb one.
yeah, the 16GB card is probably a 2GB one

But you only have 2GB on it, so it's a 2GB card. Ignore what's printed on the card. If it reads as 2GB then it is 2GB. Whoever you got the card off has sold you a duff card. You'll need to get them to replace it.
Check the front of the card, in my case it says 16GB.. so that would be easy to figure out if it's the wrong size delivered what I doubt
FAT only goes till 2 or 4GB not sure, try formatting it to FAT32
@johncmolyneux: If I format my 1TB HDD with FAT, my disc will come out as 2/4GB. So that means the vendor has given me the wrong HDD, despite the fact the label says 1TB? () That is my logic if I follow your logic
Damn you are right, it's writted 2gb on it ...
EDIT :
I am a noob I have confused both of them lol. The 16 gb card is in my room at home lol.
Sorry and thank to you.

I have a Team 32GB card with 27GB of music on it and it's formatted as FAT32 and have had zero problems. If you can, try that format and see if it helps.
Will try

Sorry it didn't work.
I have been using 32GB micro SD card in my galaxy S4 with 0 problem so far. Then I bought a Samsung 64 GB micro SD card and did format it to fat32. It stopped working after one day. I removed the old partition and format it again, only 15 out of 64 GM became available. I had a similar problem with another 64 GB micro SD card a month ago.
My personal feeling is that android 4.2.2 does not like 64 GB card regardless of the format type.......
I will continue to use my 32 GB card until getting a new phone with 32 GB internal storage.

Thank you for your answer. Did you try format your Samsung SD to EXFAT? I feel like my Micro SD is fried and is on its last run being write protected. I requested an RMA from Team Group.

Android 4.4 does not allow you to write directly to SD card (without root). You need to save to device first then transfer them over.
Is there any patch

If you root the device there are several patches in Play Store
Tell me
I have no problems saving to sd card using stock, non rooted Note4 and stock camera app. I believe factory installed system app can write to sd cards. Third party apps not.

What you meant is that you cannot install apps directly to SD card, but of course you may save pictures and videos to SD card. I have been doing that since day 1.
Popped a 64 GB Sandisk Ultra UHS1 Class 10 card in there. Didn't even need to change any settings, the phone was smart enough to determine that since I inserted the memory card I have intended to save my pictures and videos directly to the micro SD.
