I was tempted until reading some users reviews.
save your money chaps, mate of mine bought a john lewis one today, (32gb white) its an HT4A serial with the bad buttons and light bleed... its going straight back.
Curry's/PC World are selling it for 199 as well, my N9 was bought in curry's in January and was one of the newer revisions. Still, looks like its a clearance item now.
I too was debating one of these over a galaxy tab pro 10.1 but 4:3 is a step back and NO HDMI. Welcome to 2010

Best buy has 8gb version on sale for only $279 right now. The black Friday sale ends Saturday though. They should have plenty in stock as this is not a popular tablet. I'm seriously considering getting one since they sold out of the 16gb Asus Transformer for only $249. I'm doing my research now comparing the two. The Thrive has the full size ports going for it. I am concerned about the battery life and if this thrive has IPS screen like transformer. From the demo version at best buy, it didn't look like the screen was looking as good as the Transformer although same screen resolution. Also heard this thrive doesn't have gorilla glass. What can you owners tell me if any of this Is true or not. I'd rather have more storage but not an issue since this tkes full size SD cards.

You realise that the 16GB one is going to be £159 within 2 weeks?
Looks likely anyway
I bought one now at this price because I can't wait 2 weeks
In fact It's belive Monday 29th is the announcement for the 32GB N7 both with and without 3g as well as the Nexus 10, so it seems.
I was in Currys on Saturday and the N7 was £189 then. So another £10 drop in a day!?
I might believe the Verge if they could spell rumour properly..

For our friends overseas, Black Friday is a major Holiday shopping day in the US. It is the day after Thanksgiving and many US retailers have insane deals on various items. For example: last year my ASUS Transformer TF101 was on sale for $200 at Best Buy (although they pulled their model # sheninnigans on it!)
I am sure we will see incredible deals on the Nexus this year for Black Friday, but I imagine we wont start seeing the ads until next week.
MAn, Nexus 7 is already so cheap, and you want it to be more cheaper?:cyclops:
Even after a few months since release note does not seem to have dropped in pricing.. Which i guess is good and bad...
The cheapest one is from amazon is around 550usd..
Most of the online retailers come close to 600usd ( final price including tax)..
Any suggestion for a better pricing for 32gb model ???

Just got my galaxy note 10.1 from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Used - Like New condition. Box was a bit ugly, but note itself was still in original plastic wrappings. Saved about $80 off list price.

I took the same route with the Amazon Warehouse deal. The box looked worn but the tablet inside was either new or never had the plastic taken off of it (oh so much plastic). I bought the 16gb model for $422 (I missed the $450 sale price on a new one by one day).
I think I may have just got a steal of a deal on a new SAMSUNG Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 32GB black for
$459.99 including tax and shipping.
Crossing my fingers till I get it.

I'm from the UK but still I know thats an amazing deal, I really hope it is this years model as some people have had it when they thought they were purchasing this years model but turned out to be last years Note 10.1 due to the seller making a mess of the description.
Anyways best of luck mate :good:

The description just says Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 32gb NEW and the photo is a 2014 32gb box front and back photo of the box. Description had no part or sku number. I think the auction does have some holes so it should not be a problem filing a complaint with Ebay for a total refund. The sellers does have a15 day return policy so my gamble is slim.
I may not even keep it but resell if it truly is the 2014 model as I'm very happy with my G-Note GT-N8013 and I'm a little worried about all the issues that folks are venting about the 2014 edition on this site, personally I think most of the complaints are from people that like to complain.

A pretty rhetorical question, no? When the big brown (or white) truck drops it off and you open it if it's a shiny new Note 10.1 2014 32GB black that normally sells for $599 you got a great deal. If it's not you have weeks of arbitration ahead of you with eBay/PayPal trying to get your money back. With eBay and CL you spin the wheel and takes your chances. BTW, get third party insurance on it if you haven't already. Samsung doesn't warrant their products sold by non-authorized resellers.

I always purchase warranty with accident protection on all my tablets anyway as it's a good idea and it helps with resale after there a year old.
You are correct......... when big brown comes we will see if it's a fairy tale or a nightmare.
.
My fairy tale of a deal - New 32gb Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition in a seal box arrived today and I'm feeling pretty good about my decision to take a $459.99 gamble on it.
WOW.... Compared to my GT-N8013 the new 2014 edition has a very different feel, the footprint is much smaller, it's thinner, lighter and the screen is crazy crisp and clear.
When I read all of the post about the screen being so much better I thought people were just excited about there new purchase.
Well yeah now I see why they were excited because it is much nicer.
