Can we flash stock cm 11 rom after upgrading to cm 12 stock or other roms?
You can't. Cm11 had a 32bit bootloader and cm12 has a 64bit. If you try to downgrade you'll hard brick your yureka.

I am considering on flashing the 10.2 CM nightly on my S4, but I'm currently running stock TW 4.2.2 (4.3 isn't out for my S4 yet), would it be ok to flash a 4.3 based ROM (10.2 CM nightly) over a 4.2.2 stock? Would I need to flash anything additional (other than gapps)? : /

Dang..:/ so if I wanted to use CM 10.2 I would have to wait until the 4.3 update rolls out for my phone?

What he means is that you cannot dirty flash to a different version of android. A full wipe is required when transitioning.
Hello guys. I need an advice pls.
I flashed a galaxy s4 i9500 (international) with sokp Rom. (Aosp based 4.4 Rom)
Now I want to flash a pure stock 4.4 Rom. Which I never had on my device. I started with custom Roms from 4.2.2, moved to 4.3 and then the custom Sokp Rom. So I need words of advice.
Is there a flashable latest stock rom which I can flash in twrp? If yes, are the steps the same as flashing custom Rom?
Where can I get a link if such?
Thanks in advance.

You can flash through odin a stock rom from sammobile or a custom rom generated from stock from xda where you can flash the zip file you pput on the microsd card for i.e. with recovery. But original stock rom which might be used to restore original condition (for warranty reasons for i.e.) should be flashed with odin or kies.

Is it now possible to flash AOSP on a stock kit kat bootloader? Because before I heard that AOSP can only be flash on old stock boot loader which is Android 4.3.

I believe YES. I've installed AOSB on kitkat bootloader with no problems at all.
Check the other roms discussion threads, you'll find out the answer if you search inside the thread.

Help please. I tried to install AOSB with Cwm with full wipe. I was on X-Note 17. After I flash it soft bricked my device. Manage to save it by flashing a stock firmware through Odin. Any idea?

My friend's got a s3 neo and all he wants is cm 12 on his phone. I rooted using towelroot but I can't get into recovery and even if I install any custom recovery the phone boots into download mode saying "Could not do normal boot" bla bla and Qualcomm secure boot enabled and write secured something like that. I think that some qualcomm security is not letting the recovery written in system. AND then when I boot the phone back on and start flashify it says the current installed recovery: Stock recovery.
Help me here guys. I just wanna get into recovery somehow and wipe and get on with lollipop
Was it on 4.4 before updating to cm 12 ?

Nope. It's never updated to 4.4 it's on 4.3
Are you sure you have installed the 4.3 custom recovery? The 4.4.4 version cannot work on 4.3. Make sure you followed this guide not the 4.4.4.

So I installed the cm12 with TWRP for 4.3. and then after installing it boots into the same "could not do normal boot" download mode screen. Thing is He's kinda jerk and wants it back quicly and I know I can flash stock 4.4.4 but my internet is kinda slow. I have Cm11 and CM12 downloaded but no luck with both
Really need help from both of you
