Here you go.. Scroll down to see the "S4 Family"
http://samsung.youmobile.org/
Would be nice to see an actual quote of Samsung UK's response.
As i already have said ,it's totaly wrong ! no official Lollipop for S4-mini ......
Samsung have said that it's an internal memory limitation .... 8 Go is not enought !
They don't want to do effort !!! ......... and with ALL of theirs "bloats" ,it's not surprising .. pffff !!!!!
That's why the only way is to have an "unofficial" Lollipop exploit with "S6 lollipop preject" team ( ....or maybe with ploiki's team !!! :fingers-crossed: ) that's a big challenge !!!
!!!! Forget Samsung's poor development ! think "XDA" the best !!!!!!!

Samsung uk did not convey message to public.
But they do communicate with carriers as to their approval of the "bloat" on part of carrier.
ThreeUK said their version of lollipop failed testing and concluded there won't be lp due to mem limits.
But ThreeIreland said their software was approved and seeding will begin shortly.
That is the summary. But usually no carrier gives more details about discussions with oems

it all seems very confusing. One carrier says they will release a Lollipop update, another says they cannot. A response from Samsung regarding an official Lollipop update for the international models has not been published yet but if a carrier decided to update theirs and it was possible, then we may just see an official update from Samsung.

A carrier ?! no ,i don't think at all ...
If there are no development of "Lollipop" firmware source-base released (and decided ! ) by the manufacturer , a mobil operator can't ask for this Lollipop version because it need "new" work .
they are only interrested by the "money" ! they prefer to seel new devices..... that offert "good" support for a long period ...
An example n December 2014 when they have come out these "gear watches" ,they have updated very quickly on "very" short period many modems and firmwares for compatibilty for many devices ( our S4-mini with modem ****UCNK1 and superior ) ......just for cell !!!
BUT we never have had KK 4.4.4 ..... and no effort for to include news features of S5 S5-mini /note4 ....

All s4 mini models have same chipsets. So ground work will be identical for all models. The UI and prebuilt apps will be same too. All they need to do is to make other essentials like RIL, multi-sim, nfc etc which differ between models. Also all s4 minis have 1.5gb ram.
So if samsung works on lollipop they will consider 2 important things. 1.Difficulty 2.Demand.
Demand is plenty. Difficulty is more in case of carrier branded models. It is relatively hassle free with international models. If one carrier confirms the update
[which they did], then international models will get it too.

I agree with you, normally Samsung announces the update and not the carriers. Would surprise me if Samsung has changed it's update policy.

youmobile contacted samsung and the update will be there for our device.but samsung dont write a exact time for the release so be patience just a few weeks and the update will be her
A major confusion happened yesterday when UK
branch of "Three" carrier tweeted that the Galaxy S4
mini will not be getting Android 5.0 Lollipop update due
to Memory limitation, after few hours "ThreeIreland"
branch tweeted that the S4 mini update is approved
and passed the testing process.
Today, we reached out to Samsung to get a clearance
about this. Low-end and mid-range users are NOT
forgotten by Samsung, the Korean giant is working hard
to bring Lollipop love to as many devices as possible,
but time is tight (posted by youmobile)
Would be nice to have multiple, more known sources. Again I hope 5.0.1 will come, but "wait a couple of weeks" is a bit too vague.
Three ireland said to me that s4 mini lollipop cancelled for them.
================
Samsung Information is accurate, only unlocked version will get the update.

so we will have the update for all s4 mini i9195/90/92
Wait, official will get and carriers no?
If Samsung will release LP for S4 Mini, all carriers will got it!, no only GENERIC version.
Ofc, It's only my opinion.

There are many samsung firmware builds, just for i9505 and i9500 itself there are many different firmware variations.
From what I understand, different regions uses different modems am I right? If not, then why do Samsung update their firmware based on different regions?
When Android 4.3 was released, it was released as per region and to Russia first. Why cant they just send out one uniform update OTA to all devices of that model? If its because of the modems, then why dont other manufacturers like HTC do the same? They are able to push out one HTC update for all international HTC phones...

it s not always because of bandwidth traffics
sometimes they release firmware for test if someone find bug and then solve it for another region (and also with minor update for first regions)
htc released update for htc one world-wide But how u compare samsung with htc
S4 was one of the best sell in history of smartphone (always samsung device do this) so thr s more s4 users than htc one
also it happened for some device for sony xperia
SO be patient
However u can flash stocks roms
download flashable zip of ROM from another region and flash it via Odin
completely stock and without warranty void...

Actually the purpose of this post is to gain some knowledge on how Samsung update goes on... I am very patient I am not rushing to the point I need to flash a custom ROM. So you are saying that each region has their own Samsung tech guy that will work on the initial release to fix bugs before passing to another region?
There are not just more variants of firmware in s4, but also the same for any samsung phone. Does anyone else have their opinion on this matter as well? I would like to get feedback on what people think behind samsung's update procedure.
I'm also interested in having an answer on the subject. If I can flash a firmware from another region on my phone, what's the purpose of having several firmwares...Besides some tweaks apparently.
Wouldn't it be more interesting if all the developers from Samsung focused on the same firmware to eliminate the bugs more rapidly for example? I don't really see the link between several firmwares and the number of users. Ok, the S4 sold by millions, and?
Thanks.
What difference does it make.As long as your getting your updates, why would you care about any other region.
Are you doing a Samsung case study or preparing a lawsuit; otherwise email CEO of Samsung.
I can post his tag if needed..lol

The time discrepancy its coming from carriers. Most of them wants to integrate their own bloatwares in their phones. And some are doing faster than others. That's why there's so many region specific firmwares when its about Touchwiz. You won't see region specific firmwares for Google Play Edition.

Indeed, seems the most obvious reason... I just wanted to be sure that besides the bloatware, the Android version underneath was the same.
Thanks for your intel!

Is our i9301i device gets the Android 5.0 update from Samsung?
Sorry for my ****ing English ...
It is highly possible that we will get update to 5.0. I beleive we will get update since we have same soc as moto g that is officialli supported by google , it wont be hard to port it to our device. If samsung doesnt do that there is always CM 12

Thank you very much for the quick reply.
I have another question: Your cyanogenmod project for our device has Hebrew language? (That the i9300 has Hebrew).
They might update it, seeing as it's a new phone carrying the flagship name. It would seem pointless to release an "improved" model of the S3, only to abandon it 7 months later. Then again, this is Samsung we're talking about, so they might just release an S4 Neo with 5.0 instead.
Everything is possible!!!
Hope to get our cure for this devices. I think with official 5.0 L, the device will run more smoothly. Who knows - may be only Samsung. We must pray to get official announcement!
i dont think so bcz the reason behind 4.4.4 is neo was released after s3 so they give official update to s3 neo not to s3.
If samsung left this phone with out update for 5.0 this will be my last samsung phone.

I hope this isn't going to happen. I think to send email to sLamsung to doing something about their product.
I am disappointed.
I installed CM12 On my galaxy s3 neo I9301I and got i problem of no data connection and no wifi connection at all. I spent 48 hours in frustration. I had my nandroid backup but when i tried to back that up, i was stucked, all apps were stoped. Then i tried my level best to find the solution. Unfortunately, my mobile baseband is I9301IXXUANF2 and there is no proper single stock firmware for this baseband at all. Then i made my account here and ask for help to a member. He helped me to solve my problem but all in vain. After that i download a firmware of baseband I9301IXXUANH2 for region Pakistan. Luckily that is for 3 variants including mine. Now my problem is solved.
Please do some thing to improve CM12. I love it's UI and speed but due to those problems i am not able to enjoy that.
I am from Pakistan.
And hey guys is there any difference between baseband and build number? After flashing my mobile is showing baseband I9301IXXUANF2 and build number I9301IXXUANH2, is it fine??????

For the G900F, the firmware is G900FXXU1BOC7
When looking for firmware that will work with your model S5, make sure the model number is the start of the firmware version
Hi everyone. I know that this question has probably been asked before and there are perhaps a few threads on the same topic so I apologize if this seems repetitive.
I have an unlocked Note 4 the 910C (Exynos 5 Octa) and I have been checking for the Lollipop update - but every time I do it says my software is up to date (KitKat 4.4.4). I am using the device in the United States on T-Mobile Network. This is my first unlocked device.
I know Lollipop has pushed out to 910C devices but I am confused as to which one I should download. There are updates from Poland, Asia and so on. I have tried Kies and through there it also says my device is up to date. With so many different variants it becomes confusing. So I don't know if it hasn't been pushed out yet or if I have to do it manually.
Any help is appreciated and once again thanks for your patience with a relatively newbie member such as myself.

My n910c exynos 5 octa core is xme malaysian carrier and i still have not receive any sort of update. Just today my siblings using n910f got another update of 84mb after 5.1.1. It breaks my heart to write that samsung is really not treating their customers how they should. I do not want to take any chances to brick my phone using odin or other methods of rooting. But certainly ask for insights from the senior members what should i do now? And certainly i am not expecting marshmallow too. Since i doubt all the carriers will get it. Articles from the internet tells me samsung is already working for n910f marshmallow. What about the n910c exynos 5 octa core? Will we ever get any sort of advantage to boost our 64 bit cores to it's potential?

No still running stock 4.4.4 Kitkat ?
KitKat is better than Lollipop. Trust me.
Yeah but still you know when your siblings brag about their mighty snapdragon you want to show off too.. plus why won't exynos get it?
