From your post i understand the following.
=>You have a Galaxy chat
=>You turned wifi hotspot on and then it immediately rebooted and when you try to open your phone you have to enter the wifi hotspot password
Am i correct?
What you want to do is you want to remove the lock screen password?
solved.thank you

**SOLVED* Help, Getting Rid Of FRP Lock

I solved the issue by downloading some software that I saw on xda
I have a t-mobile lg leon which has frp lock, so what happens is that when I setup the phone, it asks me to verify a google account, and I doint know the google account, So please help me. The phone is 100% non-rooted and I am not sure which version of android it is running. so please replay, thanks!
most lg models, Leon/Tribute 2 included can bypass FRP without any third party software or phone modification by removing sim card, boot up, selecting wifi hot spot, and right after "checking connection" (contacting carrier) it will say "checking for updates" (contacting google)... right at "checking for updates" yank the power cord on your router out of the socket IMMEDIATELY (about .5 second window of time where this will work) set lock screen, after a couple "yes i agree" pages it dumps you to the desktop, go to settings>accounts, add your google account, power off, replace sim, reboot 8D

Get data from broken phone via mobile data or WiFi

Hello guys
I have got a phone (Samsung J5 (2016)) which after some mysterious action broke it's UI.
When I boot it up, the first thing that shows up is a message saying: Unfortunately, System UI has stopped.
If I press OK, it keeps showing up for a few times until the screen goes black or the background image flashes but no icons appear and no reaction to any button or touch gesture.
So resetting the phone would most likely fix the problem, but at first I would like to back up stuff from the phone.
So my question is whether someone knows if there is an app out there which I can install via Google Play Store that allows me to access the data?
What I can think of is maybe the app setting up a web server or enabling USB Debugging or any other way to communicate with the phone?
Also an MDM solution is enrolled on the phone and still synchronizing with the server so basic things do still work (no, unfortunately Sophos MDM has no ability to grab data from the phone) and I could install an app also via the MDM.
Thanks in advance...
...and no, I'm not a robot

An error has occurred while updating the device software (2018)

Hello,

I found this on xda from someone else with the SM-T580:

It's very frustrating because I need this tablet working in order to take notes in my college classes. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.
I was having the same problem, but i figured it out last night. Without OTG cable, Odin, SideSync, Realtek, or a PC. I'd been messing with it for 3 days, so Im not 100% sure of what everything said and i'm definitely not going to relock it to try an duplicate it, but if you've been all over youtube then you've seen methods that require a wifi connection, (I found it easiest to use my phone's wifi hotspot) you disconnect your hotspot or unplug your router immediately when it says checking for software update, which appears after clicking accept on the privacy policy. (Again it's easier to just turn off the hotspot than to unplug your router" When done correctly it souls say "couldn't sign in" and then the next screen will either ask you to set up time and date or it asks you to add a name to the tablet (can't remember which is first) then asks to set up a screen lock passcode or pattern (set up either one), after doing all this 100 times I noticed it asked me if i wanted to set up a IMAP/POP3 account to use within the Gmail app (which I'd been skipping) but for some reason it didn't give me this option every time. You have to be connected to the internet for the next part so if you haven't already go ahead and turn your hotspot back on or router and add any email address other than a Gmail (I used my yahoo account) then follow through with the setup into it takes you back to the very first screen you see when you turned on the tablet. Now just turn the tablet screen off and back on (just the screen, do not power down the tablet) put in your lockscreen password and now In the top right corner there should be a little yellow icon which lets you switch users (if you see this, you've got it beat) now create a new user signing into your Gmail and Samsung accounts (if you don't have one, create a new account) once you're done with that it will take you to the home screen, pull down the notification bar and go into settings (notice since you're on an added user you can't factory reset the device) find "Users", and then switch back to the owner profile, it then tells you that you still need to set up the tablet to continue. Once i clicked okay it now let me pull down the notification bar to access settings, but this time you're on the owners account so you can factory reset it, go to "Back up and Reset" and then go ahead and factory reset it again. If done correctly the FRP will no longer be on the tablet. I know this probably sounds extremely complex so if you have any questions feel free to message me and Ill give you my email and phone number and ill help walk you through it

Galaxy S8 is soft locked (not rooted)

Ok this is going to be a nightmare to explain, my brother has an S8 on Sprint, his battery was low and turn on max power settings and enabled some sort of restricted app usage setting or something to that extent, after locking his phone he went to unlock it (he has a password lock) the keyboard to type won't pop up I'm guessing because he switched his default to Gboard, ok this is where it gets screwy and yes he managed to mess up this bad, I did some googling and realized Samsung find my mobile has an unlock screen option if you sign into it with your Samsung account on your phone, so I gave him my phone and he tried to sign in here forgot his password because he used a randomly generated password with lastpass, ok I download LastPass it won't let me in I'm not a recognized device, I think try the desktop site I get not the right location because he's not living where he originally set it up at, so I thought reset your Samsung account password and send it to your Gmail he can't get into his Gmail because again he used a randomly generated password with LastPass and he can't get into LastPass, id factory reset with Stock Recovery but FRP will kick in and he doesn't know the password.
Look I've done my fair share of rooting and roming and installing stuff I shouldn't have, but I've never messed up this bad, it's beyond what I can think of though, I've tried everything I can think of but any help would be appreciated thank you in advance
I've contacted Samsung support and tried explaining everything but they are just f***ing worthless, they kept thinking I wanted to reboot the phone when I was asking if battery saver turned off when the battery was full
Should also say he took the Oreo update whenever it dropped for the S8

Because he can't get into LastPass to get the password for his Gmail so he won't be able to get passed FRP
