NG2 is 4.4.2, all you need to do is flash a custom recovery through Odin (I recommend TWRP in Original Development). Then flash Chainfire's SuperSU.zip , update your bookmarks when the phone reboots and done. Knox simply prevents you from downgrading your firmware.

ro.build.selinux=1 tells system to enable selinux, not disable it...

This ROM now implements OMS.
What is OMS ?
OMS: (Overlay Manager Service) was designed by google. It's a layer/theme service which is used by Substratum: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=projekt.substratum&hl=fr
So basically, if you install Substratum, you will be able to apply any theme on the ROM UI because OMS has been implemented.
Issues/What's not working:
- SeLinux in permissive mode, needed for Moto Mods dev
- Moto Mods not fully compatible ATM (WIP)

What's your variant? Have you upgraded your phone to the Nougat firmware before flashing this ROM?
Can you provide logs?
Similar to the wifi fix when flashing the turboz kernel, some line with insmod /system/......wlan.ko you can find the whole command in the kernel thread.

Moto Mods already work with Lineage OS and AOKP afaik

flashed the latest Version 06.02.2017. this one breakes the fingerprint. so, if anyone needs that, don't flash.

tested, but the option to set a fingerprint is not there.

Today build is back to permissive mode, so should fix FP issues and Moto Mods issues with the Mods service

All major functions - modem,bluetooth, wifi, tethering, usb, hotspot , important stuff ...
What isn't there
No Alien-dalvik (no official android support) , only available on Sailfish X devices.
What doesn't work
Fingerprint , VOLTE , Fm Radio , Android apps
Issues: Notification sounds with headphones play with speaker, Requires reboot to use photo-camera after video recording. No store & ota updates (use storeman).
Flashing Instructions
Have 4GB free storage in data or better backup and format data
Get an twrp 3.1 and flash it as recovery .You can change recovery after this process is over.
Wipe data,system,cache
Flash Lineage 14.1 (Rom by Louis popi) .
In Twrp mount system and Flash Sensor&Gps patch.
Flash Sailfish zip .

How to install apk to Anbox

/usr/bin/anbox-shell.sh
cd data
pm install your_app_name.apk
If Anbox is closed manually it cant be opened again, you need to run the following to restart it.

Changed download link, you can use lineage based roms like AEX N or other noughat roms as base instead of lineage14 except (stock rom) as the stock rom camera hal is different.
Can't flash sailfish os zip, it gives error 7 and can't test it with twrp 3.1 as it times out when decrypting

Make sure its twrp from the original post, and you can ignore error if there is message 'Done!' after it, you said something with decrypting, if your storage is encrypted you will need to wipe internal storage aswell.
