Hi guys, I've bought Grand 2 two months ago and I have a problem camera chrashes sometimes, when I go to app it shows a black screen with all functions (mode, settings, galery etc) but nothing works and after a while alerts "camera failed". I am using android kitkat 4.4.2
Does anyone have or had similar problem and how can I fix it?

Hey guys,
I have a note 3 LTE international on stock 4.4.2 rooted. Whenever I open the camera app it freezes, I can see the camera itself working but the app is not responsive, I can't click on anything to take a picture or record a video unless I turn on voice control, it is the only way to take pictures.
Besides that 3rd party camera apps are working fine.
Can someone please help?

I reinstalled the firmware and the problem seemed to be solved, but after rooting and granting root to all of my apps the problem came back, which app do you think can cause this? Thanks.
I purchased Galaxy S4 black edition 20 days ago and updated the same to lollipop. I had faced the issue described below is in kitkat version also.
The issue is identified only while using 2G(GSM only) internet connection. The issue is that, the screen falshes/blinks just for a second while using any application. If the phone is in idle state, the display turns on during this. If the keyboard is on while happening this, it just closes the keyboard. It seems like the UI is just refreshing.
Anyone out here faced an issue like this? Please suggest a solution for this!

To get better pictures I have installed Camera next 2 and cameranextmod2. That worked fine for two days after that they are behaving like default camera app. Please help me to get out from this problem. Thank you.
Hi,
Recently installed Kushan CM Marshmallow, ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and looks fine except Google camera. I can take a picture, but after switch to video mode, it stops working.. Have you experienced such issue? Is there any resolution for that?
I tried any other camera application and they works properly. Maybe there is a problem with camera firmware? Is there possibility to upgrade?

First of all thanks for all the great work to the whole MAD team.
Last week during a repair of my Jiayu S3 PRO the Jiayu team in Kassel Germany installed also MadOs 7.1.1 on my device.
Now my Camera does not work at all. All the other stuff seems to be working fine.
Camera problem:
The camera app launches only if a SD card is installed in the device.
(1) I click the camera icon (2) the app starts (3) at the bottom on the left side of the screen i can see the following: <20 and a little flag
(4) the number 20 rapidly goes up to 15951 and a little flag then (6) a error message appears very quick: "Mediaserver Crashed Stopped Camera" (translated from the Dutch)
(7) the app shut's down.
All this from 1 to 7 happens in approx 1 second.
Please could anyone help me to get my camera up and running again.

All seems to be working fine now.
