BTU is the uk unbranded one with no carrier branding or bundleware. I'm on it while using a Vodafone sim as I'm unlocked

No it won't, however it will put some vodafone bloatware on your phone. You can download the firmware at sammobile.com

Hey guys,
I've recently bought an Galaxy S5 G900F from Vodafone Germany, but now i live in Romania.
The phone is running stock with all the vodafone and samsung bloat.
My question is how to flash an international rom without any bloat, or maybe my current country rom?
Sorry for being noob but i am new to samsung, not android

Just use Odin and flash any unbranded firmware from Samsung Updates,SamMobile or links from Firmware thread here
so there's no need to unlock bootloader and so on? only download firmware and flash via odin? does this unbrand phone? i mean get rid of vodafone bloat?
Bloat comes with the ROM, if you flash a clean bloat free ROM, bloat is gone

Example, my phone also had bloatware by the carrier, but I flashed various firmware various countries unbranded and branded without problems
carriers bloat is gone
but Samsung bloat comes with all stock firmwares
I now even i'm with Malaysian firmware or (not remember now)
See Firmware thread in General section
Thanks for the info

You can flash any rom you like as long as it is for your version of phone : n910c rom only for n910C!!! and n910F only for n910F!!! etc
Check your versionand you can find the rom you are looking for on XDA...just search the threads. N910C is exynoss version and N910F is Snapdragon!
Best of luck!

Yes. Safest way is to flash it via ODIN. Otherwise you might have the wrong bootloader on you're device. Ran into some trouble when trying to flash it with twrp.

Would I be able to flash a T-Mobile Note 3 firmware (N9005XXUGBOD6_N9005TNLGBOD1_TNL) on an international N9005 LTE?

So, other words if ppl use unlocked Note 3 but their carrier is T-Mobile they can't use WiFi Calling feature.
Just awesome!

Works on N9005 with some lil NFC flaws and pretends to be a T-Mobile one. + Theres WIFI calling in there

You can use any EU firmware, branded or unbranded, interchangeably on an EU device. The only thing you may run in to is 4G not being white listed for your provider, or a Size error in ODIN.
Yes. TNL is T-Mobile Netherlands. It's PHN (Dutch Unbranded) with a few apps and logo's. However, if you try flashing it over the Polish version, you'll get a Size error and will need a PITfile.

Yes. TNL is T-Mobile Netherlands, which is a modified version of PHN, Dutch Unbranded. It's not T-Mobile USA.
Thanx for the responses guys.

So, just to clarify, I would be able to flash the N9005 TNL firmware over an N9005 XSI firmware?
And if I did flash the N9005XXUGBOD6_N9005TNLGBOD1_TNL firmware, would I be able to go back to the original N9005XXUGNJ2_N9005OJVGNH2_XSI firmware?

I said EU firmware on an EU device. I know Europe's starting to resemble the Middle East more and more every day, but last I checked the United Arab Emirates wasn't a part of Europe.
It might be possible, but I can't say for sure.

In general, no. You can't downgrade.
It can be done, but there's a lot more involved than just flashing back old firmware.
Hi all,
Running a rooted S5 G900F, familiar with odin,
lots of tutorials for upgrading to Marshmallow, which I'm really fed up waiting for,
BUT on Sam mobile firmwares, which one would I need to successfully upgrade my phone in Australia?
Thanks
Doesn't seem to be any specific Australian region ROM for the G900F, so I'd go for BTU (United Kingdom) which is carrier free
See how you get on with that
Use this site instead, no limitations
Code:
