[APP REQ]Loco Roco-Like Game!

I had an idea (like everyone does) for a new game for the G-sensor on the Omnia, or any other devise that its supported in. Loco Roco has been available for download on ppc's for a while now, and I thought it would make the game much nicer if it was g-sensor... Because I failed my coding class (Our teacher didn't expplain anything, I was hoping that some developer out there could try to make this possible.
I do know that because Loco Roco is a Java game, it cannot be changed...
But is there any courageous dev out there willing to try to make something like it?
It would be fairly easy... just tilt a ball down paths to complete the level.
Or you must roll to the end of the level without dying, for example:
A sonic type game, you are a ball, rolling down hills, jumps (over spikes which kill you) and through loops, etc.

Racing stopwatch ?

Hello all,
I am looking for a racing stopwatch.
I had a WM6.5 phone and the guys at ageye have worked with me to release the perfect program (G-RACE) but they are not planning to make it for android, therefore I need to find something that is close enough under Android or find someone that would be able to code it for me.
I work in truck racing and we have other requirements that the existing things I have seen, the best being ultrachron lite but basically I need to be able to time more than 1 vehicle with the program, so i need to be able to assign this laptime to this vehicle and this one to that vehicle and so on, and then sort out the results by fastest lap time, name of driver and/or other stuff.
If someone writes this app for me he gets invited to any race he wants in the european championship, possibly with a ride in the truck if we have a press day, anyway, we'll find a way

Sounds like a great app. I'm a NASCAR fan though, do you include airfare and room? LOL (I'm in the U.S.)

For the airfare it's going to be more complicated....
But a trip to the Nurburgring would thrill any nascar fan, more turns in 1 lap than in the entire season...
More seriously we can always work out something on team clothing and goodies if you're willing, it would be a quite simple app to do since I know exactly what is needed, but I can't code anything....I have a DOS program that does exactly what I need and I can send it if you want.

Thanks for the sporstimer tip but it si not possible to use it for me.
I need a program where the tapping on the screen part is separated from the assigning this tap to that truck.
When you have 3 or 4 trucks passing by almost together you cannot look at the screen to see on which truck you are tapping and be accurate enough to tap when it passes the line, they are doing 162 when the pass so it means 44m/s...

Look like Stratagus, game (engine?) able to use data files, scripts, map, etc. from original games (Stratagus is able to use Warcraft and Starcraft).
Something like re-make with original data

I guess we can install this emu's early stage version. because I install it already for testing on Bada 2.0.1 . It works, but I couldn't understand how it is work.

For those asking what this is all about (and not having the time to google it ):
Scumm was the game engine developed by LucasArts in the 1980's and 1990's for their (mostly excellent) graphic adventures.
ScummVM is basically a virtual machine that enables running almost all of those games in recent OS's.
You can try it in Windows (ScummVM for windows has been around for some years now) and other platforms.
All you need is ScummVM and the original game files (flying around the net... lots are even free).
We see all this fuss because some of these games are VERY good (some may even be in the "best games ever" list). So its a great adition to bada phones.
I recommend playing:

27 September 2011 The application was rejected again. This time due to a bug in the Humongous game engine and some other startup edge-case where the application appears to crash if you press the hold/mute key during startup. The Humongous engine problem was a simple null pointer fix. I was not able to replicate the mute problem so have just added some defensive coding around this area. I will try re-submitting again. The Sellers Office web-site seems to be down at the moment.
25 September 2011 The application was re-submitted to the Samsung Seller Office over a week ago, so just waiting now to see whether it will be accepted. The initial submission failed due to a couple of minor issues; the virtual keypad did not automatically appear when focusing on the launcher filter widget and sound could not be enabled if started while system mute was active.

movie game app idea

I have an idea for a game called six 'degrees of separation'
basically you pick 2 actors/actress with a connection of 4 other actors or actresses between them
for example
if the challenge is Tom Cruise to Dan Akroid
(1) Tom Cruise->(2) Morgan Freeman in Oblivion, Morgan Freeman -> (3)Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty, Jim Carrey -> (4)Cameron Diaz in The Mask
Cameron Diaz->(5) Eddie Murphy in Shrek, Eddie Murphy->(6)Dan Akroid in Trading Places
rules:
not repeating of films or actors and no tv shows JUST FILMS!!, everything else
is this possible to make if so how? I am a completely new to Android App programming.
A way I thought might work if all possible (and let me know if not) was to somehow grab the data from say IMDB picks the (1) and (6) and then the user types in the (2),(3),(4),(6) and the films there in and there is a check to see if its correct and if so great in not guess again.
Pseudo code
if (actor 2 and film 2 = film 1 and actor 1) // or something to that effect.

Your idea is playing around with Six Degrees of Kevin Baco (see here) -you probably already knew this, this is just for future readers! (hello future readers!-.
There are many services similar to what you offer (example, example 2, example 3, ...) Btw, I just saw that the last example has an Android app as well.
Once said that, your question is kind of vague, isn't it? It is shocking to read "So, guys, I have this idea in mind, how can I do it?". Do what?
The idea is reasonable and you can perfectly implement it. The 'how' is up to you, but that is not part of Android coding.
I'd suggest you to start here, it is an open movie database and they tell you how to gather information from it. Take a look also here and google a little.
You'll learn a lot, good luck :good:

Have a look at some tutorials. Those by vogella (Google it) are very good.

connecting to a database
for the purpose of development I downloaded 6 images from IMDB and put them in my 'drawable-hdpi' folder along with a generic place holder image. I want to things to happen. I have 6 ImageView's. 1 and 6 are two actors picked at random and placed the other 4 are the placeholder image how do I:
1. on a button press, change pictures 1 and 6 at random from the 6 six images i uploaded with no repeat error such as will ferrel -> will ferrel. can I create a database with them in?
2. when the user presses the place holder image they can choose or search (from the same database) for an actor and then that image is replaced with the actor picture
