I have a Gionee Elife e7 (3gb/32gb). I am on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean. I downloaded an image I wanted to use as a wallpaper, but I noticed that when I tapped on the image in the stock gallery app, the application immediately restarts. I also tried to view the image in Quickpic instead, but a similar thing happened, and when I tapped on the image, the Quickpic app crashed. It only happens when viewing this specific picture, all other pictures could be viewed fine. I also tried to view the picture on my Sony Xperia SP (Android 4.3 - 1gb/8gb) on Quickpic and it worked fine.
Does anyone else have such problems? Is this a software/ firmware issue?
Also, I have attached the file image that causes my Gionee Elife e7's gallery app and QuickPic app to crash.
Can you test if this image also causes your phone's image viewing app to crash?

I need some help regarding to the stock browser. when i want to upload af picture to any site. it doesnt pop-up with the normal screen where it asks if i want to take a picture or browse through gallery e.c. it goes directly to the folder where my pictures are saved. the problem is i cant se thumbnails of all the pictures..i have stock 3.2 no root no nothing. tryed to flash a clean stock rom and whipe all settings.
So I've just installed a Google Edition rom on my i9505, clean wipe obviously, and I have encountered a problem.. When I export a image from Dropbox onto either the internal or external SD, the image appears as a blank dark grey square in Quickpic/Gallery. For downloaded images from chrome they appear fine, and it only seems to happen with images over 3Mb.. And when I open Quickpic the whole gallery slows down, and if I delete the Dropbox exported photo it goes back to normal. Does anyone else experience this issue? Or know of a fix?
I Flashed Android 5.0 lollipop beta 8 of Team canjica, then i reflashed back to ozcan rom v6.3, now the problem is that I'm not able to share pic from Gallery app ( or any substitute gallery app ) to whatsapp or other apps, what i noticed is that I'm able from share the pics which are in stored in memory card from gallery app, and those stored in internal memory, when i share it shows sharing failed.
Please help me as soon as possible.
Hi guys! I've just updated my gallery app from a downloaded apk file. I thought that the new version have improved UI, new settings.... But nothing what I expected. Furthermore gallery disappeared from the app drawer. Even if I want to open it from camera, it doesn't. I went to application manager, tried to uninstall updates and phone reboots.
If someone has a solution for this, I'll appreciate!
May be a backup of stock gallery all would help!

I am facing one very annoying problem.
In Google chrome if you long press on one image it gives you the option to save image.
When you save it a white arrow appears in notification bar and the picture appear in Download folder in gallery.
Thats not the case entirely although in my case.
Whenever i download a picture the arrow appears but is grey and the gallery updates download folder after several minutes.
I Have tried everything regarding media storage app disable enable,clear cache ,flash twrp and wiped internal storage,factory reset, flashed 2 stock kdz ,flashed kitkat,etc.
The problem remains and i seriously need help from someone who faced this nightmare and fixed it. No temporary using media scanner app from market, but once and for all. This issue happens with Google Chrome. Ofcouse i reinstalled the app.
What i have seen is that if i factory reset the Google Chrome app and get the version 39 the problem dissapears and everything works.
Please someone who knows this Help.
