Hey!
I can't seem to find any samples or anyone even showing or mentioning the results of the front facing camera in any review.. From what I have seen on the z1 is that the pictures of the front facing camera are grainy like crazy if the light isn't perfect. Anyone knows if the slightly better hardware of the z2 camera gives out a better end result? Maybe anyone of you can link to some pictures on the web.
Thanks!
The front camera is just a 2mp ish camera which really all you want it for is 'selfies' which it will do the job.
From the samples I have seen Im pretty pleased with the results of the rear camera and low light pictures definately look acceptable.
Im on the LG G2 now and the camera is awesome, the pictures I take are amazing, until the light starts to fade, then it takes about 3 seconds to focus, if the object is moving its blurry and looks like a cartoon. Im just hoping the Z2 gives me the awesome pictures in daylight and ok pictures in low light which are not blured, that will do me. But as always I wont know until I test under my own uniqe conditions.

Hi,
This phone is great in all aspects but the camera. I have tried quite a few ROMs n camera apps. But the quality of the pics are bad.
Issues are:
1. Pics look washed out n soft
2. Pics look like taken at very low resolution. little zooming will reveal granularity even if the photo take at 13mp
3. Even slightly bright light source in the subject area puts a huge bright cloudy spot in the pic. Please refer to attached pic for example.
Can you suggest if this is common or hardware problem? Or any solution?

Looks very bad compared to the shots I get. Is the protective film still over the camera lense?

I have mixed feelings for this camera. Sometimes it takes amazing pictures, others it just takes Ok pictures, but totally washed out.
On the link above, some examples at many locations, such as a living room, outdoor party, pool party, at a bar and at a race track, night.
Every photo has been properly focused, taken with Xdabbeb mod and the lens were cleansed prior the shoot.
Hi guys i have been messing with the video camera on the note 4 but when i press the video button the image is blurred for a 4k camera. I had this problem on the camera but resolved it when i took the ISO setting value to 100 which sharpened the image up considerably and it looked like a 2k 4k shot, but when you press the video mode button it overrides these setting and brings back the blur, does anyone know of a fix please it would be much appreciated i i go on my holidays soon and want to capture some nice shots without the dreaded blur.
Many Thanks
remove the invisible plastic from the lens. scratch the edge with your fingernails and it will be visible.
The plastic is already off
have you taken off one plastic or two ? There are two plastics covering the lens.
No all the plastic is off 1 have double checked

I can report blur on pictures. Definitely a problem. Videos however are OK for me.
Pictures are not sharp and boundaries of objects in pic are blurry.

Couldn't find a thread that has a collection of people's photos, so here we are
Nice photos, I've taken a few so far and have to say I'm pretty impressed!

Took this one yesterday afternoon (used lens blur)
Shot a few more today, mushrooms were shot in very low light but have come out pretty nicely. Auto on for all shots, not been touched in anyway.

The whiskey/water was the first pic I took on the phone. I used the built in blur feature for it.
Other than the first pic, with the blur, non of these pics have been touched or edited in any way.
Shot of the drinks and dogs are in fairly normal lighting.
I was at a huge all weekend concert this last weekend and these are two of my favorites.
Stage and the sky were taken around/just after dusk.
Close up of the stage was pitch black outside. Not zoomed in, just how close I was to the stage (seeing Tool for the second time ).

Here are some low-light photos for your scrutinization pleasure. . .
And some more. Took multiples of the pirate skeleton for comparison purposes.
Had anyone tried taking a photosphere yet, I tried it earlier and it is incredible how well the phone can stick together a full spherical photo, it is going to look stunning with the daydream headset on!
One of mine.
Just a quick shot of a bubble.
The picture with the cats is in low light. The other was in my parents bathroom.
Drive to work and casserole for our potluck today
Took these today.

One original and then the snapseed edited version. I do love this phone!
Playing with lens blur.
These are two of my favourites so far. No editing or filters. Just point and shoot
Took the kids to a Halloween event at the zoo today.

Check if lens if fitted properly (not covering any sensor) and the quality of lens itself(plastic or glass). Try other camera with different settings and see if it is still there.
Mostly issue would be of lens itslef.
