Custom HTC Home Clocks, Icons, Weather [New Files 11/21/07]

OK, so I've decided to simplify this mess and make it easier on everyone (myself mostly). I have put all my clocks, icon sets, and weather sets into their own ZIP files. Just keep what you want and toss the ones you don't in the round file. As I add new sets, I will just update the ZIP archives. I have added a couple new clocks, some nice icon sets, and several new weather sets. As always, you can open the folder with the set or clock you want and copy it straight into your HTC Home folder (disable it in your Today settings first) or copy the folders into the appropriate subfolder in FILES if you have Emu's HTC Home Customizer (which I endorse fully!) and have everything at your beck and call. You can get Emu's HTC Home Customizer here.
NOTES: The Flat Weather Set comes in black and white (as do a few of the clocks). The NYT Weather set looks shabby in the GIF, but I have since tweaked it. Oh, and I updated a few of my icons sets. Just minor stuff. As always, if you have any problems or suggestions, let me know.

Hmmm.... No idea, though I know I've seen some that are very similar. I'll keep an eye out for them.
P.S. If you find the artwork, let me know and I'll convert it.

Any files will work, actually. JPG, GIF, PNG... If you find something, PM me.

Yes, you can add my folders to Emu's Customizer and have them available as options. Just put my folder(s) in the appropriate sub-folder in Emu's program (clocks in clocks, weather in weather, etc.).
I actually have thought of putting them all in one ZIP or RAR file. I keep adding sets, though (I've finished a new weather set just now), so I keep putting it off. I'd love to make a CAB eventually that will just jam everything neatly into the correct Emu sub-folders.
I'll work on the ZIP or RAR file... I should have done it already.

This skin is similar to the one above, but instead of the yellow lock-symbol
the todays forecast is shown

The clock in the screenshots above is converted from a HTC Home Customizer theme.
Therefore it's bigger than the original S2U2 font.
I'm afraid it will only fit to screen with a 24h clock.
To use it copy all files from clock.zip in your S2U2\gfx\clock folder and overwrite existing files.
(Backup original files before)

Added a second theme in the first post with the same style,
but the todays forecast weather icon instead of the lock-symbol.

Right, OK feel like I'm going nuts here!
I've got the new clock and the new background (thanks for both ) BUT I can't get the big weather ICON - I've definately copied over all the icons etc. I've tried soft-resetting - that doesn't work....
I'm using SPB Weather, on a Kaiser.....
Any help for this numpty appreciated!

Hm.. but u had the same named weathericons in s2u2\gfx\weather before
so u had to overwrite?
I use sbsh pocketweather and it works like a charm.
In lack of other Weatherprograms i can't test it with anything else :-/

another idea:
Have u updated to 0.99?
Weather display was changed there

I'm too at 0.99, but i'm using SPB Weather. I don't see the greater icons . Perhaps S2u2 takes weather.png instead of single images

The Big Weather Icons works only with SBSH Pocket Weather.

No big icon
I tried SPB Weather and also HTC Weather. But it didn´t work with the big icons.
Copied with ActiveSync and also with cardreader (just to be sure the images were not compressed).

Ok, I asked A_C because of that:
Only SPB Weather uses the combined weather-image.
So it should work with every weatherapp except SPB Weather.

So perhaps dodo-dk knows it better than the programmer himself?
I got positive response from 2 guys, but both also use sbsh weather.
To be sure there's nothing wrong with my or your Zip-App:
the weather icons 1.png - 47.png + NA.png are in s2u2\gfx\weather\ and not in s2u2\gfx\ ?
What happens with your weather view in S2U2 if u can't see the big icons?

Yes for me still have small icons on the left and i have checked all if ok for files and dir

Ok, seems like S2U2 doesn't support single weather icons for your weather app.
To be sure: take a look at the s2u2\gfx\weather\weather.png
If your weather look like the icons in this image you won't be able to use the
big icons with your weatherapp and S2U2.

I've made an icon strip for S2U2 weather status. It works with SPB weather, I don't know if the same file is used to display icons for HTC weather and other options in S2U2 weather status. Just copy and overwrite it to Program Files/S2U2/gfx/weather/

They look great, but is there a zip file for it? These will work on any weather app. Each icon has a specific name, "2.png", for example. Each weather forecast gives a specific code for the current status which then shows that specific icon, like 2=Hot!, so it shows "2.png".

I've made icons for SPB Weather, before I've realized that S2U2 uses that icon stripe to display icons. I don't know if they work correcty, but here you go.
Usage:
1. Copy to Program Files/SPB Weather/Diamond/
2. In SPB Weather in Menu/Skins add the dir in step 1.
3. In View, 'Choose skin' select Diamond
Done.

It's all said in the first post...
Just replace the existing weather.png in [S2U2 install dir]\gfx\weather with the image in the first post.
Restart ilock2 and there you go.

how can i put this strip of icons into the weather folder in S2U2 when all the other weather images are individual for each condition, any help, it can't be as simple as just dropping the whole strip into the weather folder.

This will not work for me. I put the picture in my folder but they are not changing.

where's this clock from? it's very nice, i'd have a go at a diamond version

i gave it a shot given the time i had available..
its not perfect but its not as easy to work with a jpeg as compared to png icons
anyway in the screenshot below i dont have a background for the clock, so thats why only the numbers can be seen
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the zip file. There are 2 folders. "Numbers" contains ONLY the numbers in the screenshot. "Transparant Clock Background" has the files required to make it look just like in the screenshot
1. Deactivate TF3D
2. Open total commander (or anything that can modify system files)
3. Copy the manila files to the Windows directory on your phone.
4. Reactivate TF3D
I cant make cabs at the moment so in case you cant do this maybe someone can pack it...

Or type digital clock on search, you will get plenty of colors on digital clocks, i have seen a red digy clock that looked really cool.

its the old school icon theme that i made.search for old school and you will find it

HandCalendar can support such clock.

These themes are for stock TF3D with flip clock. Will not work on Sprint or Analog clocks.
Modded icons, clock and bottom bar and slider in each theme. You can install all separately or together - all zips attached.
Each theme includes 11 icons - Home, People, Call history, SMS, Email, Programs, Settings, Photo, Music, Weather, Web
INSTALL:
Copy manila files to Windows folder using Resco Explorer or Total Commander.
The CFC compressed versions are smaller and should be faster but will only work with a Manila version patched for using CFC (ROMeOS is already CFC ready). If you don't know about CFC take a look HERE.

Hi, Thanks for the themes. They look really cool. I want to report a small thing. There is a little space between the icon bar and the bottom menu. If you have menus which are scrollable in TF3D tabs, you can see then in the little space.
