Xposed installer doesn't work

Hi guys.... I have rooted my note 3 N900 and the xposed installer apk seems to be not working. Anyone else facing the same problem?

How did you do? When i try to install apk it says installation failed

Copy this apk directly to system folder.....u must b rooted

Copy apk to priv-app, set correct permission and restart.

I doubt it...
rooting on xiaomi is Easier than another phone..just download the right Root file

Can you please provide me working link for WSM Tools for my Redmi Note. ? ? I tried searching on MiUi forum, but couldn't find one working quite successfully.
Also it would be nice if I get a installation guide as well since I am quite new to MiUi OS despite having a very long experience in Android.
Waiting for a response.
