Just got the Galaxy S6 on Friday and put together a video demonstrating how to set it up using Tap and Go. I also unbox the phone and talk a bit about the headphones. More videos to come!

BIG Bass Demo + Galaxy Note Unboxing? A first...lol

Ok folks....besides being a tech junkie ....i'm also a BASS junkie! LOL I work at a stereo shop and i'm a youtube partner. I mostly upload car audio videos....well i just uploaded a little hybrid vid....it's a Bass demo( i have 6 15's in my suv) + a galaxy note unboxing! Check it out....it's worth a giggle or 2.

How is the video camera's audio?

I am wanting to pick one up today but I would like to know if the audio on the video recording is good? I have an EVO 4g and if i try to take a video at a concert or loud setting it is worthless. I would like to be able to record live music and have it sound decent, is it possible with an unmodded S3?
+1 on this.
I have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus and the audio is absolutely worthless in a concert setting. I came from the Droid X and it actually performed quite well in that same setting so I was disappointed with the GNex. I have an SGIII preordered through Verizon and I'm hoping the audio won't crack up and break like the GNex does.
my brother has the droid razr and he just recorded a bunch of a recent Roger Waters The Wall concert and it was great for a phone, if the S3 is as good as that I would be happy.
I went to the Coldplay concert last week, I'll upload the vid and give you the link when it's done. I'll be honest, the sound quality gets distorted when the bass kicks in.

That's what I kept experiencing with the GNex. There was an acoustic song that sounded fine, but as soon as bass kicked in, to crap it went.
I tested mine at a concert the other night and the video was decent but audio was horribly distorted and static filled. My old BB Torch will be kept around for concert videos until I decide to buy a separate video camera. Kinda disappointed actually...but so far that seems to be my only complaint with this phone and since it's a phone and not a video camera that's ok by me really since I have a way of recording other than this phone.

the audio on video recording is, maybe, the only flaw I can see on this device. Fortunately it is not a dealbreaker for me

Samsung Galaxy Note GT N7000 new 4.0.4 Firmware Review

Hey Guys! I have made a full in depth review on the new Official 4.0.4 Firmware on the Galaxy Note GT N7000. This review will hopefully cover the performance, Interface, benchmarks and some other little things about the new firmware.
In this second video i will cover the new PoP up Player which has been included in the new firmware. This feature was first seen on the Galaxy S III and now is seen to be present on the new firmware as well. Check it out!
I think Super (Floating) Video might be better than the pop-play. It has resizable, slide to adjust volume and brightness, etc.
Thanks for the videos though.

Front camera quality?

Hi there.
I've been thinking about buying the Tab 2 10.1 or the Note 10.1 but I'm in a bit of a struggle witch one I should go for
because I'll be using it a quite with Skype on the go with my family and I was wondering the quality through the front camera.
I know the Tab 2 has only a VGA and the Note has 1.9 MP but there is a bit of a price difference on those two tabs.
So my questions are witch one should I go for and how is the video quality on the front camera on the Tab 2?
I'll also use the tab to surfing the web, email, little note taking, watch movie and listening to music
Thanks

get the note, if you are going to be a power user, i.e. work, making documents, etc.
get the tab 2, if you are going to just goof around.

And a bigger price tag to go with it.
A higher resolution video stream is going to require a lot more bandwidth to use on both ends. Also, isn't the important thing just being able to see the other person clearly? What is the need for a high resolution camera for video chat? In the limited use I've given my FFC, it looks good enough. I'd never replace a normal camera with it, but I feel it would be fine for video chatting.
It depends on your use , if you want to use it as primary device or just for light surfing and chatting
I think the life span or period note will stay with you will be more as better specifications may mean you will not need to change it soon, but it depends on the software updates , when will it stop officially and unofficially

Hi there again and sorry for late response but I've been busy in work.
Thanks for the replies. I think I'm leaning towards the Note 10.1 but still not sure. It's a difficult one for me. I think I'm mostly affraid that if choose
the Tab 2 I'll maybe regred not spending more and get the higher spec. tablet or if choose the not I'll regred spending too much on something I
didn't really need. The tablet will be a primary device and replacing my laptop in a way, of course not fully as the tablet doesn't support
everything a laptop or a PC does, but mostly.
If I decide on the Note I know I will not be using the S-Pen very much but I like the fact it can split the screen and use 2 apps at once because I
like surfing the web while I'm watching a episode or movie.
I will be video chatting mainly on my home wifi but also some on cellular connection and of course, like someone pointed it out, the most
important goal is for the other person to see me clearly.
I went to the local store to play with both tablets and checked out the difference between both front cameras and there is a big quality
difference but the quality in the camera app is not the same as when you are chatting through a video call through the internet and that was the
reason why I asked about the quality on Tab 2 front camera.

recording concert videos...is the sound washed out?

On the Note 1, Nexus 5 and S4 active, when you are a concert and want to video a song, the sound is so loud that it gets, for lack of a better term, blown out.
I'm thinking of buying the Note 4 but want to make sure I can take good videos with sound.
If the Note 4 won't work, is the Galaxy S5 any better?
I tried the iPhone 6+ which is awesome, but I just can't see spending upwards of almost $900 when I can get a new s4 from www.StambicMerchant.net for $450. Any comments on this merchant btw?
You're recording a concert with a freakin phone. It's not like you're using a Sennheiser stereo professional mic for that.
Don't record concerts, period. Watch the show and stop blocking someone else's view being that obnoxious cellphone recording guy.
