How it is working with KitKat 4.4.2?

Rooting Elife E7 Chinese version
Hi,
I have a 32GB Elife E7 (bought from China)and its still on 4.2.2 without the possibility to update it to 4.4. I would like to root it and update it to another android version for 2 things mainly:
1. My camera is working but its unable to shoot video
2. to de-install some of the standard annoying apps.
Is this possible with the Chinese model? Are there differences between the Indian and the Chinese model? Can I install the Indian 4.4 stock ROM on my Chinese elife e7?
Thanks for helping me out!

I have installed CWM 6.0.4.4 (Chinese semi-touch version) on my LG G2 F320S with factory shipped firmware 4.2.2 build F320S11k, rooted via Towelroot.
Is it safe to flash this Kitkat over Jellybean? I have already made nandroid and EFS backups just in case.
And yes, I've already tried other methods in updating firmware to no avail:
- LG Flash Tool 2014 keeps crashing on 3 different computers I've tested.
- LG Mobile Support Tool (stuck on loading forever, probably because it's being blocked by our company's firewall)
- OTA (couldn't because I've already installed custom recovery. I don't wanna try flashing stock recovery using adb)
Thank you very much!
I'm also trying to upgrade from JB to KK and having issues locating a method.

kitkat for Qmobile Z5(Gionee Elife E7) Pakistan
I have Gionee Eife E7 branded as Qmobile Z5 in Pakistan. I bought it from there but currently i am present in Saudi Arabia. I heard that the kitkat update arrived in march and since then have been searching ways of updating my phone but as my phone doesn't give the option to auto update i am still stuck on Jelly Bean. Is there a way i can update my phone to Kitkat manually? If so then what's the procedure and what are the risks involved. Waiting for a response thanks.

Thanks devs, successfully root my SM-E700H with Root CH-autoroot-E7 Galaxy E7. :good:
Yes knox has been trigger
One question after rooting with this method is there any chance to Untrip Knox?
No, of course. Knox is based on an eFuse which once triggered it can't be untriggered again bec. it's set to read-only memory!
Nevermind. I only see that there is knox and custom binary if only I enter boatloader.
Seems stock rom running fine for me and no fc at all.
thanks for the reply.
does it work on lollipop 5.1.1?

Hey guys. So glad I found this thread.. Just got one of these phones for the women and it is full of adds. While we're waiting for a custom Rom does anyone have any suggestions on how to minimise the bloat ware? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
