Atomic GB 7.0 is the best rom i've used on this phone. Better than stock GB, better than mooded ICS. In my opinion best rom for Arc/S. Edit:I founded a another GB based rom called "X-GAMER" i think it's better than Atomic GB 7.0. If you want to test it here is the link :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1905575 This rom is based on GB so chainfire and adrenobooster will work on this Rom.
First of all you will need:
• Root
• CWM or TWRP
• Unlocked BL
And download these:
Adreno Booster

DooMKerneL& wifi modules
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1172885
How to install Rom&Adreno Booster and kernel:
• Flash kernel in flashtool with fastboot option
• Enter CWM on doomkernel vol down.
• Do a factory reset& Wipe data
• Go to advanced and wipe dalvik cache
• Go to mounts and storage and format/system
• Now install zip from sd card
• Flash Rom and then fix
• Now flash wifi modules for DooMKerneL and then the Adreno Booster
If you're done everything correctly the device should boot into system.
Now you will need to download these apps:
Ram Manager Pro
HTML:
http://www.apkhere.com/app/com.smartprojects.ramoptimization
Ram Expander
HTML:
http://www.apkhere.com/app/com.swapit.expander.de
SetCpu
HTML:
http://www.apkhere.com/app/com.mhuang.overclocking
If the Ram Expander is not working on your device just download the Swapper from google play.
And if you want you can download Chainfire3D from google play.
I personally use the task killer but its not necesarry.
Install all apps and then configure all of em:
SetCpu:
Overclock: 1.6ghz or 1.8ghz
Governor: smartassV2
scheduler: Sio
Ram Manager Pro:
Choose option "MAX PERFORMANCE"
Ram Expander:
Choose size of swap file [1024mb] and click "swap activ" button.
Now your phone should be alot better, faster, than stock.
If this thread helped you dont forgive to like this thread Bye ! :highfive:

[ROM - 1.2] CyanogenMod 7 nightlies for the GTab [Updated: 07-27-2011]

As suggested, I have decided to make my own thread for the Cyanogenmod nightlies and other ROMs. It will make things a lot easier in the long run.
Disclaimer: as with the other Roms, Use at your own risk! Since the CM7 nightlies are basically an ongoing beta, you run the risk to brick your Gtab if you are not careful. Use to learn NxFlash first before attempting to flash ROMS. Also, do yourself a favor and get Titanium Backup! Always backup yours apps/settings and wipe data/cache/dalvik before flashing.
These will be using the bootloader's 1.2 Pershoot's kernel (2.6.32.43 / 1.4 ghz Kernel) for GB. This ROM works with the Gtab and should work with the ZPAD altough I have no confirmation of this yet.
Thanks goes out to: Team Douche/Cyanogenmod Devs for making a great ROM, Zyhong for showing me how to update to 1.2 and a few more tricks, Maxdamage for taking the time to compile the nightlies for 1.1 users, Pershoot for making such a great kernel and Roebeet for being the one that inspired me to take my journey down the Android rom lane.
Issues:
1) Once you set up DSPmanager, it force crashes.
1) Vanilla CM7 nightly (only vold.fstab was modified):
Latest build: Build 07262011 (Changelog)
2) Modified version of the ROM: CM7Tab build 07272011
Changes in modified version
1) replaced DSPmanager.apk with a previous version that is known to work (7.0.3) (if you open it, it FCs)
2) vold.fstab is setup as sdcard for internal storage & emmc for external card
3) using pershoot's 2.6.32.43 GB kernel for 1.2 bootloader (For more info, check his blog.
4) Read_ahead_kd increased from 128 to 2048.
5) Set up overclocking by default and battery saver script + cpu governors via userinit.sh (from Zyhong's ROM, based on Caulkin's scripts).
6) Replaced Camera libs & apk to stop the 8-bit pixelling.
7) Changed values for lowmemorykiller (07102011).
8- Increased dalvik.vm.heapsize to 64m (07102011)
9) Set some values to improve video playback (07272011)
RC1 version of the rom with changes: 7.1.0 RC1 with Pershoot 42 kernel
(Sorry if this is short but I will improve the thread as it goes)
To-do list:
1) remove some apks (such as Rom manager) & create a removed apks folder.
2) change the EMMC to Sdcard2
If you have suggestions/ideas, do not hesitate to share them.

SwapSD
as of NeatKernel v1.10 and above we will use this trick to switch between storage.
the easy way is to flash this aroma flashable zip and follow the steps.
the hard way is to modify /system/.neatkernel/swapsd from "swapsd=0" to "swapsd=1"
delete /system/.neatkernel/swapsd will go back to stock storage status.
Dual recovery (twrp and cwm)
cwm is default recovery.
how to boot in twrp?
Just hit any volume keys after vibrate to boot into twrp recovery.
Will you release a kitkat rom also? Anw, thank you for your hard work to bring kitkat to us

Will this work with OmniRom?
EDIT: Nevermind. Had a brain fart. Just read it in the OmniRom thread.
Hello, tried to flash it in top of CyanAOSP 1.1.0 and gives error about different partition layout and if try to flash again it gonna delete data. Thats normal? I have the rom already set and running good to set again. Normally flashin kernels never have to set everything again.
Thanks!

It depends on the partition scheme you were before: on 4.3 there were 2 partition scheme used, one with a bigger system, like NeatKernel.
If you already had the bigger system partition, is not needed for the kernel to repartition again.
If you have the system partition small, it will repartition.

Swap Internal With External
Love the Kernel. Been using it since yesterday and haven't had a single issue. I was wondering however if you could compile a kernel (fork) that switches sdcard0 and sdcard1 in fstab.aries.
At least until a more suitable solution is found.
Thanks in advance.
That's great! Do we have any configuration tool?

Thanks man I really appreciate the effort. You have no idea how many people this will help and probably bring over to this rom in general due to the single kernel mod. Hell I was trying to find a way to Macky 4.4 ROM just for the fact that they took the time to make an extra kernel for those of use with broken internal sdcards.
Thanks again, and keep up the good work!

Very good, I waiting PhilZ Kernel a long time xD
Thank you!
Well, after lot of test I think the Wi-Fi bug is only happening on PLUS and, therefore, PLUS+OC kernel.
It's weird because I didn't touch anything related to Wi-Fi.
I apologize to those who installed them, and further to those who tried the alternative installation method without result.
I'll built them again from scratch and report back.

Yes, but lot of user reported PLUS was working fine. Maybe they thought they were installing PLUS but instead, they were restoring the default kernel backup.

It seems that the kernels aren't working fine on CM 11. I don't know why, but I'll ask TeamCanjica for help.
Tnx for fast answer.
Btw, your script is making backup of kernel and coping new modules to system/modules folder,
but if is needed restore old kernel, modules files are new and is problem because they are not working with old kernel
Good, that I did myself copy of these files.

Thanks for report bro!, I forgot the modules backup. Anyway you can use DEFAULT kernel to restore them.
But I'll edit the script to backup those files and I'll re-upload them.

QMobile Noir A9: Fully Working Android Ver. 4.2.2

QMobile Noir A9
Fully Working Android Ver. 4.2.2
for QMobile Noir A9, Fly IQ Trend, Myphone A888, Wiko Cink Peax and Intex Aqua Wonder
Good news for those who still have A9 and other mentioned phones in the heading that a much better JB 4.2.2 is available online for download.
This ROM is finalized by a few faces from Forum.Frandroid.com for Wiko Cink Peax (French version) and is not my work at all except that I had to tweak it so that everything works smoothly as in JB 4.1. I had to patch it because when I installed the ROM, it was very laggy and did not allow me to work without frustration. Moreover, I am using A9 hence, build.prop was to be arranged for such requirements too.
You will be installing this ROM at your own risk. I and the developers making it possible will not be held responsible if anything goes wrong. By the way, it is so simple to follow the process so don't worry.
Don't try it on other devices than mentioned above.
Special Thanks to;
1. Qus1, Pratikmore and Kimo06
2. My|Phone for releasing JB 4.2.2 for Amoi N820
3. Google for such a great OS
5. noobpremium for Universal MTK performance package
6. Ryuinferno for Universal init.d Support and other developers whose work is inside this ROM
How to install:
1. Do a full backup of your current ROM before proceeding (this is a precautionary move in case you don’t like the ROM, you can switch back)
2. I will recommend using TWRP Recovery in order to get a full backup including boot, data, system and android secure
3. Now reboot the mobile and manually delete all the hidden folders starting with dot (.) both from internal memory and external memory
4. Rename the folder “Android” to “Android.b” in order to get back your data files of games after installation
5. Restart in TWRP and wipe dalvic cache, cache, data, android secure and system
6. Now install jb2v2-8.zip
7. Later install A9Patch.zip. Other mobile users should not install the zip.
8. Wipe Cache and Dalvic Cache and restart the phone which will take a few minutes to ready the new ROM
9. Fill the information required for starting up the phone
10. Press Menu and start Universal init.d app, allow it root permission and then press Activate , later press Verify to check if init.d is supported.
12. Open Terminal Emulator in ROM Toolbox app and write "su". Give the root permission. Now the icon in emulator will change from "$" to "#". Now write "mtkod" and press enter. Processing will be done and later phone will restart itself.
11. Now all the work is done. You are ready to enjoy the Awesomeness of Jelly Bean 4.2.2
Pros:
1. Lots of Free RAM
2. New Snap Camera app with its Gallery (Stock Gallery is removed due to lack of customization and for auto-focus bug in Video capture)
3. Can fully utilize the Xposed Installer, GravityBox and other exposed apps for theming and animating etc.
4. Tethering, Hotspot, Bluetooth, WIFI and GPS working :good:
5. Better performance and color reproduction due to optimizations in build.prop and MTK performance package
6. Init.d is supported and few scripts are given in the added zips
BUGS:
1. Pinkish Camera result when capturing in low light
2. Slight lag during installing and uninstalling apps. Usage of battery doctor is essential for task killing and battery optimization
3. Others you tell me

If you want to increase the performance to MAXIMUM further you can download any Kernel control app like Device control, Trickster mod Kernel tweak from playstore and put the cpu governor in CONSERVATIVE mode and Read head buffer size 1024kb. That's it.
Credits to Robshr, JZ shimer, Lam Haong, Paget96
Update: Found that mobile performs smooth and less heat when setting up the CPU frequency min 300 and max 1574 and CPU governor in conservative mode.
Putting Batter Saver ON will reduce the heat produced by the screen.
