[Q] Constant notification sound goes off 5.0.1 - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Rooted S4 on stock. Went from 4.4 to 5.0.1 OTA. Since then, the notification sounds constantly even when there are no notifications. I have muted notifications to stop it but that means I dont get notified for text etc
Anyone else experiencing this or any workarounds?
Thanks

[Q] N4 stock 4.3, low notification volume

Hi!
My Nexus 4 arrived yesterday. I unpacked it, put my SIM card in, updated to 4.3, didn't have time to add any apps. Everything seems ok, even notifications are not being delayed on WiFi, but notification volume seems really low compared to ringer volume. I tried a few different notification sounds, that didn't help.
Has anyone experienced this with 4.3? Is there an easy fix?
I would appreciate your suggestions Thanks!

[Q] Sound turns on by itself

I couldn't find any other threads discussing this so my apologies in advance if it has but I missed.
I recently updated to android 4.3 in the last week or so, and all of a sudden the sound turns itself on without me doing anything. I normally keep my phone in vibrate mode (from the notification bar) and once or twice a day, my phone will switch itself to sound on mode. Anybody have this problem or experienced this?

problem with notifications sounds note 3

I have this problem. Suddenly my note 3 doesn't make notifications sounds!!! No email sound, not SMS sound, not hangouts and Facebook sounds. But all the notifications icons appear in the notification bar. If I make a device restart....everything is OK but after some hours the problem is here again.
Yes I have already made two hard resets but no solution!!!
And yes the problem was started after the upgrade to 4.4.2 kit kat.
I am not rooted and the phone is original.
Please any idea?????

No notification LED while on mute after 5.0

So since the 5.0 update whenever I have my phone on silent the blinking blue led no longer activates to indicate I have a message, email, missed call etc. I've tested this and it still works correctly while on vibrate or sound.
Does anyone else have this problem or know how to make it work again?
I'm running stock, unrooted OTA from verizon

I have no idea what Google could have been thinking to want to completely change how notifications and silent vib ring are supposed to interact. Light Flow kind of patches things together, kind of. Timerific is screwed up, any sound, ringer, vib widgets no longer work. The "priority interruption" nonsense is so limited in it's function that you can't use it and it seems that's what all of the changes were supposed to be for. Every time i go into a meeting i wonder what kind of unexpected noises are going to come out of my phone!
So, try Light Flow, LED works when phone is silent.

Random Notification Sound After MM Update

Ok, so I've been running the stock Lollipop (rooted) on my Sprint S5 for a little over a year. Recently unrooted, then did the OTA update to Marshmallow which for the most part went well.
However, since updating to Marshmallow, I'm getting a random notification sound that is happening. There is no visible activity, action or notification when the notification sound happens. It happens if the phone is on standby, or even if I'm actively using it. The sound is kind of a "drop" noise. Sounds somewhat like the Facebook or Hangouts message notification sound, but a deeper tone. I've disabled tons of settings, looked through all the menus and options, and nothing so far has identified what it is that is causing it. Thinking maybe if I could find the sound file for the notification it would help figure out what was causing it I've even searched the entire storage of the phone for all audio files and can't even find that specific notification sound, so it must be something embedded in the OS or an app/service.
Any thoughts or similar experiences?
Thanks in advance for any help or insight.
I can't be the only one experiencing this. Anyone? :/
