Hi everyone.
I have a Moto Defy with red lens, it has MIUI pikachu edition 2.xy, it's not giving me any problems, except that when I installed Modern Combat 2, downloaded de SD data, and started the game, when it's checking license it crashes and returns me to the main menu.
I tried installing Asphalt 6 (another Gameloft game) and it works perfectly, then I tried also with NOVA 2, but it has kinda the same problem, after the video presentation, when it's loading, it crashes, just like Modern Combat.
Does anyone has this problem too? Does it have a solution? Thank you :fingers-crossed:
PD: Sorry for my poor english
Edit: PD2: Both games used to run well when I had CM7.2

I already installed Chainfire, it's not the problem, because it used to work with or without chainfire when i had CM7. I think it could be a compability problem, could be?
Just got my LG G2 D806 from Personal Argentina, since this carrier loads their roms full of cr*p that i don't want, i would like to flash a new rom, so first i need to know:
1) Which recovery (preferably TWRPM) should i use
2) Which comunity ROM keeps most of the "useful" features the phone ships with (IR Remove / Knock to Wake etc etc )
Thanks!
To reply my own question, at least par of it, i was able to succesfully flash TWRP on the D806 by using the files for the D802, i used this tutorial:
http://theunlockr.com/2013/11/03/flash-custom-recovery-lg-g2-versions-video/
TWRP for this device can be downloaded from:
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/g2d802.
Now i need some suggestions on what ROM to try.

Expect this to be closed shortly. ROM comparison threads don't last too long on here.
Regarding your question, I prefer TWRP, but both recoveries are useful and effective. For ROMs, best to browse the developer subforum for your particular variant and give a few a try. The answer to which ROM is best is highly subjective (and leads to flaming/trolling, hence the reason this'll be closed soon). What one finds to be the best could be different than your opinion. Try a bunch and see which one meets your needs/expectations.

Knowing you have to use English or at least Google Translate English as the language for each post, I had to traduce your post with Google Translate. If I understand, you flashed V10K and then rooted your phone and flashed CM11 but LG showed your device was running V20d ?

I have a question for you!
I mention that I had CM11 by Cr3pt Android 4.4.2
I flashuit my LG-P700 with Android 4.0.3 ROM V10K!
And when I connected to the "LG Mobile Support Tool"
and made the update to Android 4.1.2 rom v20d is normal?
And LG-P700 or not the root register?

So, if you want to know if V20D corresponds to Android 4.1.2, it depends of your carrier but anyway yes it's the good version.
If you want to know if while your device runs CM11 and LG Mobile Support Tool shows you have a V20D ROM, it's normal since it's the base ROM.
But I didn't understand your question with the root !

Because my phone once connected to the "LG Mobile Support Tool" and made updates automatically! I understand that the phone does not register the root!

Ok
Once your phone is rooted, you still can update it if it runs v10 because V20 is the last update for our phone. But you'll probably lose root access. LG Mobile Support Toot doesn't detect root access on your device, so it updates automatically to the latest version !

TRADUCERE ROMANA:
Hello, I really need help ... I own a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530FZ blocked after many official ROM installation of the software on Windows Odin.exe hangs on System.img.ext4 I waited a good twenty minutes but the installation hangs on every ROM I try and I do not know how to remedy its
Here I hope you can help me ...
waiting for your reponce, good evening

Hello electrodydy,
Did you try going in your recovery and format all the data before flashing à new rom ? If you install a rom on another rom without wiping your device you may block it.
So try to format the data and wipe your cache then plug your device, and flash à STOCK rom with Odin
//
MrIeuc

Hello again,
I'm glad that you have a ROM working on your device. Unfortunetely, the ROM you just installed is a Beta cyanogenmod ROM in developpement. There are bugs , issues , and more that the developpers are working on. I had the same problem, I flashed this Cyanogenmod 12 ROM with TWRP and everything was working except the camera, sms and calls. ( could send a message but not receive one ).
The two solutions for you are :
1 - Waiting several weeks or months for the developpers to fix all the bugs
2- Trying flashing another stock rom ( I got mine on live.samsung-updates.com, as we are french, take the "XEF" ROM. This ROM is a 5.0.2 stock that you can flash with ODIN)
I really hope for you to fix your problem !
Friendly,
MrIeuc

just one last quick question : is there a risk that the ROM becomes unstable after having root the phone ?

Hello ! I am very happy that I could be useful !
About the risk of the root, it depends on how do you root your phone. If you root your phone by flashing a "pre-rooted" rom, then there is a risk since the rom could be damaged. If you root your phone with your actual rom, there is a risk too but it's very rare. In all cases, there is always a risk of blocking / bricking your device but you can come back here and we will help you
Anyway, if you get in trouble with your phone again , it will be a pleasure to help you !
PS : Sorry I could not answer faster, I was very busy these last days.
Have a nice day,

Hello everyone,
I have this old Tab 2 10.1 that belongs to my mother and she hasn't used it in a while (Don't know the exact model). I unlocked the boot loader and want to flash it, but I was wondering what's the latest Android it could support. I tried Lineage OS 13.x but it's not good.
Can anyone recommend a ROM I can download for this model? Thanks!
EDIT: It's a GT-P5110
Depends on what you mean by "Best". If latest we have Oreo which is work in progress, but usually people use Marshmallow roms
Will the Oreo ROM work better than Nougat?
I heard someone said the best rom is OmniROM 6 but not tried it yet.

I have read in the oreo rom thread that it's fast and good for playing games though I don't know if it's true. But I can tell you about Nougat roms. Nougat roms, without gapps are lagy, while it's totally opposite in android 6 roms. Take Omnirom for instance. If you install it without gapps, it will be SUPERFAST while if you install it with gapps, it will be as slow as a Nougat rom WITHOUT gapps !!!!!!

You can install it without gapps. If you do all the necessary wipes (basically follow correct steps), it won't loop.

NOTE : always download the latest version since it (more) stable
As another note, I'd suggest you these roms which I found the best for tab 2.
Resurrection remix : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAAegQICBAC&usg=AOvVaw1PxtYepshuVJGhwILyAok1
This is the best as per my experience. Its android 6 and also fast. It is fastest without gapps but if you are going to install some apps, not all of them might function correctly. You can also enable a multiwindow feature built in this rom.
Lineage os 13 : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjABegQIAxAC&usg=AOvVaw0ngVERkcUHwdW6OdL7FTx8
This is another great one and works well. Again, with gapps it's slow (and mostly all roms are)
Slimrom 4.4 : https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAAegQIAxAC&usg=AOvVaw1pIY6ZrmjDiXzCAxuW-p9R
To be honest, this rom would have been the first in my list but it isn't because it's kitkat (4.4.4) and that means less apps support. It is fast and stable.
I'll also like to tell don't go for android 7 roms. Without gapps they are as slow as android 6 roms with gapps.

I agree with the doc, the most stable and smooth is, by far, the 4.4.4 and the more you go "up" in android versions, the more slow and stable it gets.
So, as he did, I would recommend 4.4.4 or 6.0 roms, depending on the apps you need/want
