The IMG is made for Moto X Pro sold in China mainland aka " XT1115" which was released two week ago.
Moto engineers have removed almost all of the google apps and services and implemented some key features with native chinese apps, like Moto Voice. Most of the bloatwares can be easily removed except a security app of lenovo and a voice assistant named Lingxi.
You can get the full IMG from BaiduYun network disk in China.

Why mfastboot? Does it matter that fastboot breaks system.img up into sparse files?

I presume that mfastboot merges the already dissected system spared files .Probably .Normal fastboot divides a single system.img files into some sparse files ,in this case we have already sparse files ,just merge needed .

Have you tried flashing with mfastboot ? Just remove the bootloader from the folder and replace it with the 5.1 bootloader ,if you have updated your bootloader after 5.1 came out.

Something new on the thread in Q&A section.
From the other thread, this is my slightly ignorant summary.
-The system image has been Deodoxed. This is a good step to allow the system image to be messed with.

If a ROM is ODEX'd, it will make moving the apps around a bit harder, as they rely on their .odex counterparts. Plus like 95% of ROMs are Deodexed. Supposedly one is better than the other, but who knows.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2200349 this should answer all your questions about .odex and .deodex

No need for the pit file. But you also need to flash the CSC and the MODEM files.

All i am saying is that if Samsung or the networks release an update via Kies we know its official .
Updates not directly sourced from Samsung are pure guesswork as to validity of them as a full release .
KG5 not as expected and was not KG1 initially a test release .
I treat all of them as Beta until official release .

The problem is the SBF doesn't support flashing bploader. I try to rename the bp.img to CG56 and put it in. But when I try to repack it, the software give errors( lack info for CG56).
Maybe you should try asking this in the Defy or Atrix sections, as the dev community is way more active there then here.
They might have had this issue and know how to handle it.
ya it is better you ask in other more active Moto phones sections. That would be your best bet. May be u can try to PM a few devs who work on Moto phones.
Hi Endless, first thank you for CM7 for our M2s
Now I believe it should be possible to download only specific cg and upload it again using sbf_flash .
It is a linux/macos program used instead of rsdlite on these platforms. I cannot try now because I am in school but I will report back soon.
EDIT:
So i cannot download the cg but you should be able to upload it. Look through the site and try it

Hi, I saw you were asking for help in the #milestone-modding IRC logs.
So, how does SBF Depacker shows bploader as CG32 (available in every SBF) and and-developers's table of cdt partitions for M2 says it is CG56, and CG32 is prek?
Bploader is not signed.
What is prek?
@Endless7 What exactly have you done/flashed before bricking your device?

Yes I stepped on this issue as well. Depacker shows wrong label for this cg But I think it should be possible to create cg img from android (dd) and then flash it using sbf_flash. But it is a moo point since you already sent the phone away

Hi!
This is my first thread on XDA and I'm pretty much excited!
PFA one of the most sought after p) DDDLK6 radio/modem for the N7100 [International version only!] with the relevant RIL files, extracted from the latest firmware for India from Samsung: N7100XXDMC3_N7100ODDDMD1_INU
It can be flashed via your custom recovery as any other normal zip. No wiping necessary.
Before you jump right into flashing, please read the following:
1) Very, very important: While flashing, it says it's installing the XXDLK7 modem but it's actually not! I used the hacked zip from @Twist79, over >here< and just replaced the files. The modem being flashed is DDDLK6 only!
Edit: Check this post.
2) The customary disclaimer: I'm not responsible for anything bad that may happen to your device after/while flashing this. Even if it's World War III.
3) Credits: Many thanks to @Twist79 for the zip, SamMobile for the firmware, Google, XDA Forums and its members for all the inputs and knowledge. If I'm missing somebody, please let me know.
Live long and prosper.

Don't exactly know. I was checking out different threads about modems and saw quite a few people request this. Unfortunately, it wasn't available directly anywhere in XDA. And there also seems to be a lot of discussion about flashing Modems and RIL libraries together, so I found the need to put this one up.
I remember having to correctly flash the right RIL files when I was rolling with a HTC Sensation XE.
But I would like to ask what is in it for my Note 2?

What did you change and is there any hardware difference between OPO from China and OPO from China ^^?
Am I right assuming that this is the non-HLOS.bin file from CM?
I find stopping 4G/LTE on operating on 3G only extremely helpful in my case and I now have 2-3 bars where I used to have none.. I would recommend trying that first.

Instead of using flashboot to
"fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin"
I created and updater script inside the zip which is " ui_print("Installing signal drop fix by Gavin Phelan");package_extract_file("NON-HLOS.bin", "/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/modem");
set_progress(1.000000);"

Yeah like what radio is this? Isn't this the radio from 25R stock 11S? Because if it is, then your two radios have conflicting MD5 hashes. See,
http://i.imgur.com/OuSaJo6.png this is the original radio from the cyanogen website with the zip matching the MD5 hash provided by cyanogen here https://cyngn.com/products/oneplusone/
But in your zip the hash is http://i.imgur.com/Bd08Gs9.png and I redownloaded the files several times using different browsers and they match with the md5 hash in this screenshot which conflicts with the 25R stock radio which is on international OPOs.

I guess everybody here is waiting for someone else to take the leap first !!
I just tried it, and i ended up in an endless boot-loop
I think everybody want a fix for this problem.
BUT you give a fix from nowhere. You are a member, nobody have a radio for the opo, but you, you give a different radio, without any explanations of what is your file, from when it comes, and what you modified inside
And one other last thing : if it works it's good... But if not ? What to do ? What to do or what flash for restore old files if nobody knows what is modified ?
You understand our point of view ? And our fear ?
If i give you a pill, and says to you "it will heal you, without any explanations, you will eat it ? I think no.

That's the link to the actual dual boot thread. Link is in the 1st post. If you have never done dual boot on Android before you definitely wanna go over that thread. The process is a little different as you are patching the ROM installation zip files.
If you are using XDA Labs on Android I posted a screenshot of what the link looks like on the 1st post.
It's been forever since I messed with this so I'm not up to date on it and have not tried it on my v20 yet but I have read that the H918 specifically is compatible but that's all I'm sure of as far as models of V20 go. Not sure if the vs995 is supported or not. You might want to search around in the thread just to make sure specifically
