Dowloading now. Has anyone else tested this yet?
Can this be used on cm12.1 ??
The answer is no.... Tried and failed to install
This looks great, I'll give it a go sometime.
The source code link in the 'Downloads' spoiler is broken btw.
Is this a stock kernel or custom ROM one? I'm eagerly waiting to try this

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Note: Bugs are Evident, there is no way to make anything perfect on this device nor any device. If you experience issues, then post bug with log..
This is Alpha build.. Trying new things and getting it more setup for you all.............
Not for the faint of heart.. If you have no clue what TWRP is, or dont know what a kernel is, Then plz dont flash this..........
I am in no mood to teach or save your butt from killing your device.......... I dont have to do this. and I only am doing it for the peepz that waited
so long.. and the respect that some gave me..........
Enjoy Kernel...............
I will fix this thread up more as time goes on......... Just put something up really quick for the time being.........
Thread is best viewed from a PC.. or mobile with Chrome.. Not sure about tapetalk
BUGS: There is one bug that I do know about. Device will random reboot because of it.
I added cpu_input_boost and disabled cpu_boost.. but cpu_input_boost was causing the watchdog to bite, meaning kernel panic and reboot...........
I disabled cpu_input_boost and re enabled cpu_boost.. Hope that fixes the issue.
Finally this phone can live up to its potential!
Thanks for not giving up on us!
Thanks Eliminater74!
Thank you!!!!!!

Thanks eliminater. Quick question. Would this kernel work on a ported h906 to h901 Rom. Its called radeonmaya.
Ok... I can testify that device booted correctly after flashing alpha1...
Just flashed. Boots no problem and seems smoother. Playing with kernel settings.
Did get one random reboot though, will try to get log when I'm home.
Edit: seems to be rebooting when screen off (quite often).
Question is... how to play around kernel settings? Is there a dedicated app, or it suffice to use Kernel Adiutor or similar apps?

ElementalX Kernel Manager and Kernel Adiutor are what I use for Kernel Management..................................
Eliminater74, now that we have a customizable kernel... is it possible to force max battery charge rate (1800 mA or more)?
I know that sounds bothering... but I noticed that even when phone is charging, it loses battery percentage... just like it's no fully feeded by power.
Using in my car (with Android Auto equipment) sooner or later battery depletes, although it is connected to a 2A usb socket.

yea when you learn to code C++ you can do that
im kidding, but your going to kill your battery sooner .. the only thing I will do is what I did for my htc10, and thats force 900mA for usb fast charging.........
ahahahah... ok, to me it will be a little difficult.
Please read my edited post... it would be very useful to have some more juice to the battery in some situation.

Add your list of ideas to the tab that says " Features and Request" then ill take a look at it when I get to it. I am still currently adding things and trying to catch up with things on it.
I still wanna work on my sound mod.. if I can port my sound mod to this device.. it would be nice.. it uses partly sony driver base.........
but all features can be added in that tab above thread.

Does video recording work on 3rd party camera?
LETS TAKE A LOOK to our new friend.
Its a very smooth, very fast and responding rom.
Black theme and Clock position I would like to be a way to change, no big deal though.
Rom is performing better than long time present roms out there.
This is a job very good done.
Thank you @rama982
I flashed the rom using redfox 8.3 new recovery, with Nano Gapps and Magisk 17.1.
NO crash, reboot, or anything similar. Rom has been installed and run as a charm.
Sim card , like everywhere these days, still asking for confirmation on boot. One tick action, so NP
