I know what to do but.....i don't have root permisions
For root i need to instal cwm but all computers don't recognize my phone
Now i need update.zip to flash in this stock cwm to get new cwm with install zip from sd
Or any other way to install cwm or twrp

Download the modem files from the appropriate thread in S4 General, download a copy of Odin, and flash the modem through Odin. That should solve your problem. Then worry about rooting.

Then you're going to have to get your S4 fixed before you can do anything. In order to root Android 5.x on the S4 you have to use Odin, which requires you to be connected to a PC.

I flashed official firmware(i was rooted) and i FDR and i left it unrooted for like a month and when i tried to root i cant..
When I try to root via CFautoroot it always fails(tried using my friends computer too)
if i try towelroot i get the message that my device is not supported....
maybe its the problem because i didnt install my country firmware
I have rooted my phone like 10 times in the past but now it wont...:crying::crying::crying:

Than download Odin3.09, select AP and choose the md5.tar file
Start your phone to download mode and connect it to your pc, hit start on odin
go to your custom recovery and go to philz settings, than click reroot system.
install SuperSu from market

I will try it out but will i be able to flash back official firmware???(since i cant root in odin) and i found something really suspicus... when i open kies wifi stops working and when i connect my phone to pc same thing... i have to reboot to make it work again..this started since i cant root...im downloading antivirus right now and i willl be using my friends computer to try install custom recovery

I have been struggling a couple of hours with this issue: Trying to root my samsung galaxy s4 i 9505, with three different odin versions (now last tried v.1.85) and both CWM and TWRP. I finally managed to get a pass from odin, but whenever I go into recovery mode on my phone, I am at the stock recovery "page", saying Android recovery on the top. Which must mean that I am not rooted.
I have no idea what to do, anyone there with some tricks up their sleeves?

1. Reflash Stock Rom.
2. Root your phone with latest version of ODIN following this GUIDE or you can:
- Download and unzip this FILE in your pc.
- Take your device in DOWNLOAD MODE.
- Flash it via ODIN.
3. Install SUPERSU of Play Store app if you don't see it in desktop of your device.
4. Reboot in DOWNLOAD MODE and flash TWRP via ODIN. Your phone will reboot or reboot manually.
5. Done, your have root and custom recovery installed. Good luck :highfive:

Cheers for your reply, unfortunately I haven´t gotten longer than the first step. I try to flash stock rom, but it seems like i need a pit file and i cannot find a working one anywhere around the internet. Is there some way to find the pit file stored in my phone? Or another place where I can find a working pit file other than the one called CSB_signed_Fusion3_EUR_0325_V2?
Edit: Now I successfully reflashed stock rom and installed CWM recovery. Problem is that whenever I try to flash a rom I get the message "installation aborted".

There is a H6 FIrmware recovery flashable zip available in Android development...just flash that using CWM or Philz or TWRP recovery

Now, my problem is that I got this phone form my sister because it woulnt boot anymore.
Its a Galaxy s4 I9505 Int/swe with stock recovery. Ive wiped userdata and Cache. Ive tried to flash diffrent stock rom via recovery sideload without success(E: wrong footer or something like that). Ive also tried to flash TWRP but also without success. Im using Linux. Since it wont boot at all I cant enable USB debug, when in bootloader my pc isnt detecting it. Its only detected when in stock recovery sideload
I want to install TWRP and a stock or dedoxed rom but I have no idea what to do now

first of all install odin on pc then get stock firmware for device,google them,then download samsung usb driver and install it then see if pc detects it if all goes well and is detected then use odin to flash stock firmware hope that helps

Yeah I know how to use Odin but I dont know how without Odin, thats why I asked here :/

So I was trying to update the android version on my Note 3, because android 5.0 is outdated and vastly unsupported. I rooted my phone correctly, and flash TWRP onto it with Odin v3.10.6. But every time I try to boot into recovery, it simply goes into the Odin flash screen. I'm not able to access the recovery, and not able to install the rom (Lineage OS).
I have tried re-flashing the rom.
If there is any solution to this, please let me know.

Search your question answered many times .
Usual is you are flashing a TWRP for the wrong model .
Try an older TWRP and then upgrade TWRP .
There is no need to root the phone before flashing TWRP.
WARNING: there is always a risk of bricking a phone whenever flashing files with Odin. Be prepared to deal with a possibly bricked phone.
This method has worked for several of my Samsung phones:

Download the tar version of TWRP 2.8.5.0 from here: https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxynote3qualcomm.html
Open Odin, do not check anything except for f reset time. Place TWRP in the PDA slot, flash TWRP. When you see the word "reset" in the status window, remove USB cable from phone, remove battery, replace battery, use buttons to boot into recovery.

I need some help anyone. My hlte has been on lollipop for a long time. But decided to try some new roms, haven't flashed in a few years. Anyway I was using the newest twrp and tried flashing a few ROMs but they were unsuccessful. I know from experience that formatting the system deleted all personal data in twrp, so I flashed Philz touch recovery to clean my system for a clean rom install. After that I flashed the last zip file for hlte from the twrp website. And now recovery doesn't boot, but download mode will boot. But I think someone was in my settings before the flash, and disabled USB debugging possibly, because my computer will not detect it. Tried several cables, and other computers, but still will not recognize my note 3. Maybe it's in charging only mode? Because it charges. Is there any hope? Please help if you can. Thanks
TWRP usual is user is using wrong TWRP for the rom .
USB debugging is not needed .
Install Samsung USB drivers to PC . Flash stock rom via Odin .
USB contacts for charging are separate from the USB contacts for data.
It's possible that the USB port on the phone is defective.
