Where can I find a flashable stock kernel ? - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi ! I curently own a G2 d802 running Dormimanx kernel, and with the OTA for lollipop rolling in I'd like to revert back to stock kernel without wiping everything, but I can't seem to find the stock kernel file anywhere, does anyone have a link ?

Thanks for the reply,
So to have CWM ( you mean rom manager right ?)
I'll need to root the device , is there anything else need's to be done ?
And one more questions, is 10A is same as 10V ? When i browse this site: -> lg-phone-firmware.com for my country there is only 10A is that ok?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the noob questions
CMW is not that good if you want battery life .. I suggest this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42841443&postcount=4459 Stock V20e + Greenify ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.greenify&hl=lv ) and Pure Performance(You have to flash it through CMW http://www.mediafire.com/download/q0a4crr8aq4gm24/PurePerformances™X_Stock.1.4.zip ) It's smooth as hell and quite lag less ,I've tried almost all roms for this phone including beta ones and this is by far best with mods. And this is one to look forward to ,when it will be stable ,it will be a beast http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2415872

But what right order to do it?
Root , then flash via Rom manager ?
If you have any manual would be great.
Thanks
first root the phone then install cwm( recovery) after that flash the rom

Wanted to update
I used this ROM -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433625
This is really great for P700 L7
Thanks

[Q] [L7]New to all this, pls help

So I'm getting a brand new L7 tomorrow and I really don't like that it comes only with android 4.0 and Lg's skin.
I want to root and install a custom ROM, and after the (very little) research I've made it looks like that the CarbonRom for 4.4.2 (p705) is the more "stable" (pls correct me if I'm wrong). In the website it said that the device has NFC so it must be the p700 which may force me to install a different kernel (to work with the ROM).
My doubts are if I can keep updating the ROM, as new updates came out, without losing my data/settings? And if something goes wrong how do I go to stock (as it came by Lg)?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my English, it's not my first language

It wil lcome with 4.1.2 .. also sucks to get L7, it really sucks...after you have a custom rom, you can keep updating it without losing any data by just wiping cache and dalvik cache in cmw and then flashing new build.
Thank you, for answering me

Didn't choose, it's a replacement for my old cellphone (an old Nokia)... Ok, that's good then. One doubt about the base band if I understand correctly I need to install/flash the correct one from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2335273, (I live in Portugal so I guess it's the Europe one), this is after or before the installation of a custom rom?
Do you recommend a OC kermel for p700 compatible with the ROM I was talking about?

No need for baseband if you're running jelly bean+(v20)
Though you will need to root phone and install CMW(clockworkmod) so you can flash roms, but it's easy and everythings here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486512
also abut kernels, there was a kernel in carbon topic for p700, just skim through pages.

Nice that makes things easier
yeah, I have rooted an old tablet (nook color) and it was fairly easy it's just that this is supposed to be my daily driver so I just want to be extra careful
Already saw it thanks, now I'm just deciding between "installing" Carbon and CM by Cr3pT (4.4.2) they both look stable enough and smooth....

seems like you will have to change then it's nothing hard, just flash v20b through cmw and then rom and gapps
...look at names end, there will be date cm_11.0.p700_exp.201402222230.cr3pt = 2014/02/22/ 22:30(time)

Yes I did. I tried a few times and the end result was the same... I installed/flashed Carbon instead and everything is running smoothly
Now I just have to figure it out how to change the kernel, the one by Cr3pt talked on the Carbon thread is a boot.img file

Hi,
Dorimanx has defined profiles for different usage. I would guess that extreme battery profile is the one you are looking for. ( is to be set in the profile tab in stweaks app)
@dorimanx , sorry for ask this, but, wich stock rom did you flash? D? Or B? I can't remember

Kernel compile
Hi,
As I'm curious, I'm trying to compile dorimanx kernel jus to see how all this is working.
So I've pulled three repo (crosstool-ng-by-dorimanx, DORIMANX_LG_STOCK_LP_KERNEL, lp_ramdisk_dorimanx )
when I run ./default_build.sh I have this error:
android-toolchain/bin/arm-eabi-ar: error while loading shared libraries: libfl.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
both libfl-dev i386 and x86_64 are installed on my 14.04 Ubuntu system.
If any of you know what is the problem, please let me know ?

Dorimanx LP Kernel
Stock LP
ViPER4AndroidFX+Poweramp
? ATH-M50x ?
Thank you for excellent kernel. I was so angry because of stock.
What exactly is 'UltraSound high performance audio hardware'? Another tweaks to audio drivers? I must say that sound quality on kitkat dorimanx seems to be better than other kernels.

[Q] [REQ] CloudyG2 3.1 Standalone Kernel Install ?

Would someone make/modify a flashable installer for the d802 CloudyG2 3.1 original kernel?
For those trying different kernels it would make an easy way to go back to the one in the original ROM package.
I've uploaded the boot.img variants from CloudyG2 3.1 to :- https://mega.nz/#!DR811L4K!NmUXlR1sttEu9Zhe2YBwUuvfm0c-5EOwEEdZcJbtdCo

In the case of a hang, bootloop or other functional problem + someone posted earlier about flashifying an .img file and it 'bricking' their g2
Edit: I did give it a try earlier so I could share but saw some libs being written in a pre existing zip that I wasn't sure about.
