buddy I advise you ...hide your imei in public places and of course you have an original samsung like atutuntu says :good:
thank you for replay and answer on my question
Which one does the S5 resemble? I compiled a kernel using toolchains optimized for ARMv15 and my S5 seems to run just fine.
It worries me you are compiling kernels when you don't understand ARM architecture.
Arm v7 or v8 are the two types: generally the 64bit processors come with arm v8. S5 is v7 as far as I know. The v15 thing you mentioned is actually professor model types: ARM do a9 and a15 cores along with their newer a53, a57 cores.

Thanks for the quick response. I have since compiled a kernel with the proper cross compiler and source code.
Hi, I'm using 5.1.1, where I can't install ARM64 apps, but CPU Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 appears to be 64? So why I can't install them, or why phone shows only ARM?
My rooted XT1641 32GB is from Koodo Canada. Current ROM: Stock 8.1.0 (athene-8.1.0-OPJ28.111-22).
HWInfo app gave me this. Notice: Machine=armv7l. ABI=armeabi-v7a.
But Google says: "The Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 MSM8952 is a mid-range ARMv8-based SoC".
Is that because of my Provider-ROM ? Important though since gApps and apk depend on. Could somebody check with your version please. Thank you.

Though the Snapdragon 617 is 64 bit capable, the stock ROM (including TWRP flashables) is 32 bit in nature (likely a reason for the armv7 architecture shown, which is the same in my G4 Plus). Hence on stock firmware, you'll need 32 bit apps.
If you're wanting to make use of the 64 bit capability, you'll need a 64 bit TWRP and a 64 bit custom ROM, along with 64 bit (ARM-64) GApps.
