I am currently looking for a new phone, and I want to ensure that I will be able to use Foxfi on it. I am on Verizon, and I am currently looking into a Samsung Galaxy S5. Does anyone know if Foxfi works on this?
I am also open to the possibility of an S4 or the LG G3.
Foxfi On the S5
Foxfi works for me on my S5. I've recently gotten a notification of an update (I'm already running LP and it works fine), but I don't want to update again without confirmation that it still works. Phone is the only internet I have. Good luck to you.. should work fine on the S5.

I'm new to this forum and had a quick question. I'm planning on upgrading my Verizon S3 to a Verizon Galaxy Note 3 (I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan). My S3 is rooted and tethering is simple, reliable, and works without a hitch with tablets, PCs, and any other wireless device I've tried. In reviewing posts on this and other forums, I haven't gotten a clear picture that this would be the case with a rooted Verizon Note 3, at least right now. Is anyone having success tethering a rooted Verizon Note 3 with a wide variety of devices? If so, what app works best? Any info appreciated and thanks in advance.

I was wondering if any of you GPe S4 users on T-Mobile could tell if you can use HD-voice with this version. If so, is there any way to turn amr-wb codec on, as it is on the regular TW S4 via service mode?

Were you ever able to figure it out? I'm running danvdk rom 4.4.2 on my tmo galaxy s4 and the hd voice is really bothering me, i want to hear in HD!

I'm running GPe 5.0.1 on a T-Mobile S4, and HD voice is not working. It does work on the same phone and network with the factory ROM. Looking for a way to get it working with GPe. They advertise that HD voice is enabled on this ROM so I'm not sure why it's not working. Any tips are appreciated!!
im trying to get my moms us cellular gpad on lollipop so thats shes able to tether. i see that usc hasnt updated their tab yet so i just wanted to know what would be the best way to get on lollipop?
I'm a VZW escapee using Total Wireless, very happy with my current service etc.
I'm currently using an old Verizon S5, but the screen is dying.
I like everything about the S7 except the VZW software. There are unlocked S7 variants, but it looks like they've actually been getting fewer/slower updates...
I miss root/flashing random new builds for fun (used to run Motorola devices in the good old days...), but the only feature that's really missing for me on my S5 is tethering; VZW has it locked down pretty tight in this S5.
Has anyone been using the VZW version of the S7 on an MVNO and successfully using tethering?
I have the opportunity to get a Samsung Galaxy S8 active from Sprint unlocked will this work on the Verizon network? If you could tell me if everything would work or if it would NOT, or what I would need to do to make it WORK that would be great!
