when I go to display in settings its say unfortunatly the settings stopped working

The latest beta releases of Spirit2 will likely work.
I have cm-12-20141121-EXPERIMENTAL-ls980.zip on my Sprint variant now and Spirit2 141121 is working well, as long as Bluetooth is off.

it works on d805?

Everything works fine on my VS980 but I cannot send SMS messages. I can receive calls, RECEIVE SMS, send/receive MMS, and get LTE. Having no SMS texting really sucks so is there anyway I can fix this? Posted a thread on XDA but no one helped.

-I can't find where to disable to open the call diag when I unlock the phone.
-I have remove the notification on the lock screen and add a pattern for security, but when I unlock the phone, I have to swipe the screen before get access to the unlock pattern, a way to remove it ?

Maybe is not your case but you need TB 6.2.0 to work properly in lollypop.

there are good developers for all mobiles, so i have found u for my grand 2, come up with a good rom that has a greatest battery back up, performance, and lots more, battery backup is the main problem all roms face, since background apps run and so on, ne ways i really liked u r rom, will be waiting for u r V4 rom thank u

i dont think there is any change in ui. same stock ui without samsung bloatwares. for me it lag sometimes. i think thats because of no of apps i use. till now no bugs found.

Dear aapa, thank u for this great rom but seems u have missed to include SELinuxModeChanger app! .
I have been struggling for 3 days since I install this rom because of the strange behaviour if many applications, like Titanium backup, root explorer, xposed installer, WhatsApp & viber can't download any files & many others due conflicts of permissions, till I did install the app SELinuxModeChanger from Google play and change to permissive, then everything is working well now without any problems..
Any way, the rom so far is very lovable , handy, extra smooth , no lag or force close at all (exempt the Samsung account registration, which I have deleted the few Samsung stuff left in priv-app).. Google chrome working well,doesn't crash here,and the ram usage is very low compared to other kitkat roms (always have more than 700mb free ram with more than 150 applications I have been installed).

Very great.. much better than other kitkats .. the ram used always 500-600 mb all the time

Solved
Install SELinuxModeChanger.apk from Google play, open it and change the value to permissive . It will solve your problem.

How do I install the update
Hi,
I've just installed the leaked version of android 5.0 on my N9005 via CWM.
I found that it has lot of troubles. I can't silence the phone. If I try to record video with my camera the phone crash.
I want to know how do i install those updates that i found cause i love lollipop and i don't want to restore my CM11.
I downloaded the update file and in CWM i chose Install zip but the phone got freeze in the samsung logo at the beginning.

Which version are you flashing and whats your phone model?
In 0115 do a full wipe and just flash the zip, choose the option select by default and you are good to go (I have few bugs, but only video recording reboot is a major one).
I had lean kernel before but now after updating to this rom I have stock. I don't know but guess after you flash this rom you can flash what kernel you like.

Try full wipe and then flash 0115 version, record video not working yet but I guess it will be soon.
But that aside this rom is working great with a few tweaks from s5.
After flashing this rom it will take a few minutes to start (samsung logo boot) but no need to panic

On 5.0 lollipop theres no longer swipe between tabs.
Now you will find all open tabs in recent apps menu.

Exlplain the issue in detail. Like on which app the touchpad is not working (if any), or have you unlocked and rooted the device, or are you using a custom ROM/kernel, etc or mention if you dropeed the device accidentally somewhere. Explain in detail so that members can help you. Good luck!

I have one question. Is there any way to flash Lenovo k4 note via sp flash tool without locking bootloader. As, everytime I flash it via sp flash tools, the bootloader gets locked and I have to go through all the process to unlock it again. I thought of unticking preloader but was too afraid to experiment with this critical part (preloader sounds like some serious ****, haha).

Bro don't flash all files just flash system,cache,userdata and boot img but automatically recovery also flash beacuse in system.img there is recoveryfromboot.p presents and bootlader remains unlocked.
If it works hit thanks beacuse hitting thanks gives me energy for resolving problem for those who facing problems

And BTW, no problem with twrp replaced with stock recovery, it takes just a minute to flash twrp again.

If phone is in warrenty go to service center.

It is a buggy touchpad, must be some moisture on the inside of the touchpad. I agree, go to the service centre.

Roms i meant stock roms. S152 and S200 S218 flashable roms. for Lollipop and Marshmallow. S152 is working fine but OTA update and manual Sp tool flashing and recovery flashing leads me to bootloop on 6.0 versions. I've downloaded many stock marshmallow S200 and higher from xda and other sites all gave me bootloop. with or without user data and cache flashing also. if bootloop is crossed phone never crosses android is upgrading thing.

1. Stock Recovery
- download .zip file
- rename it as update.zip, place it in internal storage
- go to recovery and update
2. Sp flash tools
- download rom files
- install drivers
- open sp flash tools locate scatter file
- select download and connect phone.

Use this S P flash tool method
- Download rom files
- Install drivers if install already installed then skip this step
- After install drivers go to phone settings>about phone and tap build number 7 times,go back to settings and enable usb debuging in devloper options.
- Open s p flash tool
- Select option in left uppar corner,there is download option availabe,click on it and there is One/two Da DL option available available based on your s p flash tool version.check these two option.
- Locate scatter file in downloaded folder
- Make sure all files are selected
- Select firmware upgrade,p ress download and connect switch off phone.
- After showing download ok then remove mobile and switch on phone.

What steps do I take to get to oreo or pie from Stock 7.0 EMUI 5.0.1

Hi,
I have a P8 lite 2017 PRA-LX1 and want to install a custom rom or treble and I believe I need to get to oreo and EMUI 8 before I can progress.
I've installed many customr roms before but never on Huawei and only up to Marshmallow so been searching answers but not finding anything clear
I unlocked the bootloader
I have installed TWRP via fastboot and can boot into it.
But after looking at the threads to install treble roms or pie roms it's not clear how to preoceed from here, can somebody please help!

Here you will find how to, it is not so difficult, basically you have 3 steps, at least it's what I did:
First: download update.zip (original firmeware for PRA, there is a link, it is russian but write in search bar PRA-LX1 and then yoy will get results, do not download OTA because for this method it does not work) and copy it to sdcard as update.zip
Second: nocheck.img (install from TWRP) and copy to sdcard
Third: TWRP and install nocheck.img to recovery partition
Fourth: TWRP open advanced, terminal and write this as follows:
echo --update_package=/sdcard/update.zip > /cache/recovery/command
reboot recovery
After reboot, oreo firmware is installed, you have to reinstall twrp (for oreo, the one you have now does not work). These are the steps I followed and it went fine for me, do it carefully and do not interrupt the process. Good luck, if you need help just let me know.

I'm now stuck, I have the updte.zip for my device, but the link to nocheck recovery is broken and I'm not having much luck finding it either Anyone have a copy I can use for PRA-LX1c432?
Also, what are the other files in the update - update_data_full_public.zip , update_full_PRA-L11_hw_eu.zip and update_full_PRA-L31_hw_eu.zip? I'm such a Huawei Noob

The only .zip you need is one about 1,7gb (I do not know what are the other zip files, I never used them).
I am trying to attach nocheck.img but I can not, send me an email by private message and I'll send it.

solved: finally I updated to EMUI 8 with "HuRUpdater_0.3.zip" which went quite simple. Sorry, can't post an external link while I'm to young at the forum
