No signal issue - Oppo Find 5

I am using a oppo find 5.
Model : X909
Android : 4.2.2
Build : X909EROM_12_140807
Baseband : Q_V1_P14
Kernel : 3.4.0-0210.
My problem is, i was on 1.0.9 stable build, Recently flashed the 2.0.0i beta version.
And now having no signal problem every now and then.
Mobile signal goes down and comes back only on reboot.
Tried flashing fix_radio.zip from oppo forum, which did not resolve the problem.
Even tried multiple other roms with no avail to the problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this.

[Q] No baseband when on custom rom, but working on stock

Hey there,
I am an active reader of this forum for 4 years now - thank you for all the information - and have a uncommon problem with my nexus 4,
yesterday i upgraded my purity rom to the actual build and have no cellular connection since then 8excuse me for my english right away)
What seems to be a trivila problem is kinda tricky (of course a looked a lot for possible causes and resolves in the forum).
the problem is: i have flashe the actual bootloader, radio and made a factory image flash and my nexus is working when on stock rom.
but when i flash a custom rom - i tried purity, psx and cm 10.1 - the cellular connectivity and in some cases wifi is gone. once i flash the factory image everything is fine again.
can you imagine a possible explanation?
one more information: when flashing the new purity update, i accidentally flashed not the current one, but the 2 month old version... but i allready made a clean-flash, wiping everything and flashing just the rom.
i'm on the most recent bootloader, radio und cwm-recovery
Any idea? Thanks in advance...
alex
update to latest recovery for either cwm or twrp its a common issue that many have posted issues about
hey,
it worked, reverted to an earlier cwm build and it works again. thank you very much

GPS issues on custom roms.

I've recently moved to a new state and have been having to use my phone's GPS several times a week.
At the time I was using one of the Cyanogenmod 11 snapshot builds(sorry, I can't remember which one ). The GPS worked flawlessly. I would always update to the next snapshot build as they came out. One our two updates later my GPS couldn't seem to get a fix on my location. I tried wiping and doing a clean install of the ROM. Still had issues.
Eventually I got fed up with cyanogenmod and wiped my phone and installed Paranoid Android 4 beta 1. Had the same problem with the GPS. I tried several of the other beta releases as they came out to see if the problem was resolved. It wasn't.
So I restored my phone to stock using the Google factory images (4.4.2). The GPS worked beautifully. So I stuck with stock for a while and did the OTA update to 4.4.3.
After a while I started to miss the features and customizations that come with custom ROMs. So I wiped and flashed Paranoid Android 4.4 RC2. The GPS still can't seem to lock. On the rare occasion that it does it can't keep up with my car, especially if I turn onto another road.
Does anyone know what's up with the GPS? Didn't seen to have this issue at all on Jelly Bean custom ROMs. Is this an issue with Kitkat custom ROMs? Possibly a hardware issue? Any help would greatly appreciated.
Current setup:
Phone: Nexus 4(16gb)
ROM: Paranoid Android 4.4 RC2
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Free mobile app
There appears to be an issue with KitKat and GPS. I'm running stock 4.4.4 and I can't get a GPS lock. I've tried everything I can, including a factory reset. I don't remember having the issue with 4.4.3, but I've seen issues reported going back to 4.4.2.
I don't know about you, but a reboot usually does it for me.

[Q] Mobile data connection hangs / stuck after new rom flashing

Hello everyone, I tried searching but I cant find solution to my issue, after flashing a new rom (audax v9.0) I am experiencing a lot of mobile data problems, often my connection stops working even if the data icon ("h" or "3g") is displayed in my status bar, and I have to turn the mobile data toggle on and off to make the connection work again.
So I decided to upgrade my modem to match my rom version (GNG1, it was XUENC2 before flashing, a stock sammy one), but unfortunately nothing has changed, I still have the same problems.
- Can it be a kernel related issue? I have lean kernel 3.4 and audax rom v9 as said above.
- or can it be a ril / modem mismatch? Is there a way to check my ril?
Thanks in advance guys.

I have the same problem, I'm on the leaked dev base 5.0 alxander rom..
Did you find a fix for this!!!

[Q] [q] sm-g900f gps problem

I look a wile around the internet before bringing my problem here.
My issue is like this. I use cm 12.1 and at some point few days ago my GPS stop working. I mean my phone cannot see any GPS Satellite.
I try the following:
Put back the official rom, both 4.4.4 and 5.0
Flash different Kernel.
Flash the PIT
Flash the modem.
Install 2-3 different Roms.
Now i'm back to cm 12.1 and is still have the same issue. What it can be? Is hardware problem? What i can do ?
Looking forward to your help guys.

Network issue

Hi,
since I'm using my stock A2017G Axon i have several network issues:
I often loose the connection and the signal is not strong as it should be.
I am sure that it is an issue related with the Axon because I tried with other smartphones and the signal was strong and stable.
Now I was able to unlock the bootlooder, flash the TWRP v3.2.1-8 and I'm using the Resurrection Remix (Oreo) custom rom but the problem is still there.
What should I do to solve it? Is there anything I can try to flash?
Additional info: I live in Italy
Thanks

Couple of weeks ago I ran into a similar problem on AEX where signal strength, connection....suddenly became very bad.
I just reflashed one of the G OREO modems and all was fine again.
So i suggest you do that before anything else.
Here are a couple of G Oreo modems you can use.
Based on betaB01 (same as used in AEX, LOS15.1 and O_B12 btw) : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=818222786056033085
Based on V3.0.0B01 (china) : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673791459329068510
Hope that helps
