I live in turkey and i am looking to buy Meizu mx4 from hong kong,
but I need to make sure if i could change the imei as it is locked bootloader phone, does anybody know if the enginner mode and Mtk droid tools are working?

it seem the imei repair work on bl locked device ... I will confirm that when i receive my mx4 in next week..
Could you changed the imei of the mt6595 from engineer mode?

I changed my IMEI but it soft bricked my phone. I am still trying to figure how I can change setting in nvram without killing everyrhing but I cant find any mediatek documentation or tutorials of any sort.

Hey, Guys. I bought my Galaxy S4, GT-I9505, in amazon.
And few days ago, I updated my phone to 4.4.2 (Quite late.)
But after I updated it, it locked my sim. (I'm using Vodafone)
However, I have no idea what is the original carrier, so I can't even buy the unlock code.
Is there any way to find out original carrier?

Hi mate ,
Unlock codes are IMEI related not carrier related , no need to know the original carrier

I heard that before. However, when I buy the unlock code, they reqires the carrier name.

I buy an other used motherboard for my n9005.
But when I upgrade to lollipop she was simlocked.
I ask the unlock code to the seller.
Between I received the code I rooted my phone with twrp 2.8.6.0
And a custom rom.
So I received my code who works, but now I can't connect me to an provider
Only call emergency!
The imei is OK, and he found a lot of provider.
I try to come back original kitkat rom nothing seems going.
What do you think about it?

after repair (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75076102&postcount=10, I wanted to unlock the bootloader.
But, they may have changed the motherboard. Now on the LG developer website, i have this message : Unfortunately, your device(Germany, (EUROPE COMMON) )does not support unlocking the bootloader...
what's going on?? this is an LG H870 V11g-EUR-XX

They put in a German motherboard, and I can't unlock it anymore. I'm really angry..I had a unblocked booloader with fulmic rom.. I'm sad, I wanted to try Fulmic 3.3 ...

I would send it back.
They clearly did not repair the phone correctly.
They put in the wrong (not matching) motherboard.

I sent it back for repair, after a complaint to lg france. they received it on February 6, and I'm waiting for him to come back. :angel:
I am not aware of a Germany version of the lg g6 is boot locked - only the asia versions (ie ds) is boot locked. you sure you entered the right imei on that lg website?

Yes, IMEI and device id match on LG developper site...
If i change on digit, it say : IMEI and device id not match...
LG france have accepted my claim so... waiting ......

I bought galaxy A9 pro indian version from ebay, I asked the seller to ues indian sim to unlocked it , but I think him missed to do that, now I can't use the phone for calling, it ask me to enter network unlock pin, how can I solve this
I contact to indian samsung service center, but they not give me a solution

Hello everyone, my actual z1c still work good since i bought it in april 2017 but there is something that i can't fix on that z1c: locked bl ..
I tried to unlock bl with fastboot and the command oem unlock but it always gave me an error and since i want to play ingress prime i need magisk and magisk need an unlocked bl so i wanna buy a new z1c and i'd like to know if you could give me a link for a z1c who is in good condition with a bootloader unlockable?
I have found some z1c on bac.... but this site has quite many bad advices and when i check advices from ppl who bought refurbished z1c on amazon etc there are always people who complained about a crack or a battery who wasn't changed etc .
And since it's around 100€ i don't want to pay that amount if i receive a z1c with a crack on screen etc lol.
And just in case i'm from france, ty in advance!
Does the service menu say that u cant unlock? Have you requested unlock code from sony?

No way to unlock it. Sad.
Any of them should be fine but you'll want to find one in good condition and buy a new battery, using a 6 year old battery is a /bad/ idea, learn to replace it, all you need is a hair dryer, a plastic prying tool, and a normal + shaped smaller screwdriver.
Buy a z1compact with unlockable bootloader
Hello can any one help. How can I purchase a z1compact from eBay with a unlockable boot loader. What am I looking for? eg. an international version, or one from a specific region. I have one already but the bootloader unlock allowed =no. It is rooted and I have twrp recovery but I want to upgrade or flash a android 7.0 custom rom .Any solutions for that. I don't want to end up with two phones with seem problem.
