hi friends, i m also a nexus 4 user, like others i also installed many ROMS on my device one by one. recently i installed miui but there were some problems like google services nd i didn't find it stable. then i installed liquidsmooth 4.4.4 nd now my device is rebooting again and again just after google logo. plz help me.

Don't panic i guess u are in a bootloop, if yes go to recovery and perform a factory reset and flash the desired ROM again, hope it helps you.

Anyway...
I want to test the new jb bean alpha. Looks very good, installed it, all went perfect.
But then I try to install the GoogleApps and there I have issues...
The calender, browser, Playstore and so gets force closes when opening.
Re-installed it, wipe all, re install, I tried it all :/
Now I haven't any more ideas

Which gapps have you flashed ?
Hey tom!, you could try mkalters JB rom, that one has no problems with Gapps. I used that one too on my sgs

hi there,
using cm 10 too latest version which is now theROM (20120726) and you have to find the latest apps for google too gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip they are both experimental so both have bugs but for me stable enough to use everyday like me .
sometimes you have to wiat a while for apps to open , cause theres sometimes lag, but bit by bit pawitp will work it all out ok.
If not reinstall the rom and gapps again to be sure.

I have the latest builds and there aren't any lags. Only force closes... :/

I need help big time. I had CM 10 running on my defy no probs at all. I tried a stupid thing to back to a stock rom and now I cant get back to install CM 7 or CM10.
I even had my battery die during the process and had to do the Mcgyver trick and it worked. I live in the UK and tried the british retail and vodafone roms and both caused the defy to die and not respond / power up, anything..
The only rom I have found so far to work is JORDN_U3_97.21.51.sbf. it works,. Then I can install 2nd init and root with Super one click. Though after I do that and try to install CM7, 10 I just get black screen and white LED.
Help.
Can someone walk me through the process again and provide links to files

Make sure that when you flash cm7, you flash the one for you kernel(froyo or gb). Also wipe data after flashing.

stefa_vr6 you sir are a genius. This was exactly what I wanted. I flashed the rom in your post, rooted and installed 2nd init and fom there flashed CM10. So now up and running again.
Have a case of virtual beer on me sir.
My only other problem is now that I probably need a new battery as I had to do the battery hack as my phone died during an earlier update and is displaying " ?" in the battery display.

i just rooted my nexus4 (Mako) and i flashed the latest PACman ROM, i had NO issues, no errors, nothing. when i turn the phone on i notice that it doesnt recognize the wifi, is like its been disabled and then i notice that the speaker wont work either
ive been looking for someone who has the same problem, but neither here on XDA, PACman forums and google i could find something like this!
any help would be great
i used two versions of pacman and i flashed it 2 times with the same result

Well even I'm having the same problem but not just with PAC ROMs...WiFi doesn't work on paranoid android, aokp as well...
Right now I'm running CyanogenMod 11 which is quite stable...have been using it for some time now without any issues...this, and the stock ROM are the only ones where WiFi works for me

My friend had the same problem,his phone could not connect my wifi,but mine could.If you have another phone with wifi try if you can connect.
Sometimes its not phones fault,I fixed my friends problem going to my routers page(192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 Depens what router you are using. )
So I went on routers page,went to Wifi settings and then changed the channel settings(From 01 channel to 04).
And then restarted router.
My friend was able to connect to it right away.
Note:This problem began to appear when he flashed custom rom.

I was flashing 4.3 ROMs without flashing radio....
Go there ---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227 and download and flash the correct radio files and you're good to go!!

If you are flashing the 4.3 pacman ROM, then try flashing the 0.84 radio from the link I posted above.....(worked for me on probam rom running jb 4.3.1)

[Q] help！！！google apps package cannot be intalled under cm11 ！
hi guys,just now i successfully installed the cm11,.but the new problem came, i cannot install the google apps package,even i use a app named google installer to installer google apps, it just showed installed ,but donesnt work.at all.i m not positive but the reason might be this.before i successdully installed the cm,i was just too anxious and click the botton of.install the google apps.package. it failed,but the process is different from the failing process now.
need help！if somebody knows what caused it please help me！！！！！and if some one has a backup file.of.his ls980 which runs cm11 and.google well.

Hi all, i have a problem with my Defy+ and the rom 20140409-NIGHTLY with GApps Core 4.2.2 ..
Its no first time i install kitkat on my defy, but now, i have a question...
I have install all 20140409, then GApps Core 4.2.2 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515036), but after reboot the wizard for setup the defy crash (the application setup wizard has stopped abnormally) and cant do nothing ...
But if i install only Rom, defy work fine, but havent Gapps install...
Anyone have the same problem?
I hope I explained myself...premise that i have bricked defy 2 days ago for the same problem. Today i have unlocked defy (RSDLITE), and do procedure for the root ...try again but same problem with wizard...

Sorry, i have find GApps 4.4.2 and "work" ... but i have black screen now after the loading of Android...i can "swipe" the menu on the top but cand see the desktop

try install market or gmail, app start and in few second, close without message...

Now i'm using the last Slimkat rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2556473) and it works!!
