My S5 rooted on MOAR rom but it is bootloader and SELinux (SE for Android) locked on LP....does that make a difference? It doesn't want to install the V4A Drivers. it ACTS like it does. I reboot. start V4A and it asks me to install the drivers again. thinking about just using my unlocked nexus 7 (old one) for this.

Dude.... Read....
It makes NO difference.
Viper drivers are junk anyway, don't bother, it causes competing apps to stop all sound output.

Very "Helpful" Quote aside I've done research....or how you call it. READING for the past 5 hours on how to get this working on my phone. So i've done my damn fair share of reading. I've literally done everything imaginable to get this to work. And frankly i'm sick of it.
And I Give up.My Nexus 7 has 4.4.4 and has SELinux Permissive and the drivers installed fine. I give up getting it to work on TouchWiz Lolipop
PS: V4A works fine and is awesome...on Nexus 7 anyway = /

With all that info you have to help out? Nope!

how does viper or cyanogenFX compare to Poweramp?

I also cannot get Viper4android to work now that I've upgraded to Lollipop. I never had an issue on KK. I've heard of certain tricks people have to do on the S5 to get it to work but nothing that sounds for sure.
Are there any good Lollipop ROMs with viper4android baked into it?

Viper will not work with SELinux enforced. Nobody has yet to figure out how to change that so for now we are stuck. Multisystem looks promising though.

Just make a backup and try it, if something isn't right afterward just restore your backup.
Thanks for the link, I flashed it and do notice some improvement
Tried to flash this on my stock 6.2.2 KF and was unsuccessful. Is it only compatible with cooked gingerbread ROMs? Thx for your help in advance.

Sounds interesting. I always thought it was a marketing gimmick. Did it work on ICS too?
Not sure how people are making this work for KF. Tried several times through twrp and it didn't install. Did the manual push, which lead to my device getting bricked. I think I'm gonna stay away for now till the kinks get ironed out unless anyone with a KF can help me successfully install.

Yes. I believe the thread said it was for Gingerbread only, but some ICS folks had luck. I do not think there was any talk of the stock KF firmware, nor was it designed to install correctly on that firmware.
On a side note, it does not really install correctly on anything, must people just thought they heard a difference unless they went through the manual installation process.

Yeah when I read the original thread, it just listed GB ROMs as compatible and so it installed fine on my infuse 4G. Since I already was running voodoo sound on my infuse, couldn't be sure on whether the sound is really all the way different, but some songs and their bass sound a little clearer than before.

What is a Good Rom for this phone.

What is a good rom to run on this phone? I have tried a few and can't seem to find anything that works with out issue. I tried the latest SlimRom which I liked but It doesn't allow me root access. So apps like titanium backup don't work I've tried I think its OEO or something of that nature and it was ok and I don't care for CM11.
I am using the stock rom that came with the phone I think that is ICS

I have never found a more functional rom than mhous33 dst stock or the avistralia deodexed mod.
All the cm, pacman, aokp...... never work FOR ME in all the capacities of stock.
About TiBu, I have always found issues with it.
I use recovery advanced restore to move apps.
You can move your stock data to both the dst & avistralia roms.

They do have use to you because you would find the info you're looking for, if you take the time to read them.
I tried out SlimKat and it seemed ok but i really don't like how little they made the fonts and the screens in it. Some of us older people need bigger. I also had to flash the SU binary update as its not added to it. I tried out the beta 2 edition. After my data resets I plan on trying the DST one that was also suggested. Sometimes not having home internet sucks.

[Q] Mirror (AirPlay, Chromecast etc.) with LG G2

Hey!
I have been using Koush's Mirror-app for a while now on my Nexus 7, and it works very well. I've also tried to install it on my LG G2, but it keeps crashing as well as the settings app. Is it because Mirror is using some files from the Settings-app?
Have someone found a workaround on how to use it? I'm currently on CloudyFlex 2.4, but I think the problem occurs on every LG-ROM.
Thanks in advance
