Hi , so I've managed to re-enable download mode because I was stuck on fastboot mode(i did it by re-flashing partitons via cmd) and now when I try to install KDZ file via LGflashtool it is stuck on 2% , I have found threads with assistance for this but ONLY for the d802 !!!
Does anyone have a sollution / suggestion ? please I don't know where to look anymore

Have you tried Returning to Stock via the .TOT method? Refer to this tutorial.
The .TOT and .DLL file for the D803 including extracted 10C partition images (if ever needed) can be found here.
A lot of people who get stuck at 2% for the KDZ method are able to successfully Return to Stock using the .TOT method.
I'd also recommend using the .tot instead of .kdz... I'm on the VS980 (different variant I know), but I've never had luck using the KDZ method and always have to use the TOT method. Pretty much the same with a different file.

the .TOT method seems like it would work BUT when flashing should begin in the flash tool, it tells me the phone model is different , I'm thinking I need a .TOT for D803R20F ( the .TOT file in your link says LGD803 V10c ), that is how the KDZ file wich I've succesfully used in the past was named , any ideea where I could get that file ?

If download mode shows, go back to stock with lg flash and .tot firmware file. It will reformat/rebuild all partitions. This is best because you may have a corrupted partition. You can re root after doing this.

After 2 day
My problem have been resolved (by me)in this morning
Soo good morning every body
I have got my g2 backed
I will tell u if your problem just like me
To force flash firmware without checking model numbers on your g2
1.do not use kdz file (but we still need it)
2.do not use up testEX
MAIN program we need is Lg flash tool
Just download your right kdz firmware file
Download your right tot firmware file
For model dll do not use dll given with tot file
Just use kdz extractor and extract your dll from your kdz file
Flash it with your tot firmware in lg flash tool
And Good luck
help?
can you explain how to extract the dll file from the kdz??
and does the kdz have to be the same version as the tot file??

Hi, I accidentally bricked my phone by installing F302S rom into my d802 (CloudyG2 3.0)
After lot of struggles I managed to fix the download mode (it's booting on fastboot previously)
but error occured when I flash d802 stock kdz file to my phone, it stopped at 49%
in the download mode it displayed my phone as F302S instead of d802
and seems like the error is because the flash tool does not allows me to install d802 as it is not F302S
I've read about cross dll file / LGUP_8974.dll for this problem, but I can't manage to understand it, can anyone please guide me on this?
any help will be appreciated greatly
Please help me anyone,
I'm getting desperate on this
I've tried to extract the kdz for my d802, and manual flash using Flash Tool V1.8.1.1023 with LGUP8974.dll from F320 and the extracted dz file of my kdz
but the flashtool does not detect my phone at port COM41, I've installed the driver too
please anyone, thanks

Hello, today i tried to flash from recovery this lollipop zip: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development-d802/rom-stock-30d-flashable-zip-t3070383 and flashed immediately TWRP also.
Now when i boot up the device I get a critical demigod error screen from which I can enter Download mode.
So i tried to install v30a .kdzwith flashtool but the installation fails...
Any suggestions? D:
I can only get to download mode, the phone is correctly recognized from the pc and LG Mobile Support Tools sees the device but with SW OPTIMUSG3 1.4.1 (the rom i had when I flashed Lollipop)!

As said above, you should try .tot method; I was like you, .kdz didn"t work, but .tot method works perfectly. You'll be on 4.2.2, 'cause .tot method only support 4.2.2 version of android on D802, but you can upgrade after with .zip rom or re-try .kdz method.
Check second part of this tutorial : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 ( "2015 (updated with pictures) TOT method" ).
Yeah, final thing: if, after .tot method you're stuck in bootloop, factory reset your phone (power off, then volum down + power key, wait for LG logo, release buttons, then volum down + power key again, and your phone should work like a charm). Let us know if it work!

do tot methot and it wil work follow this instructions get the tot files and the right dll i copy paste from a guy that had optimus and worked like this on him
"My problem was the infamous 2% bug with the KDZ. I think reason for this is the wrong device ID set in the 'build.prop' by the G3 rom for the G2. The flash tool expects a G2 but sees a G3.
I did not find a workaround for this BUT there is one for the TOT method. You will need:
- LGUnitedMobileDriver_S51MAN312AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.1 2.3.exe (version does not matter)
- Setup_LGFlashTool_1.8.1.1023.exe - for flashing of a TOT
- LGUP_8974.dll - this is needed for the flash tool to accept all TOTs
- the right TOT for your device
Please google these, I just checked and found them all. You can also find instructions for them.
Install drivers and LGFlashTool then start it.
Start smartphone in download mode by holding the volume up key while plugging USB in PC. Phone must be off.
Wait for the device recognition then change COM port of the new device in Windows device manager to something between 41-56 so that the flash tool can find the phone. In the model config window of the flash tool select the 'manual mode' then enter the path to the downloaded LGUP_8974.dll in 'DLL' and the path to your TOT file in 'S/W'. Set 'Action mode' to 'BOARD DL' then press 'OK'.
Your phone should be shown on selected COM port. Now you can press Start (the arrow).

No, do not rename file; it's .exe BUT when you'll double-click on it, it gonna launch winrar automatically; I was "scared" too, but it works pretty good don't worry. (Sorry I'm late, but I'm french, and there is jetlag between you and me...)

Ok guys! The TOT method worked Then I flashed v30a kdz and it works perfectly!
As you said the problem was that flashtool didn't recognise the G2 (probably it saw it as G3) so it keeps stopping at 2%.
Thank you all for the help :highfive:
Ps no jetlag I'm from Italy ;p

Thanks for the heads up. Gonna try this out in a moment. +1 added.
Well, I searched for a solution for a long time but I couldn't find one.
I accidentally flashed CloudyG3 2.5 on my LG G2 Korean LG U+ Variant (F320L).
I got HS-USB Diagnostics 9006 on my device manager and I managed to recover it via this thread.
I couldn't use the tool right way cause they didn't have my variant, so I extracted images from F320L TOT and replaced those aboot.img, laf.img, etc.
I got into the download mode and launched LG FlashTool (the TOT FlashTool) and loaded up my TOT and DLL on the tool and attempted to flash.
BUT the error "CrossDL [F400] to [F320L]" was shown in the log.
I think this problem is caused by flashing G3 ROM on my G2, changing the model name in system partition.
I have no idea how to solve this problem.
I tried flashing all kinds of g2 dll, but failed.
I considered flashing the G3 firmware, change the information on the phone, and re-flash g2 firmware, but I think that's gonna make the problem more difficult...
I tried booting into recovery and flash g2 custom firmware, but no recovery mode.
I tried fastboot mode, but phone just says "Security Error" and won't let me get into fastboot mode.
What should I do?
Please ask me if you don't understand exact situation. Sorry for my bad english...
