Hey guys,
I'm wanting to create my own rom basically with a few minimal tweaks and changes to the lollipop base. I'm located in Australia and there's not an official lollipop release for my country yet. My question is this, on roms such as AryaMod for example, in Aroma you're able to select which CSC you want. I want to be able to use Australian CSC which is XSA. How am I able to change from the CSC on N9005XXUGBOB6 firmware from XEO(Poland), to XSA(Australian)?
I apologise if this is a nooby question, I'm eager to learn this stuff for myself and make a rom exactly how I want it. The changes I want to make are all public here on XDA so I shouldn't have any issues with those. I'm just not sure on the CSC side of things.
Thank you.
Hello you can try with this app (but change csc make a full wipe)

Seems you can refer the CSC package from g00h

Hi The Android Experts,
I'd like to know about flashing using odin 3, can anyone help???
I really interesting in another country firmware, and I found one in thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2461580
But one thing I still worry, and I'd like to know,
In this thread there are separated files for PDA, Modem, CSC and Bootloader and I really scare about bootloader said warranty void 1
and I think about just flashing PDA only without CSC and Bootloader. for modem I've flashed XXUCMJ3 and work fine with indonesian CSC and Firmware XXUBMJ1. Now on the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2461580 thread there are N900XXUCMJ6_ROOT_ODEX PDA File and I just want to flash that PDA File only, That will be a problem??? or just fine. XXUCMJ6 is for Russia at this time, and is it safe to use with indonesian CSC??? Thanks a lot.
And another question was N900XXUCMJ6_ROOT_ODEX has any changes with kernel?? or still hold the original kernel? and does this Russian XXUCMJ6 Root Odex changed my original indonesian kernel???
Thanks
Since i got the s4 i played alot with the custom roms and stock roms. i want to know which fimware country came with the device. i don't want to install any firmware from sammobile. can anyone tell me how to know that ?
Is this phone unlocked? If so, you can install any stock ROM you want that matches the device model number. The CSC in this case does not matter and in fact the CSC may change to something other than the country you're downloading for. As an example, I downloaded firmware with a CSC of BTU, installed it on my phone, watched as three Swiss apps were installed on the phone (all easy to remove) and discovered that the CSC changed to AUT.
Other than sammobile, the only alternative that I know of is samsung-updates.com. But tell me, what is the problem with sammobile.com?

Hi guys i am starting this thread asking for a bit of help with csc on my n910f.
I have seen a lot of single csc custom roms that i wouldnt mind trying out but i need to have a BTU csc . I asked this question on a custom rom page and he mentioned there are ways to flash a rom without changing current csc but cant find any info on that. I also wondered if its possible that if the rom has a single csc file wpuld i be able to change that file to BTU csc. If any of this is possible can someone be kind enough to help me out please. Thanks in advance.
Maybe this thread can help you.
thanks for reply I have got the btu csc he has done on the post. I cant seem to flash over a single csc custom rom. is there anyway I can put my csc into the rom .zip file and install the rom and my own csc with it?
Can you explain which steps are you following to flash roms?
Clean flash. Start with official fw. Flash twrp recovery and then flash rom. Some of the roms iv been trying to use are single csc roms not multi. Tried phone info app. Obviously cant change csc if its a single csc rom. Tried flash btu csc.tar via odin and reset rom but doesnt change if im using single csc rom. Wondering if i can change the actual csc files in a custom rom to flash my csc with any rom i need to try.
Hi all, I need your professional support.
I installed Android 7.0 CSC=BTU comming from CSC=NEE on my Galaxy s7 model SM-G935F. The problem I have is, that I`am not reciving SMS from other countries. SMS from my family living in Denmark working good.
Is there any settings I should change? or do you have another suggestions.

There is nothing in the phone settings that can change or alter the csc it has...
BUT.................................
Here is a link which has the aroma csc installer which you can flash in twrp.
It contains over a 100 different csc for different regions and countries that
you can select from and when you find the one you want and select it in the
aroma csc installer it will flash it automatically flash the csc you select.
Please Note: your phone must be rooted to use the aroma csc installer.
Here is the xda link where you can download the the flashable aroma installer
zip file and where you can read the full easy to follow instructions:

Good luck,
Have a great day!
My phone is not rooted, so I prefer another solution

The only other way to do it would be to go to http://sammobile.com
and find your exact model of phone with the exact csc you need
then download it & odin flash it. Odin flashing does NOT trip knox.
Flashing official firmware from sammobile does not void warranty
and will not affect samsung pay.
Good luck,

Or, it may be as simple as an APN issue. With Vodafone UK at least, you can call up and have them send the APN settings down to your phone. I'm sure you should be able to do the same?
Did you get this working?
No

As VOLTE support is CSC based, the only way to support VOLTE is to change the CSC to my current operator's. However, I would like to use custom ROMs for my N910G. The custom ROMs are usually not inclusive of my CSC.
As I can download official ROM for my N910G, is there a way to take out the CSC from original ROM and flash it on the custom ROM? I hope anyone can answer me. What I have seen is that someone is able to flash CSC onto another official ROM. However, I also wants to know the process.
